The service is super good, but unfortunately I booked too late and only got one night. The pick-up was arranged from the moment I entered the scenic area. The owner gave me some tour suggestions as soon as I checked in. The suggestions were very reasonable and he also helped to deliver my luggage to the homestay the next day. The newly renovated room is very stylish and has a great view. It is very quiet on the mountain and is suitable for watching the scenery and relaxing yourself. You can also watch the stars on the terrace at night. The software is also good. I use a Dyson hair dryer and Jurlique toiletries. It is within walking distance from the Wolshen Palace, so you can leave early on holidays to avoid the crowds.

The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

Environment: The hotel's decoration design is aesthetically pleasing. Whether it is the small courtyard or the flower arrangement in the restaurant, it is artistic and worth appreciating. The overall design is relatively new and very clean and tidy. Service: Every boss in the store (I think they are all bosses) is very friendly, especially the tall lady who serves tea in the evening. Her smile is very contagious. Food: The focus is on afternoon tea. The appearance and taste are both online. I like osmanthus black tea and tangerine peel melon seeds very much. I also order meals here. Although the price is higher than that of restaurants outside, the environment and hygiene are friendly. I have to say that Jiuhua bamboo shoots fried meat and the small cold dishes of snow vegetables and fresh bamboo shoots in the morning are really delicious😋

Facilities: Complete Sanitation: Good Environment: Except for some clutter outside the window, everything else is good! Service: Good I booked this hotel by accident and got an unexpected surprise. The room is spacious and bright, the quilts and bedding are very comfortable, and there are bathrobes. In short, it is cost-effective! Recommend!

The hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . The room was clean, the central air conditioning was powerful, and most importantly, the air conditioning didn't blow directly on the bed or my head! The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and the location was great, just steps from Huxingshan Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby… This is a guesthouse built to hotel standards… It offers excellent value for money!

The misty rain was on Jiuhua Mountain, the air was humid and cold, but I couldn't feel it at all when I entered the house. The reception girl and the aunt were very warm. They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. I should still choose here next time, I hope to keep it in shape, and I have been so good [rose]

I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

The accommodation was great, and if you're driving, parking is incredibly convenient. We arrived by high-speed train, and the hotel arranged a pick-up for us directly from the scenic area's entrance. On our departure day, we could leave our luggage at the front desk. Later, after we came down from the mountain, a simple call to the hotel was enough, and they sent staff to deliver our luggage to us. Highly recommended.
