"Baixiang Hotel is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at recently. It seems to be the tallest building in Longyan, and the lobby is very grand. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I especially want to commend a lady with a somewhat complex surname and glasses; she was very professional and deserves high praise. There's a claw machine on the first floor, and the staff member there even gave my two children a few extra game tokens, which they loved. All the other staff also provided excellent service. In the evening, when the technician came to fix the TV, he rang the doorbell and, after I opened the door, repeatedly confirmed if it was convenient for him to enter before coming in, which was very professional. The breakfast was quite good; the Fuding meat slices and noodles were exceptional. The coffee was a bit subpar, and there weren't many drink options, but there was enough to eat. The prices are usually very affordable, and they didn't raise them much during the ***** New Year. The suite was large, which I really liked. I'll definitely be back."

The 'Dongcheng Night' show arranged by the hotel was very enjoyable for the family, but a friendly tip: the Tulou Prince Scenic Area, a bit further away, has even more spectacular performances. Service: The front desk staff were very attentive, proactively asking if we needed a shuttle service. What touched me most was that the next day, when I was rushing to catch the high-speed train, because it was too early and before the drivers' start hours, the front desk staff proactively contacted a driver to expedite the process, getting me to the train station within 10 minutes. "The newly opened Hanting 4.0 this year is really different! It only opened in April, and the overall facilities are brand new and smart. As soon as you enter the lobby, you feel bright and warm.
Must focus on the young ladies and brothers at the front desk! The attitude was super good when checking in, the speech was gentle and polite, and I took the initiative to help me upgrade the room type 🥺 I said that I wanted to live in a quieter room, they immediately helped coordinate, really ulterior motives for the guests to consider! What needs to consult them these days, always smile and promise, try their best to help, this service attitude is really moving.
The room is also super satisfied! The upgraded room is very spacious, the layout is reasonable, and it is not cramped at all. The point is that the cleaning is very, very clean, the floor is clean, the bedding is soft, the bathroom is refreshing and odorless, and the sanitary details of the new store are really in place. "This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience.
As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time.
These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay."

"The smart hotel is worthy of its name. It is really surprising to have such a good room for less than 200. The space is large enough, the hygiene is very good, the decoration facilities are very new, and the front desk service attitude is very good. The room size is also very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas and the space is large. Smart devices are very suitable for young people. What I like most is that the lights in the toilet are all induction, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn off the lights. The robot delivery is also very fast and super convenient. AAnonymous UserThe hotel is facing Guanzhang Mountain and has an excellent location. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Guanzhang Mountain directly from the balcony of the room and the platform on the second floor of the hotel.
The duplex suite we booked is perfect for family outings. The first floor is a living room with enough space for tea viewing, and the second floor is two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and toilets, which are large and spacious.
Hotel service is very good, patient and kind, check-in and check-out speed are very fast.
The trip also had two breakfasts and two dinners in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast had a variety of local specialties, which was quite hearty. The dinner was good and cheap, and the seasonal vegetables were quite delicious.

GGuest UserI really loved the hotel's design and ambiance. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. It featured a projector, an automatic toilet, and smart room modes; with just a press of a button, the lighting and other settings would adjust automatically. They also offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. There's a courier station just a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast spread offered a good variety too! Everything tasted delicious – flavorful, not too salty or greasy. I especially recommend the *jiuniang* (sweet fermented rice soup), Sihuanhua, fried eggs, and the freshly made noodles. The staff were all very warm and friendly, always greeting us. Knowing we had traveled a long distance, they even gave us a small gift bag containing some snacks and water to help us re-energize for our journey. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! (They even upgraded us for free as our originally booked room type wasn't available due to a late check-out. *Please note: The attached photo is of the upgraded room, not our original booking.*)

GGuest UserI would highly recommend Changdi Inn, housed in a family owned tulou in a peaceful spot by the river in the village. a very unique experience! Our host Steven spoke great English and was the most friendly and helpful host. Our dinner was prepared by the mother and we could enjoy that and breakfast in the tulou courtyard. Very special !

LljpcEnjoyed our 3 nights stay in this family run hotel just next to the Tulou. Had a nice river/mountain facing well equipped room with projector TV, wireless charging side table and v.comfy beds. Boss and his 2 nephews were most hospitable and offered their utmost assistance to us. . Everyone were super friendly and sociable. Hakka food is pretty good at the hotel and they do BBQs during the summer months outside at their patio , great to chill & socialise with the locals over a drink or 2 . They even had fireworks. Highly recommend to take the hotel package inclusive of the tulou night show plus a hotel set dinner.

The proprietress personally took us to Tulou Prince and told us the story of his family, which was more vivid than the regular tour guide's explanation. You could hear the pride from her family.
The proprietress took a lot of photos for us, and the scene was amazing.

YYouyayoumomoyuThe entire square Tulou building, Chaoyang Tower, has been transformed into a guesthouse. It retains many of its mottled walls, giving it a strong sense of history and rustic charm. The wooden stairs, hallway floorboards, and wooden doors all creak, which the kids found quite fun. It's truly pleasant to quietly listen to the birds, admire the distant mountains, and sip tea here.
We visited during Chinese New Year, and generally felt the festive cheer was a bit lacking. For example, the front desk didn't have any New Year's candies or similar treats (which, of course, isn't a requirement). The spring couplets by the entrance had also fallen off, and the ground floor was mostly deserted, feeling very quiet and lonely.
Breakfast was served at a different guesthouse, 'Duli', and it was absolutely delicious!
The room design had some inconveniences. The countertop next to the sink was quite low, making it uncomfortable to stoop down for makeup or other activities. Hanging space for clothes was limited, and the hanging rod felt a bit shaky, so we were hesitant to put too many items on it. In the duplex room, it got quite cold at night. While the upper level had air conditioning, the lower level did not, with only a heater in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was extremely low, and the storage water heater couldn't sustain hot water for long, leading to a very poor overall showering experience.
I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, as the prices are better value. It's acceptable for a short stay, but for a longer trip, I wouldn't advise it for anyone who enjoys taking proper showers.

Due to delays, I came to check out after 2:30. The front desk was also very considerate and understanding. I have to give this a thumbs up!

The overall value for money is good. However, the kettle is a bit dirty and the bed is too soft. I have a bad waist and cannot sleep on a soft bed, so I still give it 5 stars.

GGuest UserThe host arranged for us to make torches and join in the local Lantern Festival celebrations, which included the 'Tian Xinding' custom – it was a really fun experience! The hotel was very clean and quiet. The host was also remarkably confident in their service and went out of their way to help, even assisting me with receiving a package. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
