"Fairmont by the name only! I had been to quite a few Fairmont hotels and by far its a strangest one so far! Pros: - amazing staff - great location - great and convenient room service Cons: - Rooms are hit and miss! First room was humid, smelling really strange and outdated, but was replaced by better option - Food is a disaster! Buffet has very limited options, food is not tasty. Eating in the other restaurants on the premises didn't help. Ordered a sea food plate for lunch with two non alcoholic beverages just to get a stale, tasteless pile of mediocre food! Paid 285 aed for it( Just to compare, for the same money we had an amazing food experience in steik restaurant in umbrella beach, with wagyu beef tartar, chicken souvlaki and two salads, sides and drinks! - There is no place to enjoy evening entertainment. Only two small bars are open with limited options and long waiting time for service"
