I needed to stay here for a business trip. The good points are the consistently high quality of the St. Regis rooms, the abundant breakfast, and I loved the swimming pool. The downside is the location. The new capital city is so new; the nearest shopping mall is a 30-minute drive away, and because it's so new, even ride-hailing services are hard to find. The hotel only has two restaurants.

This Marriott hotel is located in Cairo Airport's Terminal 3, which is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk from the hotel to the airport via a dedicated elevator and skywalk. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but they were able to accommodate us without any extra charge. The staff in the lobby were all very friendly and helpful, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff available!

The Cairo Marriott Hotel has an old-money vibe and an excellent location in Zamalek's embassy district – it's quiet, relatively clean, and feels quite safe. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and all the gift shops and local specialty brands you could want, making shopping very convenient. Compared to the hotels I stayed at on the East Bank when I first arrived in Egypt, this one is much more convenient and comfortable. There's a subway station about a 10-minute walk away, which is great for getting to attractions like Khan el-Khalili – just three stops and less than ten minutes, much better than the hassle of a taxi. The room decor is an older European/American style, not very modern, but very clean. However, the Nile view from the balcony isn't as good as from hotels on the East Bank. I recommend ******* breakfast with your room, otherwise, it's $30 per person and not particularly lavish. The service was generally good, but there were some glitches. When I checked in, the key card didn't work, so I had to carry my luggage a long way only to find I couldn't open the door. I had to go back to the front desk to get it sorted, and they didn't offer any apology – classic Egyptian 'relaxed' attitude. Overall, compared to East Bank hotels, if I were to come back, I'd still choose Zamalek; it's just so much more convenient! Also, many people going to Marsa Matruh will visit Siwa. However, it's important to note that while Siwa is widely rumored to have a simple and honest local culture, there can be issues. I booked one night at Soléi old town, a hotel in the center of Siwa, through a certain platform. However, upon arrival, I was taken to another homestay-like place far from the hotel, with no hotel signage and terrible conditions. It felt like I was being scammed and was completely unsafe. The owner was incredibly despicable, knowing that the platform's ******* policy meant no refunds. He outright denied everything, wasting a lot of my time and disrupting my itinerary. Everyone should be vigilant when traveling, try to choose large platforms with refund policies and reputable hotels to avoid impacting your travel experience.

The hotel is very well located, the grounds are amazing, and the restaurants are good. There's a wide selection of dishes for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and try to resolve any issues. The rooms are clean enough and cozy. The furnishings are a bit old; I wish the hotel the best guests, success, and a little renovation.

Don't go in winter if there's no heating; it was 10 degrees outside and 15 degrees inside. During my two-day stay, the first day the warm water was around 40 degrees. On the second day, after I kept urging them, they finally fixed it to just warm enough, but still not hot water. The decor looks like it's 15 years old. I came here because it said it opened in 2019. The service was indeed good, so I can't give a bad review for that. However, I spent two and a half hours over two days waiting for repairs and service. In summary, it's a five-star hotel with three-and-a-half-star facilities.

What an absolutely wonderful experience I had staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully prepared. The decoration deserves a special mention - it is elegant, tasteful, and full of character. You can really feel that a lot of attention has been given to every little detail, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The residence is located in Zamalek, one of the most beautiful and charming areas of Cairo, and the location honestly could not have been better. The neighborhood has a very special atmosphere: it feels safe, comfortable, lively, and relaxing at the same time. The streets are always animated, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and beautiful corners to discover. There is something interesting everywhere you look, and it truly feels as though every street and every corner has its own story to tell. I had the pleasure of staying here for five nights, and I can confidently say that it became one of the highlights of my entire trip to Cairo. One of my favorite things about the apartment was the beautiful view of the Nile from the terrace. Sitting there and enjoying the view was such a memorable experience, especially after spending the day exploring the city. It gives the apartment a peaceful and almost magical atmosphere that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself. The location is also extremely convenient. Almost everything you could possibly need is just a minute or a few minutes away, whether you are looking for restaurants, cafés, shops, transportation, or simply a nice place to walk around and enjoy the neighborhood. Staying here made exploring Cairo much easier and more enjoyable. However, what made this experience truly exceptional was not only the apartment or the location, but also the amazing people working at the residence. I have rarely experienced such genuine hospitality. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. They genuinely pay attention to the smallest details and do everything they can to make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. A special mention goes to Mazen, whose name I remember, but I would also like to thank the entire team because every single person I interacted with was wonderful. They were always available whenever I needed something, always greeted me with kindness, and sometimes went far beyond what I would normally expect. Their warmth and willingness to help made me feel genuinely welcome rather than simply being another guest. Overall, my five nights here were an unforgettable experience. Between the beautiful and spotless apartment, the tasteful decoration, the incredible Nile view, the perfect location in Zamalek, and most importantly, the outstanding hospitality of the entire team, I honestly could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this residence to anyone visiting Cairo and looking for a place that combines comfort, elegance, an excellent location, beautiful views, and exceptional hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Cairo so special and memorable. I arrived as a guest, but I left with wonderful memories that I will carry with me for a very long time.

Everything was excellent, and thank you, Concorde Hotel, for allowing us an early check-in and a very late check-out. The hotel was secure, and they upgraded us to a renovated room! 😍♥️ I will definitely visit again, God willing.

The hotel is very close to Cairo Airport, about a 5-minute drive. I emailed them in advance to book an airport pick-up. After landing, I called the front desk, and a hotel shuttle bus was waiting right outside the terminal. The next day, I took a taxi to the pyramids, which cost around 250 RMB. It's a good choice for travelers on a layover.

The staff of this hotel was not good, At about 8 PM in the evening, the hotel front desk staff called the room and said that the hotel we booked only allows one person to stay. If two people stay, they need to add an additional fee of 70 US dollars. Very unlogic, so I leave my friend and I booked another hotel.but the facilities and environment is good .only their service is bad

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.
