"Staying at this four-star hotel, I had new and original experiences. Upon arrival, passports were not registered, the tourist tax was paid in cash and without a receipt, and currency exchange was not required. I found a standard room, but the window was blocked, the air conditioning was weak, and the cleanliness was adequate; I only managed to sleep because I was very tired. After a long journey in 40-degree temperatures, my first desire after being assigned my room was to take a long, relaxing dip in the pool. Unfortunately, after five minutes, I had to get out of the water because no one was enforcing the basic hygiene and behavior rules, despite the notices posted at the poolside. Everyone, absolutely everyone, entered the water without showering, including a large group of very sweaty and fully clothed North African women, in addition to the diving, splashing, and screaming of adults and children. At dinner, I discovered a new dish I hadn't heard of: grilled fish tails: but where was the fish? The rest of the food was also of poor quality; it was sad to see some of these items re-proposed for breakfast the next morning; otherwise, you could eat the desserts with flies. Drink prices are high. In short, this hotel is like fish: it might be very good, but if you only get the boney tail, it's just a disappointment."

"We spent there the night of New Year’s Eve, we were four in two rooms both were dirty (tents). One of the tents had a broken window, smelly blankets and with holes, the bathroom was scary to say the least and lots of ant nests, there wasn’t any kind of soaps and when we asked for it they brought us two little sample of just shampoo (no body gel or hand soaps) and the only towels they gave us were two hand towels. The other one had the A.C. broken and you don’t want to know how cold it gets at night. I usually don’t write many reviews but I had to make sure that people knew what they are going to find if they decide to go there. Dinner time then came… 100€ each for a “BIG NYE DINNER” that was a cold buffet with very few choices started at 7:30, by 8:30 everything was over, with no dessert. Of course the drinks were excluded and we wanted to drink some wine to celebrate (and to not think about all the disappointments) but they ran out after we ordered 2 bottles. I guess they had a total of like 7 bottles of wine. We tried to be positive and waited for the music to start since they built a stage to dance and wait for the midnight, unfortunately there were about just 10 locals having the time of their life and at 11:40 they stopped because they had to go celebrate somewhere else apparently.. basically thrown a party for them with tourists’ money. I save you the description of the breakfast. The owner of the hotel didn’t even say happy new year when she saw us, no attention to details, very poor customer service, no working WiFi and very expensive for Tunisian standards. We truly hope you don’t choose this place for your desert experience, you don’t even realize you’re in the desert because you’re in a sort of street where everybody can easily reach with their car. It was a complete let down from the first minute to the last. The only good thing was that we stayed there only one night, sadly it was a special night, being NYE."
