No. 2 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Guilin"I was really happy with my stay at this hotel during my trip to Guilin! As soon as we arrived, the staff told us about nearby attractions and even gave us a tour guide, which saved us a lot of hassle. We could walk to all the nearby sights, which was super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent and perfectly adequate.
Mid-stay, we ran out of toiletries, and as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, they were brought to our room immediately. The staff proactively asked if we were comfortable, and when we checked out, they gave us a bag for our belongings and extra bottled water. They even thoughtfully provided cooling patches and mosquito repellent when they heard I was going to Yangshuo next. The service was incredibly warm and attentive to detail. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!"

No. 2 of Family Hotels in Guilin"Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious.
The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night.
The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos.
The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process.
My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it.
I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good.
The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!"

No. 3 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Guilin"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, with Ronghu Lake Park directly outside. The room views are incredible, offering a 180° panorama of the karst peaks at sunset, and you can also overlook the Two Rivers and Four Lakes at night.
The amenities are thoughtful and convenient, including free parking. Each floor has a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and detergent. Food deliveries are sent directly to your room by a robot, and the bedding is perfectly comfortable.
The service is warm and attentive; the front desk staff are super friendly, and a female staff member even helped with our luggage. Downstairs, there's complimentary water, drinks, and fruit. The afternoon tea and breakfast are excellent quality, with freshly brewed coffee from a machine. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it meets all needs, though you might miss out on the rice noodles if you go too late.
The room was spotlessly clean, and as it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. Don't miss out on this place if you're visiting Guilin; it's truly great value for money!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin and would highly recommend it to international travelers. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, and you can really feel the attention to detail throughout the property.
What stood out most was the service—staff were attentive, helpful, and went beyond our expectations to meet every need quickly and efficiently. Communication was smooth, even for international guests, which made the entire stay stress-free.
A lovely bonus was the Italian-style coffee machine located downstairs, which served excellent coffee and made mornings even better.
Overall, a fantastic experience and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin."

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on local attractions and recommending great restaurants. They even upgraded our room for free! The room itself was comfortable with a great dry-wet separation in the bathroom. It's super close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, both within walking distance. Plus, there's a street food alley right downstairs – very convenient!"

2026 Asia 100 - Scenic Hotels"Extremely satisfied with this hotel during my Guilin trip! As soon as I arrived, staff were there to greet me and took care of my luggage, making for a smooth check-in. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious, but the best part was the stunning view from the bed – waking up to the misty Guilin scenery was incredible. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and offered a great variety. We also had lunch at the Cloud Restaurant, which had direct lake views from the window, and the food was excellent. The service staff were incredibly attentive (in fact, all the hotel staff had outstanding service, making us feel right at home). We also tried the travel photography experience, which was definitely worth it!"

"The location of this hotel is just perfect in the heart of city centre of Guilin, zhengyang night market, solitary beauty peak, elephant trunk hill just walking distance 10-15 minutes.
The hotel is great, the room is spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Our beds are comfortable, the cleaning lady did a good job and very nice, she gave us extra water for us.
There is laundry room for guess too and thanks to that facility we bring clean and freshe clothes for our next destination.
Breakfast was good as well. They served variety of food, including the specialty of guilin: Rice Noodle soup. Our last day, we couldn't have breakfast but we could take away our breakfast so we packed some food to enjoy on the train to guangzhou.
The check in/out process was very smooth. All the staffs were very kind and helpful, specially Jollin. She helped me with direction and when I told her I am IHG member, and because I booked the room through Trip instead of direct booking it couldn't be recorded in my membership she gave me welcome gifts. Thank you Jollin.
Our 3D2N stay was perferct. Defitely will come back to HIE."

The transportation is also convenient; it's not far to take a taxi to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, and you can also rent electric scooters nearby. The breakfast selection is rich and delicious. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, and the hotel even has a kids' play area."

The Dongxi Alley pedestrian street is right downstairs, and at night, you can open your window to enjoy the illuminated views of Dongxi Alley. It's a mere 2-minute walk to Jingjiang Prince City, and Zheng Yang Street is just across the road. You can reach the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Xiaoyao Tower, and Elephant Trunk Hill within 5 to 20 minutes, and Diecai Mountain isn't far either. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. If you're visiting Guilin, I highly recommend staying here."

No. 4 of Family Hotels in Guilin"Guilin Shangri-La, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it!! Is Guilin Shangri-La old? No! While it's a bit older, every single facility is incredibly well-maintained! And the food? Even better!
Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!!
The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!!
The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent!
Big shout-out and praise to Ivan Yang from F&B, Linda Zhang from the Health Club, and Daisy Chen from the Horizon Club!! They were all absolutely, absolutely wonderful!!!
Every single staff member is super, super nice!!! I love Guilin Shangri-La!!
There are also many animals to see, hahaha, and even peacocks fanning their tails!"
