The place is clean and the service is good. Dining is average, no choice, only one restaurant and no other options nearby.

Extremely beautiful views and such a nice place to have lunch with friends, under the tree, with the birds singing and the waves crashing on the white sandy beach We had a warm welcome at the reception and Varun at the restaurant was the most pleasant, accommodating and provided us with prompt service. If you are looking for a casual place to have lunch, with an incredible view, this is definetely a place to visit La Mariposa is a true little gem

這個酒店硬件普通吧，感覺不值千元RMB。 離商場很近，旁邊一應俱全，周邊的路很好。可以看到印度洋的落日。圖中是我在房間窗口實拍的。 但是有兩個我覺得設計的比較奇葩的點： 1、浴室是部分無遮擋的玻璃設計，在外面的人可以透過玻璃看到裏面淋浴的人，對於帶娃的我，覺得有點尷尬，情侶可以忽略 2、廁所燈浴室燈是關不了的，衹能通過拔房卡斷房間電來實現關燈，很通透不關燈是沒有辦法入睡的。 關於這兩點，我覺得是存在着bug的，我認為應該有解決辦法，所以我兩次都打過電話和reception確認，這兩點酒店都回復所有房間都是一樣的，並不是單個房間的問題。 但是工作人員真是很好，他們幫我們訂車，幫我解決問題，都很熱情友好。

This is an excellent, inexpensive resort to stay on the East Coast of Mauritius. I loved hotel's activities and staff services. Whilst I wouldn't stay there on a honeymoon because it lacks the romantic atmosphere that some of the 5 starts hotels have ( luxurious flowers, etc) I will always consider returning for a holiday break. The waves on the East Coast are stronger comparing to the West coast, making swimming little bit more challenging, however the water is very clean. Highly recommended.

I stayed here two nights whilst doing some business up in the north of the island. The rate was excellent, the staff were very welcoming, room was exceptionally clean, the food was good thanks to a great chef, and all-in-all it was great value for money. Thank you to the team!

It was just magic. The hotel is beautiful, staff are in small care. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. It was the best hotel in Mauritius for us. I recommend!

The exquisite Maratim Hotel & Spa Resort in Balaclava, Mauritius is everything you could wish for and more. This is our second visit to this luxury 5 star resort and it just keeps getting better and better. The location, grounds and facilities are absolutely spectacular but it is the wonderful staff that makes you fall in love with the whole experience. From the management to the grounds staff, every one of them will do anything to make sure you are having the best experience possible! On arrival after the very long trip you are greeted by the wonderful concierge who whisk your luggage away ready to be transported to your room. The reception staff seat you in the lounge where you are offered drinks and face towels to refresh yourself, which is exactly what you need on arrival. We were then informed that we had been upgraded from the room we had booked which was a Deluxe Room to a Deluxe Plus Room which was on the ground floor looking out at gardens which leads onto the beach, Perfect! As this was our second visit we were keen to have a walk around the resort and hoped to catch up with some of the amazing staff that made our first trip so special and we were not disappointed. The first stop was La Marée Seafood Restaurant where we caught up with one of the restaurant managers Fabrice who not only recognised us but actually remembered our names! That is only one of the few reasons why Fabrice is not only a superb restaurant manager but an amazing human. Be sure to get to know him and his amazing team along with the fabulous Rakesh who shares the responsibility of managing La Marée. Their team of staff are meticulous in attitude towards making sure everything you need is catered for. Special thanks to Ishwaree, Sarita, Ashi and Dikshe, whom served us everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Of course every good restaurant is headed up by a team of chefs led by the spectacular head chef Soubhash. Chef Soubhash went above and beyond to make sure every meal was made with love. My partner is Celiac and Chef made some unbelievable Gluten free meals for her that put the UK restaurants to shame, honestly the bread, pasta, pizza and pastry dishes were like eating non gf meals! Believe me I tried all of them and I could not tell the difference! Above and beyond is an understatement for the time and effort Chef Soubhash put in to make sure my partner felt no different to eating at any 5 star restaurant. Thank you so much ☺️. We also ate at Anno 1743 and Château Mon Désir whilst at Maratim which are both fine dining to a tee. Both these restaurants are only open on specific days so make sure you book at the desk at the entrance of the Belle Vue buffet restaurant early. They are truly worth a visit not only for the special services and top quality food and wines but to embrace the history of the grounds they are both set in. Anno has a roof top bar called The Nest, which offers some beautiful views of the grounds and ruins surrounding the two top tier rest

After a wonderful 14-day holiday in Mauritius, it was a break. You can only find a low-cost place in the local area to prepare for long-term adherence. The level of the hotel is like home, but with kitchen and living room. The boss is Dutch and fat. The proprietress is a local black man. The two stayed in the hotel. For the first time, they forgot to buy salt for cooking, so they asked them to solve it. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and the facilities are average. The last time I left was at 11pm. I discussed with the boss and checked out at 6pm. I agreed very easily. Oh, there are two very small swimming pools in the hotel. The place is hard to find, there are buses on the road, but I haven't. I tried to go out once on foot. Although this is a good community by local standards, it still feels very deserted, especially at night. Finally rented a car.

Oberoi hotel is the best so far which I've experienced. It was my second time there, I must say it was a luxurious and splendid moment which my husband and I have ever experienced. No regret at all. Oberoi provided us a very good service on all the stuffs as we wanted. The anniversary decoration was superb. The pillows there are the fluffiest among all. Our floating basket for our breakfast was so well decorated and well settled which engraved my anniversary memories. Mr Navin the waiter took good care of us at the restaurant, so welcoming by other staffs, even thosle in the spa section. I've love the couple spa where we were so private and relaxed in the jacuzzi. we were treated so nicely with a high quality service like ' king and queen' that will always mark our special day. Thanks to Miss Tanya for a nice welcoming, to Nadhii for making the best to make my stay runs smoothly. Thank you oberoi and team.
