Apartamentos Bahia

A terrible experience! Went with my Fiance and Baby in September and the room was filthy with an infestation of ants. I had to disinfect the apartment and wash the floors straight away. The rooms were supposed to be cleaned every few days or so but we were there 8 days and the room was never approached by the cleaners. We asked for a baby cot and it was so filthy it was a health hazard. Young man who was the duty manager at the time was very rude and unhelpful and made sure we paid a fee for a new (clean!) replacement cot. We left before our Holidays ended because we managed to get an apartment elsewhere. We obviously lost out financially but we did not care as we were delighted to leave and go to a different much cleaner apartment elsewhere

This establishment originally used to provide an excellent cleaning service and everything (although slightly dated ) was in tip top condition. Since being taken over by new owners it's plain to see standards have dropped .Towels and sheets were not changed in the whole week .There were stains on the sheets and also on the shower curtain in bathroom Also there were dead mosquito remains over the walls in room .VERY disappointed.in general .These points were mentioned to the reception staff and only the shower curtain replaced ,nothing else was corrected.
