Guilin Guanghu Inn (Railway Station Xiangshan Park Branch)

For only 100 RMB, I got a private room complete with toiletries and en suite bathroom. Everything is clean. The location is a walkable distance to Guilin Railway Station. I arrived at Guilin West and took the No. 22 bus and stopped at Nan Men Qian Nan. I walked 300 meters moving forward. Before the first crossing, turn right. Walk some more 200 meters or so and the hostel is located to the right next to food shops. You might get confused though if you booked this in English. The name that appears on Trip.com is Guilin Guanghu Inn while in Agoda it is Travel Light Guilin. The hostel's building has the Guanghu Inn in Chinese characters and then Travel Light written in English. So yes, it's one and the same. The hostel is only a few minutes away to the two rivers and four lakes. It only costed me 9 RMB via Didi (like a Grab or Uber app). The reception serves good coffee too! Basic breakfast of two eggs, three slices of bacon, two pieces of toast, and a cup of coffee is pegged at 28 RMB. The best part? Jerry and Jennifer! They are so delightful to speak with because they always are open to help out with that signature courteous and friendly manner. It was my first time in Guilin. I have a feeling I will visit again because of Guilin Guanghu Inn/Travel Light Hostel.

Value for price. Walking distance to place of interests. Room is very spacious at this price point and has all the basic ammenities👍🏻❤️

Location of hotel is not accurate in Google Map, Apple Map or Baidu is better. Lots of food options around the hotel. Local markets are a short walk away. There is a sewage smell coming from the toilet. Should add a bidet next to WC. The bed is too hard and we can feel the spring. Pillows are too soft but hotel provided us extra when we ask, which is great. Towels are a bit worn out and thin.

Super hotel ! The room are nice and clean! The staff are super helpful and give a lot of advice on the sightseeing attractions nearby ! (Bonus point : the train station is nearby, so convenient to see the mountains!)

Perfect mix. We had a private room, but dorm rooms are available. Coffee and breakfast available in the lobby. Very helpful team and really helpful. We were able to change our plans last minute and they were happy to accommodate.

This hostel accepts foreigners. Great location close to the train station, bus stops and main attractions. The staff were friendly and spoke English very fluently, which was a first for us in China. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Much more than what we were expecting for a hostel room. Overall good quality for the money spent.

Very close to Guilin Railway Station (10 min walking). Close to a lot of local restaurants and stores. Walking distance to some of the scenic areas. Summing up, they are a 10/10!! 🤩

Clean rooms, very convenient location, good value for money ! We recommend ! But mostly, a really nice and helpful staff, able to speak perfect English (cherry on the cake).
