We stayed for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago (2 adults and 1 child) . Staff at check in were lovely we left our bags and shown where to go for lunch. There are two restaurants to chose from. I live here and work in hospitality myself and we take mini breaks often before high season. The buffet was one of the best we’ve had on the coast in terms of quality,presentation and quantity . There was a varied menu with many options each night to suit different palettes and dietary requirements . We had some lovely fish and meat options and there were plenty of chefs cooking them to order fresh at there stations. They also had the basic staples like nuggets,chips qnd pastas with different sauces every night for difficult eaters . The children’s entertainment was fantastic and there was so much for small children and teens to do. My son loved the water games they had with the inflatables in the pool and they also had lots of wellness activities for adults throughout the day.Beach is lovely but it’s rocks not sand on the shore so water shoes would be avisable for children . The kids water park with slides is great fun and my son spent most of his time wanting to go there when he didn’t take part in the kids club ,the quite pool is a great feature and nice to go to when you’ve had enough of the entertainment. I took one star off because of the situation regarding sunbeds. We only got a sunbed on the last day of our stay . There were lots of sunbeds left up to 2/3 hours with just a towel on and not much more and towels on beds from early morning before breakfast.There was no room to put a towel down either so to watch my son I had to stand by the pool when we werent in with him as we had found a spot under the trees to put towels on the grass but couldn’t see the pool from there . We queried this with the lifeguard who was lovely but said the hotel had no rules in place regarding this and he suggested we spoke to the manager which we did and it was quickly handled and they found us some Sun loungers . I would suggest maybe for next season they apply some rules regarding Sun loungers . All in all it was a lovely stay ,we would stay again and all staff we encountered were lovely ,well mannered and very helpful.

It has been a wonderful stay at General! One thing I did not like, that when I arrived I had a photocopy of my credit card in front and behind. It would have been enough ahead and the truth, it is very delicate that the card numbers go around there in sight ..... Otherwise at reception, both day and afternoon the phenomenal treatment. Special attention to the people of the Bar who have always been attentive to the welfare of the client, having incredible details when one day I arrived late and did not know that the snack was closed and they provided me with dinner even after being closed. This was very much appreciated! Thank you very much to all !!

The biggest defect is not being able to smoke anywhere in the facility, and the food and cocktails are not up to the level of a hotel like this, otherwise to disconnect with the pool and the high-quality service and room

On arrival the hotel looked lovely. The pool is the best part of the hotel. Had activities during the day in the pool and by the pool side. Only had breakfast included however was pretty descent and a lot of option. Pastries were fantastic. On the other hand the hot food wasn’t hot. The few let downs are the staff are incredibly rude towards us and a few other couples we had met. Didn’t speak much English to also very difficult to order food or drinks. It was a shame about entertainment as no one spoke a word of english. Our rooms AC was very poor. Didn’t work well at all. Our room also needs a revamp as it’s looking old and worn. The bedroom door didn’t shut properly.. most of the sun beds by the pool side was broken. Had to try and find a few that wasn’t. The cleaning staff didn’t at all clean our rooms. The floor hadn’t been hoovered or swept the whole time we was here. We left a bit of rubbish in the middle of the floor each day to see if they would clean and they didn’t. Even our bed wasn’t made properly. There was dust in places that should have been cleaned prior to coming. In all honesty I wouldn’t stay here again. Our time was ok but I would definitely want half a refund for all of the problems!

Paid for club premium suite as per the picture on their website. Four poster bed, lovely terrace for our wedding anniversary. What we got was no four poster bed, the smallest terrace I have ever seen. You practically have to climb on the table to get to the chair it is that small. In fact the superior rooms which are not suites have bigger terraces / balconies. When we complained we were promised a suite change to the 4th floor (bigger suites) on our 2nd day. We told the hotel we would be out for the day and not back until 9:30pm. They told us the room would be available. When we got back to the hotel they had given it to someone else, no apology, just “nothing we can do as not available”. Appalling customer service. Club premium suites are not the same as the pictures on their website and as they vary in size. The website is very misleading and this suite is not as advertised. Suites also give you the use of a “premium” pool which only has 8 sun loungers (not enough) and is certainly not “premium” by any standard. We are still here for another 3 days but would not recommend this hotel, they are very disorganised and the customer service requires significant improvement. Pictures attached for comparison.

We booked very last minute, 48 hours before we arrived. The location suited us as we knew the area very well. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis, we only had breakfast twice, however it was good, a good selection of hot and cold items, pastries and fruits too. The room was more than adequate for us for 7 days, and I am known to be fussy. Double vanity area in bathroom was really useful, it had everything we needed. Towels changed daily/when needed, same as sheets. Housekeeping were very good and the balcony was a good size with nice furniture. Pool area was fine, but we were early in the month so can imagine it gets busy. Bar serves on weekends only, again that may be a late April early May thing. Staff are all friendly too. Parking is 15€ a day but there was plenty of free on road parking in the area, so we didn't pay once. You can walk to a few places, including a supermarket, restaurant and bar but would suggest a car to explore the area and there are so many nice bars and restaurants within 5 min drive. Would recommend and return.

Family stay, 8 nights. Lovely modern apartment - stayed block 5, 2nd floor Pool was nice, complex clean and tidy Will return without hesitation After check out we realised we left a necklace on the safe - which was quickly located abs returned to the office by the cleaner 10/10 for honesty.
