Bocas Beachfront Lodge ★★★★

"Our stay at Bocas Beachfront Lodge exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the ocean every morning and being just steps from the beach made for a relaxing and unforgettable experience. The property has a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of Bocas del Toro. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the islands. If you're interested in surfing, this is an excellent place to stay. The lodge is conveniently located near some of the area's best surf breaks, making it easy to get out on the water while still enjoying a comfortable and relaxing home base. What truly made this place special, though, was the hospitality. The owners and staff created an atmosphere that felt warm, personal, and welcoming, making us feel more like guests in a home than visitors at a hotel. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Bocas Beachfront Lodge to anyone visiting Bocas del Toro. It was the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, outstanding hospitality and a relaxing island experience."

Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel ★★★

"Solo female traveler. Second time at Casa Acuario (second review). This stay was as great as my first. I am SO impressed with this property and Mandy's and JP's management of it. They really have thought of every detail and accommodations for their guests; they are always present; and they have a good-sized staff for just four units. Really, no detail is overlooked, including help with booking taxis, restaurants recommendations, allowing you to hang out on the deck etc., etc. Best of all, they have the most adorable dogs."
