The St. Regis Chengdu

We rented two rooms, as they do not have a family style suit. Overall, the place is located at the center of the city. Very convenient with shops and restaurants at walking distance. The hotel seems to be bit aged, but well maintained.

Good customer service and standard room is big. Enjoy my stay in this property. 8 mins walk to Chunxi Road and IFS .

A gem of an hotel superbly located near Tianfu Square, People's Park and not far from Wenshu Yuan Monetary. Special mention to Pavel the Head Buttler who went out of his way to help me locate a cigar lounge. Great amenities, rooms. Superb experience

Excellent level of service and amenities as you would expect for a 5 star hotel. We spent 4 nights here. Really great attitude from all the staff. I wasn’t happy they requested a full deposit on top of the Trip.com deposit, but the manager spoke English and gave a fair compromise. The hotel is showing signs of ageing now (Feb 2024), but everything important seemed very clean and well kept, towels were plump and bright white, bedding also, kettle, coffee machine and utensils all spotless. Great to have a Nespresso machine; they give you 3 capsules a night along with some good tea. The breakfast was excellent, and they kept the coffee flowing, but note their advice about timing because you will be queuing after 9am. There were two negatives for us: the bed was way too soft, and the room temperature was too warm on the lowest setting (in winter), so we didn’t sleep well. Overall, considering we only paid 899 a night, we thought excellent value, but if we were to stay again they’d have to offer another room with a firmer mattress.

The standard bearer of a five-star hotel. Great location combined with luxurious rooms, well-maintained facilities and impeccable service. Wish other "five-star" hotels in Chengdu could measure up to expectation set by this establishment.

One of the best hotel experience definitely. The location is very centralised. Hotel staff were very responsive to all the request. Hotel room is spacious, the bed is extremely comfortable. We will definitely book again next in Chengdu.
