"We enjoyed our stay at the resort. However, the service in the restaurant was disappointing. We waited a long time for our food and even saw it sitting on the counter for about ten minutes while all three waiters were standing around, seemingly avoiding their customers. On another day, we specifically asked whether it was still happy hour before ordering drinks, and the waitress confirmed that it was. When she returned with the drinks, she told us that by the time she had gone back to the kitchen, happy hour had already ended. This was frustrating, as it was unclear why she would confirm happy hour and then refuse to apply the discount, especially since it was minimal. When we went to check out, we noticed some inconsistencies on the invoice. There was an extra dinner and drinks charged to our room that we did not order. When we pointed this out, the staff were unable to find a receipt for those charges, so we recommend double-checking invoices carefully. Apart from these issues, our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the pool was often occupied by many children whom we suspected were not guests of the hotel"

"We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights (should have been 4 but due to air Vanuatu cancellations was only 3) We had a 2 bedroom pool view room and for our family of 2 adults and 2 children it was great. Staff are fantastic, can’t say enough about them. They definitely make your stay extra special. Yes like previously stated in another review , there is a bit of stuff that is outdated or a couple of broken things, But does that affect your stay at all, No not at all. The included breakfast was good, bread is made on site therefore toast was delicious as was the banana bread. If you are expecting a big flash resort then this is not the place for you but if you want somewhere with a smaller amount of guests, fantastic staff and everything you need to have an enjoyable stay then you should definitely consider Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments. We will definitely be back."

"This is the 3rd visit to Poppys for me and first for my mates. We had 3 room villa which suited us just perfectly. The staff were super friendly as they have been every visit and the location is perfect to access everything. The only down 2 downsides are 1 (and this is outside the resorts control) is the dogs and roosters on the neighbouring property that woke us without fail everyday between 3 and 4 am. and (2) the food is average compared to a lot of other places so we chose to eat out most nights. The breakfast trays delivered to room each morning were great however missed the previous visits were it used to all be down in eating area and you got to mix with other guests. "

"I cannot comment on the accommodation but can on the breakfast l had there today. Let me start with the good. This is a wonderful venue for children with breakfast and great coffee served near the kiddies pool area. Kudos to management for the fun area. The staff are very friendly and try their best. Now for their breakfast. I cannot even begin to express my dismay. On paper the Big breakfast seems great on the menu. Eggs, bacon, toast, half a banana, some grapefruit slices and 2 sausages. The bacon was undercooked remaining pink and white, the fried eggs were hard and dry being over cooked, the white bread used to make the toast caused my husband's sugar levels to spike up in the high 19 area and the sausages were spicy preservative filled pieces of brown ooze encased in sausage skins. Everything tasted awful. The staff did kindly cook the bacon a bit more and were extremely nice about it. I did not have the energy to complain about the sausages and egg but ate it in boarding school style. I hope to see an improvement but l will only be having their great coffee there until the breakfast improves. Such a pity as the rest of the resort looks great."

Theres also a small spa.the hotel ataff are amazing. I loved everything about it except one thing which isnt their fault --- you cant swim in the lagoon!!"

"Μετά τον σεισμό 7.3 στο Βανουάτου μετακομίσαμε σε αυτό το θέρετρο, καθώς είχαν μια ισχυρή γεννήτρια που σήμαινε ότι η κουζίνα και τα δωμάτια είχαν ηλεκτρισμό. Αυτό σήμαινε ότι θα μπορούσαμε να προσπελάσουμε το Διαδίκτυο για να επικοινωνήσουμε με την οικογένεια στην Αυστραλία που ανησυχούσαν. Τα δωμάτια είναι ευρύχωρα και άνετα, η βεράντα κοντά στην κουζίνα έχει πάντα αέρα και η εξωτερική τραπεζαρία είναι τέλεια. Για μένα το καλύτερο μέρος ήταν ότι ο σεφ κατάλαβε τι σημαίνει δωρεάν γλουτένη!! Μας δώσαμε τέσσερα γεύματα χωρίς γλουτένη για 6 νύχτες, που ήταν θαύμα, δεδομένου ότι τα περισσότερα καταστήματα κλείνουν! Η Ανν και ο Πίτερ ήταν αξιαγάπητοι οικοδεσπότες, φροντίζοντας τους καλεσμένους σαν οικογένεια, παρόλο που είχαν πολλά να καθαρίσουν και ο Πίτερ έπρεπε να μεταφερθεί στη Νέα Καληδονία για θεραπεία για τραυματισμό στο κεφάλι 2 ημέρες μετά τον σεισμό."

Πολλά ωραία εστιατόρια κοντά και ένα μεγάλο σούπερ μάρκετ. Συν εύκολη πρόσβαση σε τοπικά λεωφορεία για περαιτέρω εξωτερικές μεταφορές. Οι υπάλληλοι εδώ είναι θαυμάσιοι και πολύ χρήσιμοι. Μεγάλη πισίνα, η οποία το προσωπικό εργάζεται σκληρά για να κρατήσει τα φύλλα ελεύθερα, παρά το γεγονός ότι περιβάλλεται από τροπικό πράσινο. Θα μείνει σίγουρα εδώ ξανά."

"It is a very convenient location to the Airport. The staff are constantly cleaning the environment. The management are not quite fluent in English, which creates a language barrier for effective communication. The food options are not great. I attempted to order one chicken dumplings meal from an outdated restaurant menu, but I was told that it’s no longer available. So, if you want better food options, it’s best to walk around town. Be prepared to give 1,000 VATU, for key deposit that would be returned upon checkout. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others!"

"I had been before COVID and I thought I got value for my money because it was right on the water with a sea breeze and I could cook my own meals. But this time I could only stay one night before I had to go and find better accommodation. My room was not ready for me, and the cell I was put into had big black moths flying around, everything was dirty and run down. The drain in the shared shower room was blocked with stagnant water. When I saw that there was no water in the pool that was the last straw and I paid for one night and left. "
