We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there. Yes, the hotel is in the old town, wherever it is convenient, it is an old monastery remodeled. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel. The key is that Maastricht is very beautiful, there are not many people visiting in winter, and even less Chinese tour groups. Because of the junction of the three cities of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, it is very international. Shopping is great, Belgians are running over to buy things. Classical architecture, beautiful lakes, and the “Paradise Bookstore” rebuilt by the church.

Service was good. Rooms complete. Breakfast was well cared and wide choice. Unfortunately we had the room above the Irish Pub. That's nicely useless. Until 4.00 hours no eye closed. Despite windows close to ventilator, no airco, and was very warm ....These rooms above the pub should actually be used nudity ......

A beautiful building had a great and royal economic room, good shower facilities, staff at the reception were present, asked for a water cooker and immediately asked if we wanted cups and tea bags. We could be equipped with the Dutch Mountain Trail from here again.

Nice new hotel. Unfortunately no welcome drinks, which is normal. nice room. No possibility to impose the bags anywhere but on the ground. We are not so old, but still a little limited. So put the chair on the desk with extra support, enough space for a baggage bag or something like that, and now we arrived late in the rain. Had not even been watching, because there were some cars that we should not have left the car standing before the door. Not asked. In the meantime, 10 days further and no points received. This is not what I'm used to Acor and has come there for many years as silver or gold member, so you know what I'm talking about.

I stayed here for four days for a business trip. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions about dining, parking and other services of the hotel. There are two parking garages that the hotel uses, one that has metal doors on either side, so if you have a large vehicle, you may want to use the other entrance around the corner which had a little more space on the sides. The room rate included breakfast as well as overnight parking.. The room (#636) faces the plaza next to the entrance of the parking garage. The rooms across the hall face the river. The room has two beds with a desk that hold the TV which can swivel to either the beds or the desk area. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower with a glass partition. The space works for one person. There was two bottles of water that were left in the room each day. The hotel is centrally located with lots of café and restaurants on the same side as well as short walk to shops/restaurants across the river. I can see why many of the people from our company stay here.

Our room on the 4th floor was facing the train station but very quiet in the night. The room was clean. The bed was big and comfortable. There were 3 windows. Like the round table with 2 chairs, we really could sit for a drink. Breakfast was great. Receptions were friendly and helpful. We pre-booked the underground parking so convenience when we arrived. Lots of restaurants around the hotel and from the hotel to City Hall. The only think that I don’t like was the bath tub was small and narrow so when I showered the shower curtain touched my arm all the time.

Hotel Brull is located in a nice small village between the hills of southern Limburg and a great starting point for cycling or hiking through the area. The exterior is amazing, with 3 different terraces, so always sun and a nice view. The people from the hotel are super kind and helpfully. Breakfast was more then enough, and eventhough we had to deal with corona measurements it was possible to eat at your room or outside on the terrace. We had a Deluxe room which was spacious. I've read complaints about rooms not being sounds proof but that was minimal. The building is dated from 1700 something, so we call it (sound/noize) the charms of such a historic building! It is a historical venue with character and a beautiful courtyard. The rooms as spacious but old outfitted. Parking is outside exposed to the elements, and the restaurant is not always opened. The staff speaks several languages, the breakfast is abundant, and the location is ideal to reach the town center and walk in the woods. It is a good place but not one I would necessary choose above other options
