Stunningly beautiful hotel in well kept gardens. Truly was so stunning. I had booked a basic single room however my room was gorgeous. Lovely and bright with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The swimming pool was so lovely albeit cold as not heated. I took off a few points for amenities only because it was Ramadan so the swimming pool was surrounded by couches and access to the pool was difficult. In the morning staff were limited as they were probably up all night due to Ramadan. The cinema wasn't open and I had booked the hotel to go to the cinema. Overall I had a wonderful few days in the hotel and would live to experience this hotel outside of Ramadan. I paid extra for breakfast which was adequate, nothing special and I bought sandwiches at the bakery. I didn't actually eat in any of the restaurants.

One of the best stays. The service is amazing. The gym has the most amazing view of the Nile river. The staff is very attentive and make sure you have a luxurious stay. Our room had the Nile view and was on the 14th floor. The hotel gets busy in the evenings. The hotel has the best food and also it has a lot of food joints opposite the road which requires 20 EP.

+ Very good location, very clean, modern room, nice heated pool, very good selection of breakfast items, very friendly staff + they gave late check out for free till 4 pm when requested in the morning, very helpful as our outbound flight was in the evening - The directions at airport could have been better to take the trolley to the airport walk bridge (not hotel's fault). -The queue at checkout was long, so keep spare time aside to reach the airport check-in on time. - The key card stopped working at 12pm even though a late checkout was offered. I had to go to the reception to get it reactivated

We arrived to Cairo to stay at the marriot hotel, a former beautiful palace. Unfortunately and even though we were given a really nice garden view room, we had some problems (noises) with the bathroom pipes during the night. Nevertheless the following day we explained the problem and we were not only changed without any question but offered an even better room! Thanks Qamar for all your help! This is what a 5 star hotel should be!

Staying at Novotel was a great experience, the hotel was nice loved my room!! Only few things I was disturbed how I asked for an iron & ironing board they kept taking it out of my room, when I needed it for my whole stay 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🙃!! Secondly the jacuzzi wasn't hot so I can enjoy on my last day of stay. Lastly there was no microwave in the room but a mini fridge??! Usually hotels come with both. Other then that the hotel was great, the food I had to adjust to & the front desk person that checked me in & out was awesome!! Great customer service.

I stayed at Tolip Golden Plaza for some nights during my business trip to Cairo. The hotel is located in a busy area, close to a big mall and some restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, but the furniture was a bit old and worn out. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft for my liking. The bathroom was decent, but the water pressure was low and the towels were not very soft. The WiFi was free, but slow and unreliable. The breakfast buffet was good, but not very varied. The staff were polite and helpful, but not very attentive. The pool was nice, but small and crowded. The fitness center was well-equipped, but the massage services were expensive. Overall, I had a satisfactory stay at Tolip Golden Plaza, but I think there are better options in Cairo for the same price range.

Facilities: InterContinental after all, everything is fine Hygiene: very clean Environment: We stayed in a room by the pool. There is a small balcony in the room, and the view is very good. Service: The hotel service is good, but the front desk is not very effective. I don’t know if it’s Ctrip’s problem or the hotel’s problem. The room was booked one day in advance, but the front desk here couldn’t find our order, so we insisted on waiting at the front desk for one Hour. I think it is because of Ctrip's problem that the order relationship has not been confirmed with the other hotel! This experience is very poor, and the waiting time is too long.

I love Hilton and tend to stay at them due to status but this one my goodness. The hotel looks so  nice on the inside you arrive go in the Lobby and its like wow but  the outside look especially  by the pool area looks terrible. The only good service we had at this Hilton was Martina Naeim whom  emailed us before coming to this Hilton she helped by accommodationing  us with early check in. The check in desk isn't really traditional  its just common deskz which throws you off.  Ola was our  front desk person and she waa great and  helpful she  explained the policy and procedures as we checked in early from the airport, dropped our luggage in our room and went for an excursion for the day. We got back around 3pm and went to the pool area. As soon as we got to the pool area some man with a life guard shirt started asking us about a $1 stated we owed money and to pay our bill.  We just back got to the hotel after our day excursion and we  were only here for one day so we were supper confused and this interaction and the man never came  back so it left a sour taste. Next  after this experience we wanted beer from the pool bar which for some reason  the bar was out of most of there beers. We did get one and hung out by the pool area but 20 mins after getting our beer the bartender  comes with a check stating he is closing in 20 mins so we asked for another one which he got one and we signed the checked. We thought that the area must close soon. It started getting loud in the pool area due too 2 weddings in the area.   Well 30 mins after the bartender  brought out the 2nd beer this  same bartender walked  back and forth asking if we wanted another beer. We assumed he be closed by now since he told us he be closed 30 mins prior so we were definitely not gonna order another one as we were upset that he lied and then the pacing back and forth was not very pleasing. Plus the noise from both parties began  to make it unbearable  to be outside. Definitely don't get a room facing the pool this was terrible.  Two  weddings were going on outside and the pool area was not relaxing so went to our room. This was even worse the noise from both parties made the room vibrate and was so loud, it was very hard to get sleep.  The good about this place was the lobby which is gorgeous, the beds were super comfortable and I loved having the complimentary airport shuttle to the airport every hour.  But this is not Hilton I suggest. No shuttle service from airport, no complimentary breakfest bags(we had early flights so didn't get to enjoy breakfast), and no happy hour deals. Not a place I would come back to. Hope they come back with Hilton standards.

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.

This hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel. The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city. Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT. They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE! The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK. The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc. I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. She was very proffesional, helpfull and made our stay comfortable.

A wonderful stay with a caring professional staff. The location is also amazing, walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, Zamalek, and Tahrir square. My wife and I had a quick, 24-hour layover in Cairo and wanted to see the pyramids and sphinx and relax before a long trip home. The Four Seasons delivered in all possible ways. Concierge arranged to pick us up at the airport (flying in from Sharm El Sheikh) and then checked us in to our room, all before 9:30 am. We then had time to freshen up, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, and then meet our driver and tour guide for a trip to the sites. Our driver for the tour and also for the round trip to and from the airport was Mohsen Ahmed, and he was wonderful. Our tour guide, Ash Saad Saghloul, was also outstanding. Both gents took very good care of us, didn't rush at any point, and left any additional side trips (for shopping) completely up to us. Had us back to the hotel early in the afternoon so we could relax. We then had an early dinner at 8, which was as good as reviews have made it out to be (and, yes, we had dim sum and Chinese food overlooking the Nile as our farewell dinner to Egypt). Our room was very comfortable and the views of the Nile and the Pyramids from our balcony made it all feel very special. All said, it was a perfect 24 hours in Cairo and just what we wanted. Thanks to all at the Four Seasons for making that happen and making it so easy and comfortable.

The staf where as usual more than excalante .. spicialu in the recption at the 29th. Floor . Madam hadeer ( هدير ) was very cooprative and helpfull . Also mr. Akram yosry( اكرم يسري) & Mr. Nabeel ..and all the 29th.+ 30th. Lounge staff . Also the pill capten scrvice spicially mr. Incredible service throughout the entire stay. The Deluxe King Room that I stayed in was even larger than I expected. I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family, their management sucks, zero customer service. I came from California for a week for my cousin wedding, I booked seven nights Though chase sapphire who uses Expedia, and after one night my plans changed. I contacted the hotel to see if I can checkout 2 nights early, they said your reservation was prepaid through Expedia and I need to call Them for approval, I called Expedia and because of time difference they couldn’t reach the reservation department that only operates from 8am to 5 pm. I was then told to call back during the hotel business hours, I called back the next day I was told by Expedia that they are ok with me checking out early but they will need to contact the hotel for partial refund. I was placed on hold then I was told that they couldn’t get hold of anyone from the hotel, they’ll try again and then they’ll call me back once they are able to reach them. I asked the front desk employees to please respond when Expedia try to call them and I was straight was lied to my face and was told that the this has nothing to do with the hotel because and it’s Expedia decision since I paid through them. Next day I called Expedia back to find out that the hotel declined early checkout credit, I asked to speak to a manger, the front desk manager lied to me again it’s not up to the hotel it’s up to Expedia not knowing that I already called Expedia and the customer service representative was reading the response from the hotel notes, I confronted the manager when he found out that I had Expedia on the speaker phone he asked me to mute them so he lie to me again and tells me whatever BS he needs without Expedia hearing it, very unprofessional big scammers.

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

The room is neat and clean, the restaurant is good, staffs are cooperative. Good to stay. The hotel is far from the city center, do shopping is not easy. The travel services to visit tourist spots provided by the Taxi booth of the hotel (named Last Minute travel services) was not up to the mark. The driver dropped me on the Egyptian museum and he was supposed to stay at the gate. But when I come back visiting the museum, I did not find him. Then I called him and he declined the call. I sent him message , he responded sending message after half an hour without giving any specific time of coming. I was puzzled, waiting and waiting. Then I was thinking to hire another Taxi. Finally he came after more than an hour. The services provided was also costly. I could hire a Taxi using the APP less than half price. On the way back, it was planned to take me a super store for buying dry fruits. But he did not took me to a right store. It was felt to me that he did it intentionally.

After a so so stay at the Sonesta I came to this hotel and wished that I have come earlier. Located on the 8th and 9th floor of an old building in the middle of downtown andv a mere 5 minute walk from the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. The staff are absolutely fantastic, polite, smiling, courteous. My room was a real find, spotlessly clean, beautiful comfortable bed, sparkling bathroom, Nubian furniture and a beautiful balcony overlooking the Nile and Tahrir Square. What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Staying at Novotel was a great experience, the hotel was nice loved my room!! Only few things I was disturbed how I asked for an iron & ironing board they kept taking it out of my room, when I needed it for my whole stay 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🙃!! Secondly the jacuzzi wasn't hot so I can enjoy on my last day of stay. Lastly there was no microwave in the room but a mini fridge??! Usually hotels come with both. Other then that the hotel was great, the food I had to adjust to & the front desk person that checked me in & out was awesome!! Great customer service.

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.
