This hotel is located near Edinburgh Waverley Station. While not right next to it, it's still within walking distance. The room was very clean, and the towels were even neatly folded. The view outside the window was lovely. Edinburgh summers are cool enough that air conditioning isn't needed, but there were quite a few small flies, which was a bit of a nuisance. The only thing that could be improved is the elevator situation. The hotel is quite old, as are the buildings, so installing an elevator would be very difficult. However, the lack of an elevator made carrying luggage a real challenge!

I had generally a good stay at the Loft. It was clean, the sleeping pod was comfortable, I chose this place over their other location because of the kitchen facilities. The kitchen is really well equipped and the dining room/social area quite spacious. I want to give special shout out to receptionist Sigrid who was super nice and friendly. The downsides were: noise from the outside early in the morning and late at night - it’s the back alley of pubs and restaurants - deliveries, bins, loud people etc. But they provide good ear plugs for free so I slept quite well, providing that I fell asleep before the snore machine next to me. The other annoying thing was poorly fitting bed sheets that I had to constantly fix over the edges. And I think they should keep the kitchen door open whenever possible because it gets hot in there. And whoever is reading this: If you know you’re snoring like a tractor, so loud that even ear plugs don’t cancel that sound out - you shouldn’t maybe be staying in a hostel dorm with other people 🙃

The hotel's entrance is tiny, which is quite common in the UK, so it's easy to walk right past it if you're not paying attention. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent. It's close to two small commercial centers, making shopping and dining convenient. You can also walk to the old town. The hotel service is great, and the front desk staff are very friendly, especially since they allowed us to store our luggage for free after checking out on the second day. Additionally, the hotel's cleanliness and overall environment are good. Amenities include a hairdryer, simple tea bags, and coffee sachets. The bathroom provides shower gel and shampoo, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Hot water is available 24/7. All in all, it's small but well-equipped. The downside is that there's no elevator, which is quite inconvenient if you're older or have mobility issues, as you'd have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself.

The accommodation is quite a distance from the train station, more than a 10-minute walk. I wouldn't recommend it if you're traveling with elderly people. The room is spacious with one large bed that has an adjustable headrest, but the bed creaks every time you turn over. The other bed is an extra bed and isn't very comfortable to sleep on. The toilet and shower are separate, but the doors don't close completely. I wouldn't recommend it if you're staying with friends. There's no toothbrush or toothpaste provided. There are multiple USB ports. You can store your luggage at the hotel both before check-in and after check-out.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Princes Street and just a 3-minute walk from the bus stop. It's a tall Victorian house with both a bathtub and a shower. The front desk staff were very friendly and offered free luggage storage. They also provided complimentary fruit, coffee, and shortbread cookies at the front desk.

Facilities: It seems there's no swimming pool. The hotel has a very Scottish style, not luxurious but full of character in its decor. Cleanliness: Good, no dust or anything. Environment: Quite satisfactory, doesn't feel cramped or oppressive. Service: Most of the staff were very polite, making you feel right at home.

Absolutely amazing! The location for food, drinks, and entertainment is incredibly convenient; everything is right on your doorstep. The room facilities are very well-thought-out and user-friendly, with a spacious kitchen and bathroom – big thumbs up! The overall layout, space, facilities, cleanliness, amenities, and especially the location, are definitely 'value for money'.

Taking the Tram from Edinburgh Airport, I got off at Picardy Place and the hotel was right across the street. The location is decent; it's about a 10-minute walk uphill to Waverley Train Station. There's a Tesco right next to the hotel and a large shopping center about 200 meters away. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. I stayed in a top-floor room, which was just so-so (see pictures). A plus was the Type C charging port next to the bed, very convenient. The downside, at least in my room, was a sporadic vibrating noise during the day. It stopped at night, and I'm not sure what it was, especially since my room was far from the elevators. Speaking of which, there are two elevators, but only one serves the 6th floor. Breakfast was as pictured; the same items for both days, no variety. There was a kettle in the room. I was able to check in about half an hour early, which was nice.

Booked a twin room for a trip with the kids. The room was clean, no issues there, and the size is pretty standard for the UK. The bathroom was actually quite spacious, but the sink and basin design was terrible – especially the basin. It's a countertop basin with the faucet on the side (I don't usually take photos in hotels, so I forgot to snap one), and no matter how you use it, water splashes everywhere, all over the counter and the floor. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water; there's a message on the mirror encouraging you to drink tap water, which is fair enough. The tram station for the airport is very close to the hotel, but unfortunately, it was out of service on the day we were heading to the airport. We ended up dragging our luggage for about fifteen minutes to catch the Airlink 100 next to the train station.

The hotel is quite big and the location is very good, but the room we set may be cheaper, so it is arranged on the first floor, and the window is directly outside the road, so the curtains cannot be opened. And Edinburgh is exhausted from Chongqing, the front desk is actually on the 4th floor, there is no elevator to the first floor, the luggage has to be moved down, so it is not convenient. In addition, the soundproofing of the hotel is not good, and the sound of the bath water next door is very loud. There is also the door is big red, with the light strips by the door and the corridor at the door, which is very scary. . . There are character paintings hanging in the room, which is not very auspicious. . .

The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across from the view, and you can practically walk to Princes Street and most attractions. Shopping is also convenient, and the train station is just across the road, saving on public transport fees. The only downside is the number of stairs, but it's still a good choice for those who appreciate old-world charm. We stayed during the Edinburgh Art Festival, so the price was a bit high, and the breakfast was limited and simple. Nearby, you'll find Boots, Barbour, and Hotel Chocolat stores.

Choosing a well-known brand always guarantees quality. This was my first time seeing this type of shower faucet, and it was quite convenient to use – the best part is that it prevents your hands from slipping. Edinburgh is actually quite small, and all the main attractions are near Princes Street. Choosing the InterContinental offers great value for money. It's only a few minutes' walk to the train station. There are plenty of small restaurants nearby, so dining is never an issue. They even have paid parking right outside, which is a rare find for a hotel in Edinburgh.

Unforgettable views, but a disappointing bathroom The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view. We could see Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument and the city from our room, and the view was especially magical at night. It was truly memorable. However, although we had booked a regular Classic Castle View room, we were allocated an accessible room without requesting one or being informed in advance. The bathroom was disappointing: there was no shower enclosure or screen, so the floor became wet easily; the sink was extremely small; and the toilet did not even have a lid. There were also no slippers, toothbrush kits or combs in the room—only shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided. Overall, we loved the spectacular view, but the unexpected room type, inconvenient bathroom and limited amenities reduced our comfort.

Our trip to Edinburgh was very nice the room was massive never seen a room so big and it had a full size bath and had everything you needed no complaints they don't serve food and breakfast was served in a little cafe down the street and was very tasty we were there for the xmas markets wich I wasn't impressed with its all about the food now and no little trinket stores but the hotel was very good the beds were comfortable it was lovely and warm great location for everything lovely little place across from the hotel Rosa's Thai very good food in there and excellent service couldn't of wished for better

Very nice stay overall. The room in the Ribbon Building (main building) was spacious and comfortable, with a decent view from the 12th-floor rooftop — probably the best view of Edinburgh. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices, which made the mornings especially enjoyable. One downside was the room allocation process. The room we were originally assigned was different from what was described on Trip.com, and there was a big difference between the James Craig building and the Ribbon Building, which caused some delay and confusion at check-in. Service was mixed: some staff were extremely nice and helpful, while others seemed slow, a bit arrogant, and at times discriminatory toward Asians. The bars are excellent and offer a very nice view. Overall, the facilities and scenery are of 5-star quality, but the service and staff members are not yet up to the same standard.

Overall, I feel very inconvenient, so the stay is not very good. Because the hotel is very small, there are several rooms, no one after 5 pm and before 9 am, it is very inconvenient to coordinate things and store luggage. Moreover, because the water pipe was broken, it was changed to the hotel next to it without notifying the guests, which brought a lot of inconvenience, so I hope everyone is cautious.

I had a great stay at Premier Inn Edinburgh City Centre (Princes Street). The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The location is excellent – very central and convenient for getting around Edinburgh, with many attractions within walking distance. The tram stop for the airport is also just a short walk away, which made both arrival and departure extremely easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was quiet, and the overall value for money was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-connected place to stay in the heart of Edinburgh.

I was assigned a room on the lower ground floor, which was long and narrow. The heating was very poor; even with the air conditioning on full blast, it was still freezing cold. Everything else was okay. The towel rack didn't heat up, and it was inconvenient not to have power outlets near the bed.
