"We were visiting south Italy and our flights had an overnight stay in Rome. I ended up booking a room at Villa Alma for the night as it is close to the airport. The taxi from the airport dropped us at the entrance to the street instead of driving us to the front of the building. The driver was also rude and dismissive. It was late when we arrived. So about 10:30pm. Normally check in to Villa Alma closes at 9pm but the owner (Opi??) was waiting for us outside to guide us to the building. Since the taxi did not take us all the way to the door, we were not clear which building to go to but Opi waiting for us outside really helped. Opi was furious that the taxi driver was rude and also made us walk. When we told him what we paid for the ride, he told us he overcharged us and that was wrong. He said he was planning to go to the airport in the morning so he could drop us off as well. We went for a walk and had dinner. This is a nice neighborhood with a canal running through it. It has bridges over it. The view is nice. Also there are plenty of restaurants and bars open in very easy walking distance. We enjoyed our walk a lot. It seems this neighborhood has some festivals in summer so it might be good to go back. Anyway the room was clean, smelled good, well maintained and overall pleasant. We stayed at the room in the first floor (half a flight of walk up) Opi had a breakfast ready for us when we got up in the morning. He had juice, filled croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea etc. Overall I would say the breakfast was nice. He ended up driving us to the airport (along with somebody who works there) as he promised and refused to take money to make up for the bad treatment we had by the taxi driver the night before. We insisted but he refused it. Such a nice guy who made us feel good and happy to meet him. In general I prefer to not to write negative only reviews. But I made sure to write when somebody goes above and beyond. So in general this stay was definitely a good one."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely caring staff. The family rooms are perfect for a 5p family. Great location, great view. The swimming pool is very nice, the spa is gorgeous. We appreciate the restaurant in the evening with a à la carte menu. We could only but highly recommand this hotel."

"The Hotel was immaculate through out. The room was spacious with a small balcony and a view of the lake and Garda town. The room was fresh and contemporary with a large walk in shower. The room was cleaned every day and all the staff were very attentive. There are two pool areas. An infinity pool which is very cold and also another conventional pool that is kept warm. There is also a small spa and bike hire on the lower floor. The town of Garda is 1.5 miles down a steep hill. Although a car or scooter is not necessary it brings its advantages, if you are the exploring kind. We had breakfast every day in the dinning room. Which was the usual continental style. The hotel menu for dinner is, almost fine dinning and quite varied. There are quite a few places to eat in town, if you prefer. All together it was a lovely stay"

"Είχατε μια υπέροχη διαμονή σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο αλλά λίγο μακριά. Το ξενοδοχείο στάθηκε σε ένα λεωφορείο για την Γκάρντα, αλλά βρήκαμε ότι οι χρονοδιαγράμματα του λεωφορείου δεν ήταν επαρκείς. Το λεωφορείο κόστισε 10 ευρώ ανά άτομο. Αν ήθελες να επισκεφτείς άλλα μέρη της λίμνης, οι χρονοδιαγράμματα του λεωφορείου δεν ήταν ταιριαστό με τις χρονοδιαγράμματες της περσικής. Ωστόσο, τα τρόφιμα και το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου είναι εξαιρετικά και οι απόψεις είναι φανταστικές. " ζωντανή διασκέδαση ήταν επίσης πολύ καλή και η πισίνα και το τζακούζι είναι υπέροχα. Ωστόσο, οι οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά άφησαν τα παιδιά τους να αντιμετωπίζουν το τζακούζι σαν πισίνα, που δεν ήταν ιδανικό"
