Never have I thought of leaving a comment for a hotel. But this one. ( or may be this is just a very standard service for hotel in china ? ) Cheng Du is comparatively cheap, so taxi is the only transportation I used, location for this hotel is great for calling & locating. Food, near by has a quite famous Chinese noodle shop, and it tastes really good. Day time nearby has a lot of choice within walking distance. Night time, just right across the road , a few hawkers are always there, okay price, okay quality, but at least there is street food option right in front of the hotel. Takeaway delivery. Since the location is quite centre, so plenty of choices within 30-40mins. For introverts, there is such a sweetheart service that, the driver will drop the food to the hotel robot, key in the room Number. And then the robot will come to your room door. The phone will ring, but it is a robot calling you to open door too! (Basically you can ignore the call, just take that as a door bell) Completely no human contact or communication. Well executed! 24hr self service washing & drying for free! Cheng Du is full of red soup, spicy oil, hot pot. Either we are too careless , or the hotpot smell is staying on your clothes, you can always go up to wash n dry. There is also a colour absorb paper for coloured clothes washing tgt with white clothes. Very thoughtful! The staff at the reception are always super helpful and smiling. Never felt annoyed by how many questions we asked. Especially we don’t know much how this city runs, like taxi, ordering, direction, airport, umbrella. They always come with a staff serving you tea or water at the lobby area. Basically every staff are nice!

Always happy with Mercure hotel chains. I've enjoyed my stay here and hotel location is great! Room is comfortable and there's a parting gift from hotel.

Hotel is well located close to shipping malls and shops along the street. Breakfast is acceptable. This hotel provides free afternoon tea for all tourists or you can also exchange for a scoop of haagen dazs. As our flight was evening 6pm and hotel allowed us to checkout later instead of the usual 12noon. We also received surprised check out gifts from the hotel. 2 lovely panda softtoy. It was a pleasant stay at this hotel.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, Mia at the front office greeted me with a warm smile and unparalleled hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable also her attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly stood out. The hotel's prime location near Taikoo Li added to the convenience, making it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu! Hotel service is excellent, miss Huang (as hotel Reception), answers a lot of basic information that we asked as we are foreign travelers in China. We are most glad for her support and attentive care. From helping us to get laundry washed and dried, arrange for early check in and late check out, and also give a few tips on which place to eat and what to pay attention to during our holiday time in Chengdu. Also, as parting give, hotel give us a cute panda doll We are most happy during our stay there, thanks Miss Huang and all hotel staff

Overall the hotel is recommended, services are good, staff very friendly, room was clean, only the location of the hotel is a bit far to TaiKooLi. But the experience was very good. There are a lot of stall food opposite the hotel during midnight time. There is also a 7-11 opposite the hotel, so it is very convenience for traveller.

I book extra room for me and my friends, a bigger room to stay together, nice place clean and big room. .
