This time I traveled to Norway, stayed for a total of 11 nights, stayed at 7 hotels, this is my second favorite hotel, the location is very good, very close to Bergen pier. The hotel decoration is ingenious, it is the most special in all the hotels I have stayed in. The interior decoration reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. It is really hard to imagine. It takes a lot of thought to decorate the hotel like this. But the fly in the ointment is that there is no table in the room, and there is no other trash can in the room except for a small trash can in the bathroom. I asked the waiter to help me get a trash can, and was stunned when I returned to the room because it was a huge trash can used in the lobby. I didn't like their breakfast, the choice was very small, and there was omelet that was hot, but I didn't like omelet that was cold for breakfast there was something cold to eat. I asked for a cappuccino, but there was a fishy smell.

The location is very convenient, within walking distance of everything. The front desk upgraded my room, which was much more spacious and comfortable. I requested a quiet room, and the hotel took note and arranged a room facing the courtyard, which was very quiet at night, and I slept very well. The hygiene facilities are about average for Scandinavia. Again, a reminder: when staying in Scandinavian hotels, bring your own toothbrush and slippers; this hotel also requires body lotion. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, and it starts very early, suitable for those catching a train or on a tour. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I would stay again next time.

It was a great stay at Opus.  The location is everything, the staff were wonderful especially Kartika who guided us on everything to do & eat in Bergen. She was v kind and helpful.  The breakfast had a great spread. And I would highly recommend this hotel.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and attractions are just a short stroll away. There's also a supermarket right behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The room is quite spacious, especially the bathroom. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. However, the electric kettle wasn't clean and still had water from the previous guest. The front desk service wasn't great; they weren't very enthusiastic. There's a good selection for breakfast, and the taste is decent.

Perfect location right in the city center. Walking distance to train, bus station and stops plus major tourist sights. Lots of restaurants within minutes of walking. Breakfast was decent, a plus when eating out is so expensive in Norway. Our room located in the front of the building can be a bit noisy during the weekend, having double glazed windows help. Friendly and helpful staff too. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in the core location, the location is excellent, a historical hotel for more than 100 years.

I booked this hotel about two months ago. Since I had consecutive nights but only needed breakfast on some days, I made separate reservations for each. It was very convenient for me, being close to the ferry terminal from Flåm, a supermarket, and Bryggen. The website stated check-in was at 4 PM, but I was able to check in a little after 3 PM. However, the person at the front desk during check-in seemed annoyed. When I asked about my luggage that I had dropped off earlier, they asked, 'Which room was it stored in?' Since I had only been assigned one room, I responded by asking, 'Which rooms are available?' They then unhappily directed me. There were about 5-6 people waiting to check in, and only two staff members were handling it. It's a shame, especially since the person who stored my luggage before check-in and the person who helped me with an inquiry after check-in were both perfectly professional. My room number had four digits, and it felt like it was in a separate annex, accessible via a staircase. Although there was a wheelchair lift, it felt more like a different hotel entirely. While it was technically a courtyard view, from my window, it was essentially a parking lot view at the same height, meaning I couldn't keep the curtains open. I really hope everyone else gets a room with a three-digit number. The breakfast, though, was excellent. There was a wide variety of breads and vegetables, gluten-free options, and even a live omelet station. It was definitely worth adding breakfast to my stay. I haven't factored the breakfast quality into my overall rating.

Convenient location as it's close to all the attractions and transport areas. Supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. A good value breakfast with lots of options and lots of staff with smiles on their faces and very helpful. The rooms are a good size but not fancy in any way, makes it a perfect place to sleep, get ready and explore.

Great clean, spacious serviced apartment, for a solo traveller. Both washing and drying machines (2 each) available in the building for use, which was very convenient after coming back from a few days of wild camping and outdoor adventures. One issued encountered was the room access through the phone - I had multiple instances where the room wouldn't unlock. Luckily a staff member was walking pass and issued a physical card for use.

The hotel is located in downtown Bergen, just a 10-minute walk from the Fish Market. My room was in a separate building from the reception. The room was very clean, but it lacked amenities like toothbrushes, cups, and a kettle. The coffee machine on the first floor was out of water, and I had to go to the building across the street to get coffee, which was inconvenient at night. The elevator is old-fashioned and frequently stopped on the eighth floor, so guests often had to take the stairs.
