"Less than 200 RMB for two nights, and breakfast included? Can't really complain, can I? My two-night stay was great, except for the lack of TV and broken Wi-Fi. Breakfast was simple but sufficient; the freshly made omelet was pretty good. Two slices of toast with butter, a cup of coffee, and two pieces of fruit – I was satisfied. In the evenings, there were some great food stalls right outside: that Indian bread with three dips that I later found delicious and cheap in Kuala Lumpur. Across the street, there was a char kway teow stall with a queue for 7 MYR. Further down, past the traffic lights in a small alley, you could find seafood like prawns, clams, and snails. A bit further, I recommend the wanton mee run by a father and daughter; right next to it was oyster omelet. And at the end of this street, there was even curry chicken bread and coffee shops, haha."

"The location is truly strategic. It's right in the heart of Bandar Hilir, and walking along the Melaka River is just a short distance behind. There are also many delicious eateries next door and in front, so it's definitely worth it. The room was comfortable. This is the only hotel I've stayed at that actually provides conditioner! I was so impressed. The hotel has a Bali vibe – very beautiful and peaceful. The only scary part was the parking 😅, it was really narrow. I hope the hotel management finds more suitable parking for guests, because I will definitely be staying here again for my next vacation 🫣"

"Positive : Good location, good price, I booked twin room , room and bathroom size just nice for 2 guess. negative: hotel looks a bit run down, bathroom no lock .. which is a bit inconvenient when travelling with friends, the escalater not working, the corridors to the room so dark at night, they off the lights to save the cost but feel a bit unsafe as lady traveller , front dest guys was not friendly at all... i just asked a bit earlier 2.30 check in , he answered so rude .. hotel reception mean need to smile at least even if the answer is no .. actually its weekdays and the entire hotel only a few guests..can give.. i hv many hotel give at 2 pm if room available.. i hate the hotel doesn't give early check in but strictly mk early check out even not super low season.. and this hotel is only 3star level .. its not 4 star .. but the swimming pool is good"

"This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka."

"The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was quite good . Very convenient to travel around and explore area. The only one thing disappointed us that experience during check out. We had informed the front desk in person as we needed a late check out till 2pm and then had paid RM50 for it . The front desk took our keycard and room number to update after payment. So Despite this , around 1.15 pm , one of the hotel staff come to our room and rang the bell to tell us that it’s already over the check out time . We feel that the staff should have checked their system or confirmed with the front desk before coming to our room and inform us we exceed the check-out time. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay there and liked the spacious room and convenient location."

"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Arissa Melaka. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were cozy, and I had a good night's sleep after exploring the city. The bathroom was spacious, with good water pressure and hot water available throughout my stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, just a short drive from Jonker Street and other popular attractions. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to grab a meal or daily essentials. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and hassle-free. Overall, Hotel Arissa offers great value for money and is a good choice for anyone visiting Melaka. I would consider staying here again on my next trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5"

"Located in a town area therefore convenient with easy access to nearby amenities Room was spacious and comfortable which made the stay more relaxing The highlight was the TV sport channel. Very enjoyable as it coincided with the World Cup season. Will be more entertaining if have TV in the room too. Breakfast was served buffet-style with an adequate selection of food options. Not extensive but sufficient and satisfying Overall had a pleasant staycation"
