"You get exactly what you pay for, and may be a little less, but if all of your concern is just putting your head down for the night and you have very minimal expectations. Then you are fine. The location and condition of the property is well below average and it is currently under construction and looks to be for quite some time. Maybe forever. If you are a single guy with very good common and street sense then your stay will be OK, but for any other dynamic, a hard no. Consider other options."

"This is an older property that is getting a lot of attention to make it cute. The decorations are adorable but it still has the problems that go with age - the beds are still old, the bathroom floor creaks, the shower head hits my chest (I'm 5' 2") and the toilet takes three flushes. That being said, it is within two minutes of Highport Marina (by car), is the only motel-style lodging in Pottsboro and is the cheapest lodging without considering cabins. The rates are the same as the chain hotel/motels ten minutes away in Denison so it is really up to what your priorities are - closer to the lake or better quality room. There is good boat parking and plenty of it. They also have boat storage facilities on the premises if you are thinking of more of a home base for the lake instead of just a stayover. One thing to consider is that the party area is really used for that. The night we were there, there was a party essentially out in the parking lot until the wee small hours. It wasn't too much of an issue until people starting going to bed and had forgotten by that time to be quieter near the rooms. There is also a local neighborhood bar across the street."

Η πόρτα του δωματίου δεν θα κλειδώσει όταν η πόρτα είναι κλειδωμένη... έπρεπε να σηκωθείς στο μανίκι για να βάλεις την κλειδαριά... και η κοπέλα στο γραφείο είπε ότι δεν έχουν τρόπο να μάθουν για την ζημιά χωρίς να τους το πει ένας πελάτης. Γιατί πρέπει να τους πληρώσω για να μείνουν τη νύχτα, και να τους κάνω μια χάρη;"
