I like the size of room, the view, and the service. This is by far the worst of my Ryokan or on-sen hotel experience. First, the hotel is so stringy since they offer very limited services in the service. There is no free water (no free drink at the on-sen that most hotels will provide after finishing bathing), no free skincare products (even in the public bath), no enough activities in the hotel (only cartoon room, table tennis and kid room). Second, the breakfast and dinner is very disappointing. Taste is ok but the quality and the quantity is very questionable why I would spend this much for these meals. Finally, they provides only 1 outdoor and 1 indoor on-sens for each male and female which is very unfortunate. The facilities need Hugh improvement. I would come back to Gero again but not stay in this hotel."

"We had lunch while sightseeing in Gero Onsen. There are more tatami mat seats than table seats in the store, and I think it was good because I was able to eat comfortably in a spacious room. For the menu, we had a set meal using the local cuisine magnolia miso. After serving, you have to wait until the fire goes through, but I'm glad that I was able to eat the very delicious Hoba miso. The miso and vegetables/tofu go well together, and the rice goes very well ☆ The dish is healthy, including the side dishes, so if you want to eat meat, I think it would be a good idea to add Hida beef as a topping."

"Hotel service is good, i had a good experience in 1-night stay. Hotel could arrange pick-up service from JR Gero station to hotel. There is hot spring in my room, but since the weather is cold, i went to the public one. The facilities are very clean and tidy, i enjoyed an indoor and outdoor hotspring bath. There are convenience stores and souvenir shops around the hotel, with 5 mins walking distance. The food is great, my package included a dinner and breakfast, the food looked great and tasty."

"The facilities seemed a bit dated, but it was clear they were well-maintained overall. The tatami room was spacious and lovely, and all the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. There were two types of hot springs: an indoor sauna and an outdoor one. While the facilities were on the smaller side, there were no other guests when I used them, so my sister and I could comfortably enjoy the onsen by ourselves. Although we don't have a dog, it seemed like there were various amenities for pet owners. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to Gero Station. Since it was snowing heavily and we had luggage, we wanted to use the shuttle service, but unfortunately, there was no driver available. However, they kindly hailed a taxi for us, so we were able to get to the station comfortably. The room had yukata and various other amenities. Right next to the accommodation, there were Gero Pudding, butter sandwiches, and several souvenir and trinket shops. A Lawson convenience store was also conveniently located within a 5-minute walk. Oh, but the noise from upstairs? The soundproofing wasn't great, and the whole room vibrated when people walked above us, haha! Aside from that one point, everything else was absolutely fantastic."
