An absolutely amazing experience, we were treated like royalty during our stay! The Riad is stunningly beautiful and we were extremely comfortable and appreciative of the above and beyond hospitality. Especially enjoyed the rooftop dining. We visited several cities in Morocco however Fes was our favorite and we definitely will return to Riad El Amine on our next visit, it was a wonderful experience.

Comfortable, the location of the hotel is convenient for travel

Ah where should I begin.... Upon stepping into the hotel, we could smell the horrible odour coming from the tannery. We wanted to use the bathtub in our room for a bath. There was an issue and it needed fixing. Also the a floor tile near the bathtub was broken. We didn't know it and stepped on it. The broken tile flipped up and could have cut us. The reason given by staff was the previous guest broke it and they didn't have the time to fix it before our arrival. Well then we should have been told to be careful or just don't let guests stay in that room till it is fixed? When we told the sales manager about the issues with the bathtub and broken tile, he gave lots of excuses, that we didn't know how to use the bathtub and if we are sure the broken tile is in our room and not outside the room. Very unprofessional and the way he talked was quite condescending. I had to film the broken tile IN the room to prove that I was telling the truth. Hairdryer was also damaged. No house slippers in the room. Hotel said that they do not have a fixed menu in their restaurant. Completely understand but nobody told us the price of each meal at all! The worse situation was when my Mother asked one of their staff, Simehed, if he spoke English, to help us with a situation. He blatantly lied and said no. 2 minutes later he was speaking perfect English to another guest behind us. First of all, you never lie to your guests. Second of all, it is just a poor reflection on your hotel and you are known as a five-star hotel. After our stay, I called the hotel asking for the contact details of the General Manager as I was furious with Simehed's behaviour. The guy who answered said he didn't know his GM's contact details. How can you not know your GM's contact in a hotel?? After that, he said he was busy and had things to do and hung up on me. He continued to hang up on me two more times and after that didn't even bother picking up the phone. Karawan Riad, your hotel may have a five-star interior, but I wouldn't even give one star for your staff service. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and yours has the worst service. Very disappointing! You may want to retrain your staff or get better ones. The only person who helped us a lot during our stay there was a staff named Nezha. She was very professional and sympathetic to our distress and she deserves to be commended for it. And because of her, I decided not to give one star.

Breakfast is a local breakfast, see the picture, relatively plain. I like to eat meat in the morning so it is not very appetizing. The hotel itself is really beautiful, the official website said that the 13XX Pasha Palace was refurbished and refurbished. The hotel is located in the old town and is convenient to wherever you go. But the Old City is harder to find, so you must not miss the sign on the wall when you walk! Finally, in a digression, I encountered a small gangster who forced the way to lead money in the alley. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method. The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse. Woke up the morning before leaving and helped us pack breakfast.

There is a parking lot, and the breakfast is very varied. The room is oversized and the family is absolutely enough to live in. The room is very beautiful and comfortable.

Chain hotel, service is very good. The room I stayed in was just renovated and smelled a bit. The front desk helped me change the room overnight. The surrounding area is lively, there are complexes, McDonald's, various restaurants and banks within a ten-minute walk, and it is also very safe. The room facilities are exquisite and the area is slightly smaller.
