I booked online for the same day. When I arrived the said there were no rooms. The owner checked my reservation and made up a room for me anyway. There was a lovely cold breakfast buffet and the hosts were friendly.

I booked this reservation 3 months before my August stay. I realized within 4 hrs of making the reservation that it was a bad idea, because I had been having some increasingly challenging health issues and decided it would be unsafe to drive the 4 hrs to get there on the left side of the rd since I am used to the rt side of the road. I called the proprietor and explained the situation (within ~10 hrs of booking and w/ 3 mo to fill the room) and was brushed off and told he would respond via email. So I emailed and the owner never responded and never answered any of my phone calls from that point on. I left kind phone messages and emails and he didn't respond to any of them. So, I ended up losing $500. Also, after booking the room for me and my daughter I was informed that kids are not allowed and contacted ******* and was told there was nothing that they could do b/c "no kids" was in fine print on the reservation (literally at the very end after scrolling way, way down and after about 10 ******* advertisements. So I didn't even know if we went if we would be allowed to stay. All the other rooms booked up in the 3 months and I am sure that during the busiest tourist month ours would have been booked too if they had given us a refund. Very unkind and greedy owner!!! I DO NOT recommend staying at this place if you value kindness and compassion!

Yowzer! Think about staying in a really fancy mansion, with an owner who is like the oracle of the local area… then add to that the comfiest nights sleep and jazziest breakfast ever… and you’re there. If you’re going to Fort William, stay with Charles and his lovely with Katerina. You won’t regret it!

Charles and Katerina were gracious hosts, a great location, ample parking and a very comfortable room and ensuite, breakfast was an incredible choice of hot and continental food for such a small establishment and we will be back and certainly would recommend

An absolute nightmare. We stayed in Fort William at Westcourt B&B for four nights. On day one we had the honeymoon suite, with jacuzzi. We wanted to enjoy the bath, but while we were in there, Charles knocked on our door several times (even though you can clearly hear that the jacuzzi is in use from the corridor, as we'd been told not to use it after 22pm). Eventually it turned out he wanted to introduce himself and try to sell us the room for more nights (because we had a cheaper room for the following days). Guest privacy was definitely not a thing. Since we had been hiking and camping for a week beforehand, in the rain, all our stuff was wet. When we asked if they had laundry facilities they referred us to laundromats for which we'd have to take a taxi to reach. We just wanted to dry things, so we spread our stuff over the room. When we came back in the evening, Charles met us in the hallway, as if he was waiting for us (which he did several times in a way which at least I found very creepy), to tell us that this was "unacceptable" and we "should be thrown out". When we discussed a bit and said that we did not cause any damage to the room whatsoever, the stuff is just wet, not dirty, nor did we bother any other guests in the slightest, he went to make a completely inappropriate remark about our lifestyles saying "I don't understand how you can live like this", and that they couldn't perform any room service like this (although they had taken down all the things that were drying). When we tried to say that we don't need our room cleaned while we stay there, they said that it wasn't an option, it's included in the service, so asking for privacy is again not ok. The next day, when there had been room service, returned to our room to find our personal stuff that we like to keep on the nightstand, was moved into cupboards in the bathroom, so we had to look through the whole place to find them. If this all doesn't sound bad enough yet, we had a bit of drama also regarding payment, where Charles got agitated saying that there's no point to a bank card if you can't use it. This is because he already had my husband's card details (through ***********) and tried to just take money for the extra night in the honeymoon suite (this night was agreed on later, so not through ***********). Luckily my husband's bank has a safety mechanism which requires him to give the pincode if there's a new payment, but Charles could not offer a method for us to use the pincode, nor could he send a safe payment link. Eventually cash (without receipt) was the only option, because he also wasn't able to give his own IBAN number. So all in all, we felt extremely uncomfortable during our stay at Westcourt, and spent as little time in the B&B as possible, trying to avoid the hosts every time we went in and out. The breakfast was also not worth it at all, and not fresh (the same things lay there day after day), and also served only between 7:30 and 8:45, which can be extreme

Lovely large house very well maintained ,easy to find. The host was very welcoming on arrival. Give us a small tour of the ground floor (breakfast room ) and instructions for the front door . Our room was upstairs at the front overlooking the water and mountain. Very large room and clean.

We couldn’t have imagined a more welcoming and charming experience! The caretakers were attentive and ever so kind. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely B&B.

Lovely B&B. Super friendly hosts. Comfortable room. Great choice of food for breakfast. Lots fresh fruit. Not too far to walk into the town. Would recommend this B&B. We had a room at the front of this place so our view was overlooking the sea which was super.
