Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Facilities: It had all the necessary amenities, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a razor. A small suggestion though: the hairdryer's power was a bit weak, which isn't ideal for long-haired women. Environment: I'm extremely satisfied with the room's location. Waking up early, I could see the beautiful Erhai Lake and the sunrise. A small suggestion for vacationers would be to have a speaker in the room for a better experience. You can also access the lakeside directly from the small courtyard behind the room. Service: They contacted me in advance by phone and WeChat to confirm my arrival time. My train arrived around 10:00 PM, and about 20 minutes before I landed, they proactively asked if I had arrived in Dali. The small buggy in the picture is also quite stylish.

I first heard about this place on Instagram and thought it was so beautiful. Its incredible structure is just as gorgeous when you see it in person. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. It was so cool because they had a machine that translates different languages depending on what you speak. This was the first time I’d ever seen anything like it and found it very helpful as I don’t speak Mandarin. Breakfast isn’t included but you can purchase their set meals for 37 yuan and have it while looking out at the beautiful courtyard. If you need train station transfer, you can easily ask for it for 80 yuan per way which made my check in and check out process smooth. They also allow you to try on their cultural costumes for free. If you need hair, makeup and photography services than it’s 499 yuan. As a solo traveler, I decided to try it out. They were very nice, however I definitely struggled with the very white makeup since I myself am very tanned. In their defense they did their best with trying to give me something darker and in the makeup room it seemed fine. But with the different lighting outside and the camera flash, when I got my pictures back I basically had a ghost face 😞 The foundation also wasn’t applied to my neck and arms, so it was very apparent. I’ve asked the photographer to help standardize my skin so hopefully that helps whenever it’s done. You receive a total of 9 retouches photos as part of the package. However, if you prefer to do your own makeup or are traveling with others then they can take pictures for you instead. The place is very convenient for finding restaurants and if you’re primary goal is the visit the old town. It’s very close by, so I was able to explore easily and then return to the hotel for breaks when needed. Lastly, you can use their laundry machines and get laundry pellets for free. Ideally this is great. But I will say the drying part is dreadful. The instructions say to do the 2/3 rule. However, even when I followed and put a small batch of clothes in it never dried. I tried once for 1.5 hours, then again for another hour, and still nothing. That was probably the only real part that was frustrating.

First off, the hotel's location is pretty central, roughly equidistant from the Ancient City and Erhai Lake, making it excellent value for money. It's super convenient that you can rent and return electric scooters right outside the hotel entrance. Taxis also drop you off directly at the hotel door. I'd highly recommend the electric scooters – they're powerful and fast, but do be careful! The hotel's interior, especially the garden, is very clean and elegant, and it has a really warm vibe. Secondly, the service here is genuinely outstanding. From the moment we arrived (we took a taxi directly into the underground garage, and since there's no elevator, a hotel staff member immediately appeared to help us with our luggage – super prompt response!). During check-in, they brought us tea and water, then personally escorted us to our room, explaining Dalian's attractions and local delicacies along the way. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Throughout our stay, whenever we went downstairs to the common areas, the owner was incredibly welcoming. We booked rooms with fantastic views multiple times; on clear days, the clouds over Cangshan Mountain are breathtaking. It was a very comfortable stay. You can just go downstairs, chat with the owner, have some tea, or simply relax – the pace is wonderfully slow and enjoyable. If I ever come back to Dalian, this is the only place I'll stay!

This guesthouse is perfectly located right by Cai Village Pier, offering stunning sunrise views directly from the room, along with a private balcony. Overall, it's very convenient and comfortable. Cars can't drive directly to the entrance, but the guesthouse arranges for luggage to be transported in and even carried up to your room. Similarly, at check-out, they'll help you move your bags back to the parking lot, so you never have to lug your own luggage around – a huge plus. The guesthouse has four floors, and our room was on the second. There's no elevator, which is something to keep in mind. The front desk is staffed until 10:30 PM, but they mentioned we could contact them anytime if we had issues. There's also a cafe seating area within the guesthouse facing Erhai Lake, which unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy properly. The staff were all very nice, and the service was excellent; they responded promptly to any questions. During check-in, they meticulously explained how to use all the room's amenities, which was very reassuring. The room provides disposable towels and bath towels, as well as basic toiletries, making it quite convenient. The room itself is a bit on the small side, but the bathroom has a heat lamp, which is a big bonus for anyone who gets cold easily. The air conditioning works for both cooling and heating and is very effective. The toilet also has a bidet function, which is a definite plus. On the top floor, there are two washing machines and two dryers available for use, though the equipment looked a little old. Breakfast offers either rice noodles or congee, which was decent but nothing special; the auntie serving it could improve her service attitude a bit. Overall, it was a good experience and a great choice for those wanting to see the sunrise and enjoy the Erhai Lake scenery. It offers excellent value for money.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I really wanted to give a good one. My friends and I commented that this guesthouse truly deserves to have been open for 10 years. First off, the scenery is beautiful, and the owner and staff are all very warm and helpful with any issues. My friend had an urgent work matter and was able to borrow a computer to get it done. I wasn't feeling well due to my period, and the guesthouse staff immediately provided an oxygen tank and made millet porridge for me. They also offer laundry and drying services, which is very convenient. Overall, the place feels very friendly and well-equipped in all aspects. The only minor drawback is that sometimes it takes a while to get a taxi.

Brought my parents to Dali for a relaxing getaway. The location is superb, right between Caicun Pier and Longkan Pier, super close to Erhai Lake. Step outside and you're greeted with breathtaking sea views – perfect for photos! The guesthouse service is incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and the owner is warm and reliable, making our stay very comfortable. There are also super cute little cats here, gentle and affectionate, adding so much warmth and a sense of healing. The breakfast rice noodles are absolutely delicious too! 😋

The room has a great view, you can see the sunrise right from the window without having to go out into the cold. The front desk gave us recommendations for activities and breakfast, and was always quick to respond. Very good.

The hotel is luxuriously decorated and the French style is in line with the contemporary young people's accommodation experience. I was worried about the fake sea view online. When I arrived at the hotel, I saw the Bohai Sea so close, and it was not blocked. I finally hesitated to land, and I finally didn't step on the pit. The butler service is very good. Maybe the rent of Shuanglang is expensive. I still like Caicun. It is convenient to travel. It is close to the ancient city. At night, there is a night market food at Caicun Wharf. There are many excellent singers on the beach to listen to songs. The room was really comfortable. There's a coffee shop on the first floor, and every day I'd order a coffee and just lie by the entrance, watching the sea. I felt like I could stay there for a week! You don't even need a sea view room, because you can see the sea from the first floor, and also from the rooftop. I asked the owner about renting an electric scooter, and it was great to have one each day to explore. Plus, the guesthouse is super close to the old town. At the end of the day, I just left the scooter at the guesthouse entrance and the owner would pick it up – very convenient!

The location is absolutely amazing! It's right by Cai Village Pier, and this time of year, there are seagulls, which is just beautiful. It's also incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise. The creamy, aesthetic design makes for perfect photos every time. The hygiene was impeccable, no hair or stains, and the 24-hour butler service was always on call. The experience was fantastic all around – highly recommended!
