Trash hotel, trash service, trash after-sales, trash promises! I've never seen a hotel so shamelessly disregard its written commitments! Is it because the Egyptian staff here have a natural tendency for deceit?
I arrived at the hotel in the morning and saw a lot of people queuing up in two lines for check-in. Naturally, I joined one of the queues. As it was almost my turn, a staff member told me to go queue in the other line. I reluctantly moved to the end of the other line and started over. When it was my turn again, the staff at this line told me to return to the first queue, claiming she had never told me to come here in the first place. (Of course, she didn't—it was another staff member who said so when she wasn’t around.)
We got into an argument, and her voice grew louder and louder. Eventually, a manager came over, checked my reservation, and said that I couldn't check in until the afternoon. It was obvious—others were being checked in without issue, but I was singled out. Many hotels state afternoon check-ins in their policies, but if rooms are available, they’ll allow it. This manager was clearly punishing me for arguing with his staff, even though they were at fault.
My online reservation did specify an afternoon check-in, so I had no choice but to wait in the lobby until the afternoon. While waiting, I submitted a complaint through the hotel’s official website. A few days later, I received the email shown in the image—a response from their manager apologizing and promising to refund my room fee.
I waited and waited, but the refund never came. When I followed up with an email, there was no response. I then reached out to Trip.com, only to be told that the hotel outright refused to issue a refund. So, after all this, it turns out this hotel is full of lies and doesn’t even honor their written commitments. Unbelievable! 垃圾酒店,垃圾服务,垃圾售后,垃圾承诺!!!!没见过么无良不守书面承诺的酒店!难道是埃及人的骗子属性太强了?!我是当天上午到酒店的,看到很多人在排成两队Check In,我也就跟着排了队。快轮到我的时候,工作人员却让我到另一队去排。我只好到另一队的队尾从头开始排。没想到轮到我的时候,这边的工作人员又让我到另一边去排,并且说她没说过让我到这边排(当然她没说,是另一个人在她不在的时候说的),我和她争执了一番,她的声音越来越大,后来来了一个主管,检查了半天说,我的Check In需要在下午。很明显,其他人都可以,唯独我不可以,很多酒店规定在下午check in,但是实际上有空房,都可以办理的。这个主管明显是在惩罚我和他的下属争吵,但是他们是有错在先的。我在网上的预订条件确实是下午,没办法,我只好在大厅等到下午。在等候的空隙,我在他们的酒店官网上进行了投诉。过了几天,他们的主管给我来了如图所示的邮件,道歉一番,并且承诺要退我房费。我一直等啊等啊,一直没有等到。后来回邮件就再也没有回复了。我问trip.com,没成想,trip.com说酒店根本就不想退一分钱。弄了半天,这个酒店谎话连篇,连白纸黑字的邮件都不认了,无敌了!
