"1. My room has an excellent view of the hills! 2. It provided me with whatever I need.  3. Service is excellent; in particular, staff at the restaurant. 10/10.  4- On short notice, p.i.c. at reception even helped me to book a tuk tuk sight seeing tour of hotspots in and around Ella. Will surely stay here again should i be in Ella again."

"Truly one of the best homestays we’ve been in. From start to finish we have received the best and kindest service from Krishantha who made us feel at home and was always checking in if we needed anything. The room itself is spacious and has everything you need and overlooks a gorgeous view of Ella. Couldn’t reccomend more!"

"Stay away from this hotel! The hotel rooms isn’t what’s pictured on booking sites, the entrance is through a forest on a mountain and through other buildings. The walls is stained, door is leaking, and the room are nasty. The entrance pathway crumbled under me so a nail went through my foot and got several scratches. It is NOT a hotel, not even a bungalow. I would rather sleep with the homeless dogs than stay there one night. We checked out 30 minutes after we checked in. At least the manager was nice enough to give a full refund and drive us to another hotel."

"Το ξενοδοχείο είναι 3 αστέρων, τα θετικά είναι ότι τα δωμάτια είναι μεγάλα με μπαλκόνι με εκπληκτικές απόψεις (για μας ούτως ή άλλως), και η πισίνα είναι καθαρή και αρκετά μεγάλη, επίσης με εκπληκτικές απόψεις και ένα μοναδικό χαρακτηριστικό του νερού του ελέφαντα!!! Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου είναι αρκετά καλή - αρκετά μακριά από άλλες ιδιότητες για να είναι ήσυχη, αλλά αρκετά κοντά στην Ella main drag που μπορείτε να περπατήσετε σε 10-15 λεπτά ή να πληρώσετε έναν οδηγό tuk tuk διπλά το ρυθμό του Colombo για να φτάσετε και από. Το μεγάλο αρνητικό για μας ήταν ότι, παρόλο που μας είπαν όταν ελέγξαμε ότι το δωμάτιο θα καθαριζόταν κάθε μέρα, δεν ήταν. Και μου είπαν γιατί δεν παραδέχαμε το κλειδί μας για να το κάνουμε - που φαίνεται παράξενο μετά από μενού σε ξενοδοχεία για δεκαετίες και δεν μου είπαν ούτε έπρεπε να παραδώσω ένα κλειδί για να καθαρίσω ένα καθημερινό δωμάτιο. Η εντύπωση ότι ήταν δικό μας λάθος να μην παραδώσουμε ένα κλειδί (όχι ότι μας είπαν να το κάνουμε όταν ελέγξαμε) ήταν εξαιρετικά ερεθιστική. " τροφή ήταν εντάξει, αλλά υπερτιμήθηκε, έτσι έτρωγα αλλού (πολλή επιλογή). Υπήρχαν πολλά μικρά πράγματα στα δωμάτια που θα μπορούσαν να αντιμετωπιστούν εύκολα για να τα κάνουν πιο όμορφα - σίγουρα χωρίς να έχουν σχίσει παλιά πετσέτες μπάνιου και να αφαιρούν ένα άδειο τηλεοπτικό βραχιόλι από τον τοίχο (όπως ήταν εκεί τηλεόραση, αλλά όχι πια - ή ήταν μόνο το δωμάτιό μας, ποιος ξέρει) Όλα αυτά τα μικρά πράγματα προσθέτουν ότι πραγματικά πιστεύω ότι το ποσοστό του δωματίου είναι πολύ υψηλό - αλλά είμαστε εδώ στην υψηλή εποχή, οπότε ίσως αυτό είναι το ποσοστό που περνάει."

"Μας καλωσόρισαν θερμά με τσάι και σνακ μετά την επίσκεψη σε γειτονικές φυτείες τσαγιού. Είναι λίγο έξω από το δρόμο και πάνω σε ένα τεράστιο λόφο, αλλά θα στείλουν ένα tuk tuk κάτω για να σας πάρουν αν χρειαστεί. Ήρθαν μετά το σκοτάδι, έτσι δεν είδαν την θέα από την πισίνα του ατέλειωτου μέχρι το πρωί. Ήταν χαρούμενοι που μας κολυμπούσαν μέχρι αργά και μας συμβούλευσαν να κολυμπήσουμε στο 5.45am για να δούμε την ανατολή πάνω από τα βουνά. Είναι πραγματικά μια αξέχαστη εμπειρία. Μεγάλα, άνετα, καθαρά δωμάτια. Καλό φαγητό και αξιαγάπητο, φιλικό προσωπικό. Καλό WiFi στο δωμάτιο. Λίγο θόρυβος καθώς ήμασταν στο πάτωμα κοντά στις σκάλες και στο ρεσεψιόν και κάτω από το μπαρ. Αλλά, μετά τις 10:00 ήταν ήσυχα. Τη αγαπήσαμε."

"Flower Garden Resort Ella was an excellent choice with stunning views and a very comfortable stay. The staff truly stood out , customer service was top notch throughout. Manujaya at the front office was professional and highly supportive, assisting us throughout our stay. Lalith and Sampath at the restaurant were also exceptional, offering great food recommendations and always being pleasant and helpful. Overall, all the staff were kind, attentive, and made the experience memorable."

"Νομίζω ότι η αναθεώρηση μιλάει για τον εαυτό της. Είναι ένα 10/10 και οι δυο μας ήμασταν τόσο χαρούμενοι που μείναμε σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο! Έχετε έναν από τους καλύτερους ξενώνες, αν όχι τους καλύτερους ξενώνες που έχουμε συναντήσει σε αυτό το ταξίδι. Τα δωμάτια είναι καθαρά και άνετα και ειδικά η άνεση του μπαλκόνι είναι καταπληκτική. Παραμείνετε πραγματικά κοντά στο σταθμό του τρένου και μπορείτε να φτάσετε στον κύριο δρόμο σε 5 λεπτά αλλά είστε μακριά από όλο το θόρυβο και την κυκλοφορία στην Έλλα. Ό,τι μπορεί να συναντήσεις δεν είναι τέλεια δεν θα το προσέξεις γιατί είναι χαμένη από την καλοσύνη του οικοδεσπότη σου. Επίσης, ήμασταν τυχεροί που μας προσκαλέσαμε στις γιορτές του νέου έτους. Αν έχετε την ευκαιρία να μείνετε εδώ αυτή τη στιγμή και σας καλέσουν σε αυτό το γεγονός, μην διστάσετε να ενταχθείτε, γιατί ήταν υπέροχο να είστε μέρος αυτού!"

"We booked this hotel well in advance with an advance payment, which based on the request of the hotel. During the advance payment, inquired about the hotel access road for the vehicles, was possible and confirmed by the hotel itself. On the arrival day (16th April) we turned from the main road to the hotel access road and the drive possibility was limited to certain distance from the main road. We tried our best to take our vehicle up to the hotel even with the help of people were in around, was not possible due to the condition of the road. We contacted the hotel and reported this difficulty and unfortunately the option got from the hotel was, somehow take the vehicle up to the hotel. Since it is almost night, no body was willing to assist us in around, unless we walk up to the hotel with all the luggages and belongings. We made our last effort for some time to move our vehicle up to the hotel and we had to give up all our efforts finally. Since the hotel did not take any further assistance towards us, we had to to look for an alternative option to spend the night. We asked for the possibility of getting a shuttle service, was just ignored. Sad part is, still we did not get any favourable assistance or courtesy call to check our condition and this made us a really disappointment with the hotel. We never received such a negative behaviour and negative attitude from any of the hospitality properties. There is no refund for our advance payment even."

"We had a wonderful stay at Greenland Villa. It is perfectly located right next to the Kithal Ella train station, from which you can directly board the famous train that goes through the nine arch bridge. The property was beautiful, very well equipped with everything we needed including a great kitchen. It was clean, well ventilated, and more importantly it felt like home. The owner took time to decorate it with great taste. On top of that he was such a humble and polite person.Upon arrival he gave us a ride to get our groceries; another day he brought us his homegrown vegetables, which was such a nice gesture. Having said that, there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. The WiFi connection was not great, probably because of the location, but we struggled with it. And the breakfast was very carb-heavy, which may work for you but wasn't particularly to our liking. Nonetheless, We would book it again if I ever come back to Ella. We can only recommend Greenland villa highly."
