"I love the wooden floorings of the hotels and the rooms as it gives off a cozy vibe. The room is very clean. The toilet and shower is also up to expectations. However, there are a few drawbacks. The room doesn’t come with a fridge or a hot water flask, so we had to get hot water directly from the tap, which wasn’t very convenient. Nonetheless, there is a water dispenser with cold water available near the lift landing area, which was helpful for quick refills. The Wi-Fi was also on the weaker side, I struggled to play my games in the evenings, and the connection dropped quite often. One thing I found a bit unsettling was the horse portraits hanging in the corridors. A few times, they startled me when I looked up from my phone – they have a slightly creepy vibe, especially at night. Also, the corridor leading to my room got noticeably darker the deeper I went in, which made me feel a bit anxious coming and going. That said, I really appreciated the reception team. They were helpful and friendly, and provided great information about the express buses in and out of town, which made our day trips much smoother. All in all, Moov is a clean and comfortable place to stay with some quirky elements. If you're not too dependent on strong Wi-Fi or extra in-room amenities, it’s still a decent option."

"I have booked this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary. This hotel is one of the spa hotels in this area. Main reason we choose this hotel is for their spa facilities. Few days before our arrival my wife made a reservation for massage. You would think during this phone call to their spa it would be a great chance to say that actually our indoor pool and jacuzzi is under renovation. We'll we found out about it during our check in. To be fair turkish sauna and regular sauna was not under renovation, but it should have been. Turkish sauna has small tiles falling of and laying on the floor. There is also a rusty remnant of a pipe where steam used to come out. So I will definitely not recommend this hotel for its Spa facilities. Not in a near future anyway. Stuff was nice and hotel is in great location though."

"Excellent location, beautiful landscape. The hotel is fabulous, a great choice if you want to relax. Rooms are great, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. The swimming pools are very good, the contemplation spots are very original and cozy. You can really relax with the quietness and with the surroundings."

"Next to Évora stands a noteworthy hotel, "Quinta da Amendoeira - Évora The Farmhouse." Invited to enjoy a fabulous sunset, accompanied by a giant screen broadcast of a Portugal match in the 2024 European Championship, we set off to enjoy this fantastic spot in the heart of the Alentejo. We began with a wine and ham tasting, showcasing the quality of Alentejo products. At the suggestion of a staff member, we enjoyed an excellent Alentejo cheese and sausage board, accompanied by an "Alento" red wine, in perfect harmony with the group of friends we had. A fantastic afternoon by the pool also allowed us to explore the hotel's beautifully designed space, which provides travelers with a truly relaxing stay in the Alentejo. The ever-present friendliness and efficiency of the hotel staff are a highlight. We promise to return, without a doubt. We congratulate the owners for creating a welcoming space with just the right amount of glamour in the heart of Alentejo. A recommendation from the Brazilian Gastronomy Guide."

"I stayed with friends at the lovely Casa do Governador which is around 3 kms from the centre of Evora & 500 metres from the Convent do Espinheiro. There are only 5 or 6 rooms but each is tastefully decorated and has a/c and fully fitted bathrooms. Downstairs there are a number of lounge rooms which are rustic and reflect local living and a shaded lounge area outside, this is set in 20 acres of land including a pool which we did not visit as we were to busy sightseeing. We would recommend."
