After checking out of a seriously awful hotel, this place was absolutely great. Very clean, fresh paint, clean, bright pool. Beds were very comfortable. Holiday Inn purchased this large property recently. Lots of clean, space with new furniture to spread out with groups. Each queen bed had four comfy pillows, clean bedding. Staff was very accommodating to our requests, very polite. No free breakfast, unfortunately. Starbucks coffee in the room, and walking distance to bagel joint and restaurants across the street. Everything was smooth, working condition, no problems with room keys, remotes or anything like that. Very comfortable and clean. Great hot tub for adults to watch kids in a warm-water pool.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, this hotel disappointed. We are titanium for life and currently titanium with ambassador. Without going into detail, this hotel did not recognize our loyalty in any way from an upgrade to late check out. After dealing with an awful front desk person, the manager did the right thing and honored our late check out. Thank you! In addition, calling the front desk for any reason was always painful as we called several times and the call was answered once. The concierge lounge is open until 9 am for breakfast then locked. You can’t even go in for a can of pop, water bottle or cup of coffee. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and updated. Next time we’ll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.

I am a Diamond HHonors member, and selected this hotel as I enjoy Embassy Suites properties, and this one was conveniently located. Checking In, I was given a room on the second floor which was adequately cleaned. Usually upon checking in, I unpack my bag and hang my shirts in the bathroom to steam out the wrinkles with a hot shower running. This time, I did not do it, although I wish I had, as I paid the price in the morning. When I woke up, after going to the gym (also adequate) I turned on the shower and noticed the control seemed to be reversed. After letting the water run, I was only able to get it to the point where the ”hot” water was lukewarm at best. I checked the sink which had plenty of hot water. Anyways, I had to get my day going, so I settled for a quick cold shower. I let the front desk know when I checked out, so that they could fix it. The front desk person asked if I wanted the manager to contact me, which I replied, yes, of course. It has been almost a month, and I still had not been contacted by any manager. When selecting a hotel, the main things I look for are a clean bed and a hot shower. This property missed, and the management missed as well.

I’ve been staying in extended stay for 7 months On business the first hotel I stayed in never offered me reward points for the whole seven months I’ve been there the second extend the stay I’m in now is the worst hotel ever, The Office people are rude not helpful when I came to this hotel The assistant manager gave me one fork one pan two knives and it wasn’t even in a plastic bag it was hand to hand very unsanitary. This room is so infested with flies that I pay for room I couldn’t stay in for two days because it is terrible this is very unacceptable for anyone who is on business to stay in a hotel that’s supposed to be nice but it seems like it’s on a level lower than the Days Inn or a motel six I will give them a better rating than this hotel here on Brookfield corporate Drive in Virginia I should be refunded my money back for staying here I’ll put in to a new room I want some of my money back for this room this is the worst place ever a shelter would’ve been cleaner than it flies in this room

From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, this hotel disappointed. We are titanium for life and currently titanium with ambassador. Without going into detail, this hotel did not recognize our loyalty in any way from an upgrade to late check out. After dealing with an awful front desk person, the manager did the right thing and honored our late check out. Thank you! In addition, calling the front desk for any reason was always painful as we called several times and the call was answered once. The concierge lounge is open until 9 am for breakfast then locked. You can’t even go in for a can of pop, water bottle or cup of coffee. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and updated. Next time we’ll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.

After checking out of a seriously awful hotel, this place was absolutely great. Very clean, fresh paint, clean, bright pool. Beds were very comfortable. Holiday Inn purchased this large property recently. Lots of clean, space with new furniture to spread out with groups. Each queen bed had four comfy pillows, clean bedding. Staff was very accommodating to our requests, very polite. No free breakfast, unfortunately. Starbucks coffee in the room, and walking distance to bagel joint and restaurants across the street. Everything was smooth, working condition, no problems with room keys, remotes or anything like that. Very comfortable and clean. Great hot tub for adults to watch kids in a warm-water pool.

Bathroom is adequate, but tiny…no grab bar in shower, very limited counter space around sink. Staff were a mixture of good and substandard. Breakfast served in a dusty room with bare cement floor. Shower heads could use a good cleaning over all room was very clean. The staff needs alot of work on manners! At check in no one was at the desk and the phone to call them dose not work right, you need to tap it to release the button to get a dial tone (needs to be replaced). It took her 15 min to come from where ever she was and looked like we woke her up! We checked in at 10:30. We stayed two nights, and needed another night and let the night audit person know so they dint wake us in the morning and he kept telling me he couldn't do it, computers were down. Had to tell him yes I know your running audit, just leave a note so we don't get woke up and i will come down in morning to rent another night! Next morning same one that checked us in, standing at desk texting on her phone and then tried to make a call, while i'm standing and waiting! and then look at me disgusted like i was interrupting her and her friend that was standing there! told her I need room another night because my daughter just had the first New Years baby, No Congratulations or good morning or hope your enjoying your stay. Next morning we were up at the end of breakfast time and they had not started cleaning dinning area yet so we grabbed some hot food that was left with our coffee, and desk person right away snorts breakfast is done! yes I know this and also know that stuff gets thrown away that is not used and I walked away. I worked In a Motel for 7 years, I loved my job and the people that stayed, And we were at the desk as soon as you walked in the door, even if we were working on laundry from that day. And if anyone came down last min for food we were glad to help them and also get them somethings if it ran out, I have worked ever shift and housekeeping in my time. We were there to help people and make their stay pleasant and a good one, that's how you get people to come back!

Super fast checkin and room was great on the top floor with a view. You get what you pay for in hotels and yet it still amazes me that Marriott makes you pay extra for a breakfast when their rates are 20 to 30% above others that do offer complimentary breakfast. That being said for an extra $30 on the rate we could have at least had breakfast but chose to save the money. Room was a good size and bathroom had plenty of room. TV was huge and room came with a small fridge, tea and coffee. There was a safe if needed also. Bed was a little lumpy and they were only doubles and not queens which is a head scratcher. Hotel also had a nice American food restaurant and bar, the food was very good we stayed and ate vs. driving out. Hotel has a pool also and Starbucks. All in all good stay in a quiet location.

I’ve been staying in extended stay for 7 months On business the first hotel I stayed in never offered me reward points for the whole seven months I’ve been there the second extend the stay I’m in now is the worst hotel ever, The Office people are rude not helpful when I came to this hotel The assistant manager gave me one fork one pan two knives and it wasn’t even in a plastic bag it was hand to hand very unsanitary. This room is so infested with flies that I pay for room I couldn’t stay in for two days because it is terrible this is very unacceptable for anyone who is on business to stay in a hotel that’s supposed to be nice but it seems like it’s on a level lower than the Days Inn or a motel six I will give them a better rating than this hotel here on Brookfield corporate Drive in Virginia I should be refunded my money back for staying here I’ll put in to a new room I want some of my money back for this room this is the worst place ever a shelter would’ve been cleaner than it flies in this room

I am a Diamond HHonors member, and selected this hotel as I enjoy Embassy Suites properties, and this one was conveniently located. Checking In, I was given a room on the second floor which was adequately cleaned. Usually upon checking in, I unpack my bag and hang my shirts in the bathroom to steam out the wrinkles with a hot shower running. This time, I did not do it, although I wish I had, as I paid the price in the morning. When I woke up, after going to the gym (also adequate) I turned on the shower and noticed the control seemed to be reversed. After letting the water run, I was only able to get it to the point where the ”hot” water was lukewarm at best. I checked the sink which had plenty of hot water. Anyways, I had to get my day going, so I settled for a quick cold shower. I let the front desk know when I checked out, so that they could fix it. The front desk person asked if I wanted the manager to contact me, which I replied, yes, of course. It has been almost a month, and I still had not been contacted by any manager. When selecting a hotel, the main things I look for are a clean bed and a hot shower. This property missed, and the management missed as well.
