Breakfast is simpler and coffee is good. The location is close to the Vatican and the security is good! Castle-style room for those who have a dream of living in a European castle. The service is quite good. The taxi that the hotel helped to call quickly was very formal. Come to Rome for a hotel to choose from!

When the epidemic was the worst, I checked into this hotel. Two cases were found in Rome at that time. We went to breakfast. Some foreigners saw that we all pulled up turtleneck sweaters, but the hotel was very kind. Not only did we not abandon us at all, we also took care of us. Very courteous every time, the room was very comfortable, the mini bar was free, which surprised us a lot. We walked everywhere except the Vatican. I had to take a bus at the door. The breakfast was delicious. We ate for 4 days and highly recommend it. !!

Before we went to the hotel as the first commentator, we were also worried about the hotel's good or bad. Because there were no commentators, it was a new hotel for several months. The room was still available for small suites and 2 bathrooms. A total of 30 square meters in one bedroom, I have never been to Rome before, and I don’t know what other hotels are like, so I can’t compare them. The hotel lobby is basically the same as no, but it does not affect the room. It is close to the wishing pool of 500 meters. Also prosperous

The hotel is located directly opposite the Rome Opera House and is very close to the main attractions. Within 15 minutes on foot, the transportation is convenient, shopping is convenient, breakfast is OK, the hotel is decorated in a combination of Chinese and Western, a family of three rooms is not small, very comfortable, simple toiletries There is a hot water bottle, I will choose it here next time.

Where I stay when traveling is as important to me as where I am going. That is the difference between being a tourist and a traveler. When I travel, I search out family run bed & breakfasts and or small boutique hotels. Why? The people. People make the difference. On this trip to Rome, I was traveling with my father. I was looking for a small boutique hotel in a quiet location but a location from which all of Rome is easily accessible by walking. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect property than Hotel Monte Cenci. Located on the Via Beatrice Cenci, a quiet location just one block from the Tiber River, and surrounded by gorgeous buildings with window boxes spilling over with geraniums, the Hotel Monte Cenci is a livable work of art. Designed in a historic palazzo this 30-room hotel feels more like a stay in a beautiful private home. Entering from Via Beatrice notice the two story marble lobby flanked by book cases which run the length of the lobby behind the reception desk. You will be greeted as though you are a long friend coming home for a visit. At the south end of the lobby is a magnificent 2 story window that allows light from the lobby to flood into the hotel bar. Just a few steps down from the lobby is a reception room and access to either the elevator to your room or use the stairs. We utilized the stairs. The bedrooms are generous in size with plush bedding, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms (some bathrooms have marble sink tops from historic hotel in Rome), casement triple glazed windows with views onto the surrounding buildings and streets in this quiet enclave. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. In the afternoon the terrace with its lush plantings and awnings is a great place to escape for a quick nap or down time reading a book-also great in the evenings for a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz. The location is perfect. Every attraction is walkable and the best way, and only way in my opinion, to see Rome is to walk. Rome is an open-air museum full of art and architecture and history. Stroll down streets, take the alley way, follow the delicious scents, and discover a small neighborhood osteria or bar. Shop the shops away from the large tourist attractions. Discover a fountain in a piazza and take the time to see Rome, truly see Rome. The beauty of staying in a small boutique hotel is that the people at the hotel will also share with you their favorite places to eat, shop, sip and walk and share historical tidbits. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the people at the Hotel Monte Cenci are. They are kind, informative, helpful, funny, welcoming and feel like family. Whether first thing in the morning or late in the evening I looked forward to every interaction with all members of the staff. They make you feel as though you are a family member visiting. Nice hotel, clean, tidy nicely kept. Was bed & breakfast & was good from start to finish! Family room for 2 but still had plenty of room to move. Amenities in the bathroom Good breakfast lots to chose from Bar was good also, gym availability however did not use this was only a 2 night stay

I ’m not staying in the Checkin building, but it ’s very close. It ’s about 100 meters. The room I ordered is relatively small, but it ’s relatively new. It ’s clean. The bathroom is very small. It ’s difficult to stand for two people. They are all delicious ~ The hotel is in a good location, just 2 minutes walk to Plaza de Espana ~ It is also very convenient for shopping, I am chanel 10 meters next to the building where I live ~ We bought a direct train from Rome Airport to termini train station, 40 minutes To ~ and then freenow called the car to the hotel, about 9 euros ~

The Maalot is a total standout gem and my favorite hotel in Rome. Everything is impeccable, from the central location right by the Trevi fountain (which I love passing by and saying hello to every time I leave and return to the hotel!) to the gorgeous rooms with unparalleled design, and the outstanding hospitality where every team member truly goes above and beyond. Housekeeping was prompt, thoughtful, and seamless. Breakfast is a beautiful and attentive affair - and the F&B manager is so delightful and clearly has such passion for her work! It was a joy meeting every member of this incredible place, which feels more like a 2nd home to me than a ”hotel”. I love interior decor and design and so fully appreciate their decor which is beautiful and tasteful - modern with a nod to classic Italian styles. But what is truly unbeatable is the people - the entire team is so wonderful and helpful. I truly felt so taken care of and had an incredible seamless experience. I have been to Rome 5 times, and this was my 2nd stay at Maalot because they left such an impression the 1st time - and after this 2nd amazing return stay, they have sealed the deal and I will not be going anywhere else. They also wow'd my partner who I was so excited to introduce to the Maalot this time. I travel globally often and this is a very unique place. Of all the places we stayed all over Italy, this was #1. Special shout out and big thanks to Jonida the manager for taking extra good care of me - including an unexpected knockout deluxe room set aside for me, and snagging coveted sold out tickets to the Borghese Gallery! I can't wait to return again.

Brilliant hotel in a perfect spot for everything. Loads and I mean loads of restaurants, cafés, bars and gelatos beside it we were spoilt for choice. The hotel was clean, welcoming and very comfortable. Staff were extreamly helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was adequate due to covid restrictions and was more than ample to start our day. Can't wait to return next year.
