Chicago Getaway Hostel

I really enjoyed my stay here for a quick weekend getaway, pun intended. Close to a lot of eateries and bars, convenient location and great price. Will definitely stay here again when I revisit Chicago.

The hotel canceled my reservation. They left 10 people without a place to sleep. They didn't mention any issue when we dropped our bags off in the morning. The front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

房間在三樓，衹給了一個單子，電梯非常繁忙和慢，不讓做飯，許多人就用微波爐煮方便麪，距離車站很遠，洗澡的水像眼淚，

作為青旅，算還可以，但是床沒有簾子，私隱性較差，下鋪空間非常矮，是坐不起來的，衹能躺下，儲物櫃需要自己帶鎖，前台服務參差不齊，同屋的兄弟被扣了兩次錢，而且那個需要到付的税金是按天算的，不是攜程顯示的數字。走到地鐵要10-15分鐘，贏在位置是富人區，比較安全。牆很薄，隔壁説話可以聽的很清楚。早飯很一般，但還可以吃吃。青旅嘛，不能要求自行車🚲

性價比很高

The beds are not comfortable at all. The showers are way too small. No privacy, so just hope youre the only one in the nathroom at tue time. Theres like a drain right infront of the ahowers and it smells so bad.

I was not aware that this mostel is for out of state residents of IL only. It does not state that on their website. I have submitted a copy of their email to me stating that you will waive any fees. Perfectly clean, friendly, ecologically sound. The building is safe and has beautiful character. My room had a fancy window and a fireplace. It does not look like a typical hostel.

I was in town for the Bears game, on game day Lyft/Uber was going to take too long, so I asked the front desk how else I could get there, he suggested the train, now being from South Carolina we don’t have trains, lol, I asked if it was safe he said yes but do not take at night. He gave me very good directions on where to catch the train, I made it there and back, safe. He also gave me directions to the local restaurants down the street. The hotel was in a VERY nice neighborhood. When I did need Lyft, they were there. Hotel was really cool. I stayed in a single room by myself, it had a bathroom but no shower. The showers/restroom was “dorm”style “, very clean. I would definitely stay here again. 👍👍 up!!! I’m so sorry I don’t remember the guys name, but he was awesome!
