The warm-toned stone combined with simple soft furnishings completely avoided the oppressive feeling of traditional hotels. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and checked me in super quickly, even offering the signature warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie 🍪. The aroma of chocolate mixed with butter instantly melted away most of my long flight fatigue~ I booked a standard room, and the space was a delightful surprise. At over 30 square meters, I could easily maneuver even with a 28-inch suitcase. The bedding had just the right firmness, allowing me to sleep deeply until morning 💤. The bathroom amenities were of Hilton's consistent quality; the hot water came out quickly, and the water pressure was as steady as a massage. Taking a bath after a day out always left me feeling refreshed! The facilities were also a big plus 🏊: The pool was clean and sparkling, having just opened the day before I arrived (remember it closes on the last weekend of every month, so don't make a wasted trip!). The fitness center had a full range of equipment, and a 30-minute run in the morning left me feeling light. The parking lot was huge, so self-drivers don't have to worry about finding a spot. The airport shuttle bus dropped me right at the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient ✅. The breakfast variety was so rich it made it hard to choose! The freshly made omelets were so tender they practically oozed juice. There were also local specialties like tandoor bread with yogurt, and the fresh-cut fruit, with its intense aroma, varied daily. Compared to other hotels in Central Asia at the same price point, the value for money here is truly unbeatable. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and every detail is well thought out. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Shymkent! "It is possible to rent all towels, shower caps, bathrobes and sandals (in lockers) for the pool, spa, Turkish bath and sauna in the basement. Floor heating is provided in autumn and winter. Since almost only men are in the mixed bath (it is said that they also stop by membership), it is recommended that women jump in at 8 o'clock in the morning. If you apply cream on your face and hair, cover your entire body with a towel, and then lie down in the Turkish bath, it will take about 3 hours and only a few seconds to get a moist shine."

"We booked the hotel for one night. The location is absolutely fantastic, with a park nearby, and both the Old Town and Independence Park within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean, featuring four separate loggias, and the beds had comfortable pillows and mattresses. All toiletries, towels, bathrobes, and slippers were provided according to the number of guests. I especially want to extend a big thank you to the reception staff. They allowed us to check in three hours early, explained where everything was and how to get around. Since we had an early flight, they immediately offered us breakfast to go without us even asking. There are two excellent restaurants nearby with European and Oriental cuisine. I highly recommend visiting both."

"A bit unexpected. This hotel just opened this year, and the facilities and cleanliness are excellent. On my first night, the AC wasn't cooling well, so when I extended my stay the next day, the front desk upgraded my room as compensation. The staff were all wonderful; I woke up at 5 AM to catch a flight and already saw the cleaning staff tidying the lobby – truly hardworking. There's a restaurant on the first floor, and the hotel is located on a main road in the city, with plenty of other restaurants, fast-food places, and cafes nearby, which is very convenient."

"We overall really enjoyed our time in Shymkent and our stay at the Ramada. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming—they even surprised us with a beautiful, thoughtful fruit tray upon arrival! Throughout our entire stay, the team was always very helpful, attentive, and right there whenever we needed assistance, especially when helping us look into local sightseeing options. While we had a great stay, there were a couple of areas that could be improved: Housekeeping:We noticed we had to explicitly request to have our room cleaned and vacuumed daily. Traveling with a toddler means dealing with a lot of inevitable crumbs, so daily floor cleaning was important to us. Room Temperature: In the evenings and during the night, the room got incredibly warm. Even when we turned the thermostat down to a colder setting, the temperature didn't seem to drop, making it a bit uncomfortable for sleeping. We also had breakfast at the adjacent restaurant, which is served buffet-style, and ate dinner there one evening. The food for both meals was just okay, but convenient. Despite the minor issues with the AC and housekeeping, the exceptional hospitality and kindness of the staff made our visit memorable. We would absolutely recommend this hotel for its wonderful service!"

"Отель по интерьеру из 90х или начала нулевых. Требует обновления. Конден в номере еле дышит. Заявленного бассейна нет, закрыт, а мы были как раз в жару и он бы вообще не помешал. Обслуживание норм, НО есть большое НО - заказывали в номер ужин, в целом то всё бы ничего и ребра и рыба, но пицца с волосами это как-то уже совсем испортило впечатление!"
