"Μέναμε 4 μέρες στο μπαρ του Κρέισαντ ντε Λουν στη Μπαγκάρ, και δυστυχώς η εμπειρία μας ήταν απογοητευτική. Όταν αναφέραμε το πρόβλημα, ο οικοδεσπότης μας είπε για πρώτη φορά για τον άνεμο, πριν παραδεχτεί ότι ήταν πράγματι ένα πρόβλημα εκκένωσης που είναι γνωστό εδώ και αρκετές εβδομάδες, χωρίς να μας έχει ενημερώσει ποτέ εκ των προτέρων. Αντιμέτωπη με την δυσφορία μας, απλά μας συμβούλευσε να φύγουμε από τα μέρη και πρότεινε να πάμε στο Ibis Budget du coin ... μια απάντηση για το λιγότερο εκπληκτικό και μη επαγγελματικό. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ άνετο και πολύ άνετο. Παρά το πολύ γρήγορο σήμα μας (με πολλά μηνύματα χωρίς απαντήσεις), η οικοδεσπότης μας είπε ότι δεν τα βρήκε ποτέ στο σπίτι. Καθώς ορισμένοι από αυτούς τους ανθρώπους τους άφησαν στο έδαφος, η έλλειψη αυστηρότητας αυτή ενισχύει μόνο το αίσθημα της προσέγγισης της διαχείρισης των κατοικιών. Δεν αμφισβητούμε την ποιότητα του περιβάλλοντος, πράγμα που είναι πραγματικά ευχάριστο, αλλά για τη στέγαση του τουρισμού, είναι απαραίτητο να υπάρχει ελάχιστη διαφάνεια, αξιοπιστία και σοβαρότητα."

"The hotel has a lot of charm at first glance, but the cleanliness is not up to 5-star standards. In the sauna, the chlorine or bromine concentration is too high and irritates the eyes. It's impossible to turn down the music in the bar; it's far too loud. Breakfast is very expensive and meager, consisting mainly of frozen products, with a €28 flat rate regardless of whether you choose savory or sweet options. And to top it all off, Petrus has no business being in the breakfast room. He's lovely, but he gives off a very strong and unpleasant odor in the morning. Not worthy of a 5-star rating."

"Went to see Nick Cave at the Arena. Hotel is less than five minutes away. Railway station just a short walk as well. Restaurants are nearby, next to the Arena and down adjacent roads. Also, there is a handy supermarket just across the road. After the first night, our room's aircon went on the blink. After a quick check by staff, we were switched to another (better) room, with no problems. A very decent breakfast spread, we also ate one night in the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious. Without exception, all the staff were excellent, as was the overall service. We are certainly happy to recommend this hotel."

"A spectacularly beautiful establishment full of charm and curated antiques. We loved our stay at Jardins Secrets, it is indeed a unique and special place for pure relaxation at the heart of Nîmes. We are a family of four with a little doggie and initially booked the family room but the charming Victoria who greeted us at reception advised that since we had 2 adult daughters it would be more comfortable to have 2 separate suites. The girls had the chambre mademoiselle and they absolutely adored it. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with period style furniture which reflected the soul of the old Coach house. The owners have done an amazing job of decorating each piece and public spaces (there are about 5) beautifully curated and styled public spaces including the bar and 14 unique and absolutely stunning gorgeously decorated rooms. It was like being in a fairy tale, the gardens and inner courtyard merited to be called secret garden as it had a stunning pool, with lovely plants and birdsong accompanying one, when you sat outside. I would have like to keep this place a secret as it was indeed a beautiful discovery. My daughters have traveled the world with us, be it in Asia, Africa, Europe and the US, stayed in luxurious accommodations but the Jardins Secrets was one of the best hotels in the world by far. The hotel manager Victoria is a real gem, her warmth and hospitality coupled with her kindness and enthusiasm made our stay memorable and wonderful. Victoria is a real star and asset to this establishment. Breakfast was served in the lovely garden and on a rainy day in the antique kitchen, we even had candlelight for breakfast service indeed a treat. One night on our return from dinner in Nîmes, the whole place was lit with candles and the perfume scented spaces were outer worldly. We were not surprised that a slew of celebrities had stayed here for its serenity and anonymity that a 14 bedroom luxury mansion could only offer in comparison to chain 5 star hotels. Names like Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Sting, Billy Halliday, Phil Collins were whispered amongst many other guest of great but discerning taste. An exceptional elegant and exquisitely crafted establishment."
