Travelodge Derby Cricket Ground

Tha staff we're friendly very helpful. The place spotless. There's not a lot more I can possibly say but I'll be back and I would recommend this travelodge too anyone.

First room allocated and the tv didn’t work but staff kindly moved me to another room. Unfortunately the next morning at 8:30am there were workmen in the corridor replacing the ceiling tiles so there was loud hammering, drilling and sawing. The hotel manager refunded me 1 night stay but I don’t understand why they would use the rooms if there was repairs going on. Leaving the room I had to step over paint pots and tools.

The breakfast on the first morning was cold and food not very nice. Second morning we got thete when the cafe opened and it wS a lot better.

I stayed here with my partner whilst visiting friends in the area. The outside perimeter of the hotel is absolutely strewn with weeds and gives a really bad first impression, as do the filthy windows on the ground floor. The car park is free, but is used by visiting tradesmen during the week and some of them arrive in big trucks which take up five or six parking spaces. The reception team are friendly and helpful and our room on the top floor was clean and had what appeared to be a new carpet, As with all Travelodge's we have stayed at, the aircon was broken, the shelf that spare pillows are kept on is always thick with dust, the bathroom floor is never scrubbed, so when you use a bathmat it is black when picked up and all Travelodge toilets seem to be devoid of bleach and are stained brown at the bottom of the bowl, so we always bring our own bleach ! If attention was paid to the small details then this would be the perfect place to stay.

Ideal location not too far from Locko Park, got the added bonus of a view of the ground with an England Women's ODI! Great value, very clean and tidy, also nice and quiet for a good night's sleep.

stay here for a couple of nights for a business trip & what excellent service i’ve received from the team. The room was spacious and clean,visited breakfast in the morning & was greeted by Marie.I told my boss to book myself back into this hotel,thank you derby cricket

Fantastic stay at derby cricket ground,Checking was super quick,was greeted by Amy Pete & Sophie,Room was smelling, Great view from the rooms,love watching England womens cricket play Breakfast was spot on & two kids et free Thank you to all the staff

Best travelodge in derby all staff amazing Asha, Amy,Gemma, Keira very helpful brilliant food breakfast was great, best bed, very clean perfect size room very close to town centre, had perfect sleep , would stay here every time I visit derby

Highly recommended hotel in Derby,Staff are very welcoming especially Amy.The room was spacious and clean.Breakfast was cook by Marie,Lot of parking space and it free.Very close to Derby Town centre, 10 minutes walk,I would stay at this hotel again
