"I left from July 28 to August 1, 2024 in this hotel with my wife and my 4 children (15/13/10/4) Knowing the Fattal hotels and their level of quality, it was by consulting the reviews that I let myself be tempted by this hotel which seemed to keep all its promises on paper the positive points: the hotel is in my opinion well located because it is 5/10 min walk from the ice mall and 10/15 min walk from the tayellette with all its shops, so no need to take your car in the evening to go out As soon as you arrive the hotel has free parking for customers which makes it easier to arrive at the hotel The hotel is generally clean unlike other Fattal hotels in Israel with staff all day cleaning In terms of catering, this is pretty much the same thing everywhere in all-inclusive hotels except that I noticed an effort in the presentation of certain dishes in the evening as at lunchtime which was nice for a hotel or in general we only have the right to self-service Overall the meals were good with choice In terms of entertainment at the hotel in the evening there were always theme evenings which are only suitable for children under 12 years old sincerely The rooms are in good condition with everything necessary A very pretty synagogue with office every day without any problem from miniane the negative points This hotel has the particularity of having slides for children to have fun, so you have to explain to me why from 4:45 p.m. they close access to the slides ?????? especially since the swimming pool closes at 6 p.m.! and if you have young children it is impossible for you to take your child with you on the slide, this is refused so my 4 year old son was not able to go on the slide during the whole stay Regarding the entertainment in the afternoon around the pool the entertainment team offers about 45 minutes of entertainment with the children but nothing exceptional to entertain everyone, no inflatable structure on the water nothing of that so quite monotonous for my taste As is often the case in hotels in Israel there is always a group of Israelis who decide to disturb everyone (and I am still being polite in my remarks) and come with a speaker and bore us all day with their music at full volume!!!! Despite my complaints to a lifeguard nothing was done! Oh yes I forgot one morning at 8am the hotel managers let the workers cut the grass next to our rooms and being woken up by the noise of a lawnmower early in the morning is really unacceptable! Fortunately after several complaints from other customers they stopped but why don't the people who authorize this think for 2 minutes in their heads to say to themselves hey maybe it will wake up the customers to do this so early???? A big negative point in my opinion is access to the gym (SEE PHOTOS) To access the gym"

"Very good hotel with great staff and great service. The location is almost perfect (need to take a short walk if want to enter the sea). The main problem we faced was that there is almost never enough space in the hotel parking place but there is big parking space very nearby (3-5 minutes walk)."

"Disgraceful Conduct, Appalling Service – A Shameful Experience! We never expected such a humiliating experience after choosing to return to this hotel for the third time. All our positive memories from previous stays were erased in one weekend of neglect and shocking mismanagement by the hotel’s management. The hotel itself is rundown and poorly maintained – an unbearable sewage smell rises from the shower and air conditioner, the balcony deck is peeling, room service is limited, there is no cleaning on Saturdays, and guests are expected to replace their towels at the reception themselves. But the worst incident happened on the day of our departure. Before the official check-out time (12:00 PM), hotel staff entered our room without permission, threw all our belongings in the trash, and prepared the room for the next guests—while we were still officially staying at the hotel! When we returned and discovered that everything was gone, we approached the management—only to be met with disgraceful responses. Instead of taking responsibility, they called me a liar, claimed there was nothing in the room, and said, "The housekeeper saw you leave, so they were allowed to enter." When we demanded to know how all our belongings had simply “disappeared,” the answers we received were shameful: "There was nothing in the room," "You’re lying," "The room was empty." But when we mentioned that we had recordings, suddenly they "remembered" and returned our belongings—after finding them in the trash! And it didn’t end there. The attitude of the management was disgraceful. The manager spoke condescendingly, disrespectfully, and with complete disregard for us—even knowing she was being recorded! There is no justification for such behavior in a hotel that claims to respect its guests. To be fair, the hotel staff were kind and tried to help, but when management treats guests this way, no good staff can save the experience. Shameful service, total irresponsibility, and sheer disregard for guests. We will never return and will certainly not recommend this place—stay away!"

"Spacious clean room. Located close to the north-beach promenade. Generous selection of dishes at the dining room. Friendly staff. Cons: some staff members speak poor English, or Hebrew, or both. The hitel should put more effort to become vegan friendly."

"The hotel is outdated and not maintained. It is true that it is in a good location and in front of the sea, but beyond that there is nothing good. The food was terrible and recycled, unserviceable and unkind staff. Poor level of cleanliness... we thought it was a boutique hotel but it didn't feel that way at all."

"PROS * Gigantic magnificent international level and scale hotel * High quality and standards throughout * The most central location in the entire city * Magnificent adequate big rooms with couches too and desk * Many activities for guests * Abundant and excessive amount of varied food of good quality * Amazing open foyer with glass elevators to the 12th floor (see my "helpful" 👍 photos 📷) * The most elaborate decorated and gilded synagogue in the world (see my many "helpful" 👍 photos 📷) CONS * Busy and crowded in many parts of the hotel * Notably crowded in the dining room during the meals "I VISITED THIS PLACE"... ... as a long weekend retreat. It was a good room and the food was good. WAS IT WORTH THE COST? Yes WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN Yes ADVICE from IVTP For sure a good place to visit and a good quality experience in assured"

"We arrived at the Astral Palma hotel on January 11, 2024 almost at midnight, a couple + a 7 year old child, called during the day to find out if everything was ready and if there would be a reception at night. The girl confirmed that everything was ready, the envelope was in front of her. Upon arrival, it turned out that there was no sleeping place for the child in the room. The receptionist Dudu tried his best to solve the problem. But the shift manager met me in the lobby and said that nothing could be done, the hotel was full, and neither a mattress nor a bed could be added to the room. For some reason, I spoke very rudely to Dudu right in front of the clients, so that he wouldn’t promise something he didn’t. And he just went home. After a night with the three of us sharing the same bed, we left. I will add a plus for the work of Dudu and the cleaner, the room was incredibly clean. Well done, despite how busy the hotel was, they did 10 percent of their job."
