The location is superb, right near Huangxing Square in the city center, so we could walk to many popular attractions. "Traveling to Changsha, I was so glad I booked this hidden gem of a guesthouse on Trip.com. Its prime riverside location on a high floor offers absolutely stunning views; during the day, you see the sparkling river, and at night, the city lights across the bank. I'm a light sleeper, and before coming, I was worried about poor soundproofing in guesthouses, but my stay was completely free of noise disturbance. A special thank you to the lovely manager, Ms. Hu, for her warm and thoughtful service. She not only prepared alternative room options for me beforehand but also meticulously wrote down a list of restaurants popular with locals in the city and recommended souvenirs to take home. What really stood out was how Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng from Siman (the guesthouse name) were at the front desk practically day and night, showing immense dedication and friendliness. They even proactively helped with laundry and drying, and folded it neatly before returning it. With beautiful scenery, excellent service, and a great price, our short three-day stay at Siman added wonderful memories to our Changsha trip. Thank you to both Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng!"

No. 14 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Changsha"The hotel's facade and lobby are rather unassuming and simple, but the rooms are incredibly spacious. They come with a long desk and chair, and a separate, generously sized bathroom with a large shower. The shower heats up quickly with great water pressure, and both the overhead and handheld showerheads work perfectly.
The hotel is part of the Xiangying Film City, not a standalone building. However, the windows face an inner alleyway rather than the main road, making it quite quiet. It's a bit far from Shazitang Station on Line 4, but closer to Dongtang Station on Line 3. Downstairs, there are many noodle shops, making dining convenient, and food delivery robots can bring your orders right to your room.
The restaurant is very attractive with excellent natural light and a long communal table. You can get freshly cooked noodles there, and they taste great.
Overall, considering its proximity to Huangxing Square (just three subway stops away) and the incredibly affordable price of just over 200 yuan per night, this hotel offers excellent value for money."

"SEE PICTURES BELOW TO FIND THE HOTEL!
When I arrived it was dark and heavy rain. I had very big problems finding the hotel since I followed another guests review where they uploaded a picture of the wrong building. I contacted Trip.com support and I hope they removed it by now. This is not the hotels fault!
The hotel was clean and orderly. The location is great and the receptionist was super kind! There is also a washing machine. Next time I come to Changsha I will definetly stay here again. Very good value for money."

No. 2 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Changsha"I've been to Changsha for business many times, and usually, I just pick an affordable, cheap hotel since I'm alone. This time was different – my whole family was with me for our first stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money. I'd called ahead because my son has allergic rhinitis and I wanted to ensure a good environment for him. When we arrived, the front desk told me they had specially deep-cleaned our room, including dusting hidden corners and under the beds, and even prepared a little gift for my son. I thoroughly checked the room when we got in, and I was quite satisfied. My son didn't have any allergic reactions during our stay.
The food here is pretty good. I recommend the freshly made rice noodles at breakfast – the bone broth is delicious. My son can't handle spicy food, so this was perfect. Plus, there's a rice noodle street right next to the hotel, and it's very close to Wuyi Square, so transportation is super convenient. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling together."

"I arrived at the hotel quite early in the morning. The front desk staff were very accommodating, offering tea and candy. They also promptly arranged for housekeeping to prepare my reserved room, and I was able to check in around 9:00 AM. The hotel was easy to find using the directions provided. Since I checked in so early, many rooms hadn't been vacated yet, so I ended up in a room without a window, which felt a bit damp. If that's something that bothers you, I recommend mentioning it to the front desk in advance. The area around Wuyi Square has plenty of food options and is very convenient for transportation. For local restaurants like 'Ben Luobo,' don't be deterred by the long lines; you'll get seated surprisingly quickly, usually within 30-40 minutes at most, because they turn tables over very fast."

"The hotel's location is excellent and super convenient for getting around. The lobby has a great vibe, and there's a convenience store right on the first floor. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly warm and attentive – their service attitude was absolutely top-notch, truly amazing! The room was spotless and well-equipped. It’s perfect for families with kids; there are toys for children and even kids' toiletries! Seriously, so thoughtful! Everything in the mini-bar is complimentary. If I'd known they provided Changsha soda in the fridge, I wouldn't have bought my own drinks, haha... There are no charged items, and they even have staff who wash your clothes and return them to your room daily – that's just fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changsha!"

"We stayed here for two nights and were quite satisfied with everything. We had two double beds, and the child slept in one bed by himself. On the first morning, the child had several noticeable bumps on his body. At first, we thought it was mosquitoes, but by the second morning, it had gotten worse. One bump would appear every now and then, and by tonight, the child had at least 20 bumps all over his body. But it's definitely not mosquitoes; we don't know if it's flea bites or bed bugs."

It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and you can take Line 2 directly to Wuyi Square and the South Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient and stress-free. They even offer complimentary warm congee in the evenings. My overall experience was absolutely perfect!"

The unexpected highlight of this trip was actually the hotel. The room offered a stunning view overlooking the city and the Xiang River, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The service was thoughtful from check-in to check-out, which made traveling solo with three kids much easier. A special thank you to Xixi at the front desk for being so friendly, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. You truly made us feel welcome. ❤️"
