Beijing Le Meng Hotel was an excellent experience! The quadrangle courtyard is charmingly old-fashioned, full of old Beijing character. The location is super convenient, right next to Houhai and Gulou. The room was cozy and clean, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended!

This hotel is close to many must-visit attractions in Beijing. I used Alipay to get a Beijing city bus pass and a suburban bus pass, which gave me 50% off bus fares – usually 1 yuan per ride. You need to scan a QR code when you get on and off the bus. Subway fares aren't discounted, but the hotel is only a few hundred meters from the subway station. They offer breakfast for 20 yuan, and lunch and dinner for 35 yuan. The only downside is there's no elevator, so I hope they add one next time. They're eco-conscious here, as the trash cans don't have liners. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. On the way to the subway, near the hotel, there's a hutong where you can get a pancake with a fried egg for 3 yuan. The mirror area in my room had no light, which made it a bit dark for putting on makeup, but the lighting in other areas was sufficient.

This hotel is located in a *hutong* (traditional alley) and has parking, which is convenient for those traveling by car. It's very clean and the environment is pleasant. It's also very close to Prince Gong's Mansion and Yandai Xiejie (Skewed Tobacco Pouch Street). Upon check-in, we received complimentary fruit in the room. When checking out, we were given a lovely farewell gift bag with some small snacks. The mini-bar offers Beibingyang soda, Coke, sour plum juice, and mineral water, all complimentary.

If you're looking for an immersive experience of a bustling hutong, where you can lie in bed and hear footsteps and cabinet doors opening and closing from upstairs on your right, and the sounds of parking and conversations on your left late into the night, then this hotel is definitely for you. Other than that, the hotel environment is quite good, transportation is convenient, and the service is also decent. However, I don't think it's suitable for light sleepers, especially if you're staying on the first floor.

The lady at the front desk was very welcoming, and the room was spotless. The location is excellent; the front desk staff even helped me find a parking spot. Anzhen Hospital is right across the street, and the subway station is only 100 meters away on foot. The rooms are equipped with smart devices, and the projector comes with a membership already set up. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem! The environment is lovely, and it's spotlessly clean. A great choice all around. The service was perfect – so warm and welcoming, and they even allowed for a late check-out. Plus, there are plenty of dining options conveniently located nearby. Highly recommend!

This Ibis in a hutong has a wonderful Beijing vibe. It's super convenient for getting around, really close to Gulou subway station, making it easy to explore. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Overall, a great experience – highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, truly breathtaking. From the moment you step in, you're captivated. It looks small from the outside, but the interior design is incredibly spacious and unique. The courtyard extends downwards, adding a lot of space and functionality, and even the rooftops are thoughtfully designed. Yet, the overall style seamlessly blends with the surrounding *hutong* (traditional alleyways). The heating in the room was excellent, keeping it very warm even in the dead of winter. It was never cold, even after a shower. The hotel has 12 rooms, each named after a month of the year – seemingly whimsical, but full of character. The staff were very friendly and patient. It was a fantastic stay.

I chose this hotel because I wanted to experience staying in a Beijing hutong. The hotel is lovely, and I felt the cleaning staff to be very pleasant and the front desk gifted me a fruit plate and goodbye gift at checkout. This hotel is ideal for light travelers because taxi drivers will not pick up in front of the hotel because of the narrow streets. The hotel breakfast was a standard Chinese breakfast spread which I enjoyed. It is well situated off of a main tourist street and the subway station is also close by. I felt the room was small compared to other properties I have stayed at with this hotel chain, but I still felt like it gave me the hutong experience that I wanted for this trip in Beijing

This is a really unique hotel for families, with a highlight being the shadow puppet show. The teacher explained the production and performance details in depth, and you could even go backstage for a hands-on experience, which is perfect for kids. Plus, there were a lot of foreigners – if you're a social butterfly, you could definitely strike up a conversation and practice your English! The only slight inconvenience is its location in a hutong; it's about a 15-minute walk from the subway station. However, it's quite easy to get a Didi ride from there.
