"This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at over the years, and the first one on Ctrip that I've voluntarily written a positive review for. It boasts a huge common area, including a bar, co-working space, and sofa seating. The design is incredibly thoughtful: the guest area requires a key card for entry, the floors are entirely covered with sound-absorbing carpet, rooms have private lockers, and the bed lights are not directly overhead but are warm yellow lights with a wooden panel to soften the glow. The women's bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, new disinfected slippers, mirrors in the shower stalls, and both half-length and full-length mirrors in the vanity area. The showers are located at the very back of the room, with a push-button entry door. They also provide shower caps, makeup remover pads, and cotton swabs. Every staff member I encountered was super friendly, and the cleanliness everywhere was excellent."

"I traveled to Guangzhou for 5 days and my time at this hostel was great! The owner is very polite and speaks English. I had a little bit of trouble finding it initially as the entrance is tucked away, but other than that I had no issues. The location is about 1hr 20min from city center by metro, so keep that in mind when planning activities."

"Quality hostel, great for long stays. Staff speak English. Comfortable rooms. Each bed has a light and two plugs. Roomates very quiet and respectful. Curtains covered just half the bed. Hot water shower worked well. Bathroom extremely filthy. Probably the worst I've ever seen besides an outhouse. Great common areas and kitchen. There's 3 common areas: a game room, a room with lots of seating, and a converted outdoor seating area near the laundry. Beware mosquitos however. Kitchen has only one burner and a microwave. Many of the long stay guests have their own private burners and applicances. Super fast wifi in the common room, but barely worked in the room. Not very social. Seems to have more long-stay guests than travelers. Many foreigners also, mostly Arabs and Africans. Located very near a metro station. The neighborhood is a cool lower middle class residential area. Very active at night. Several grocerry stores nearby. Loved the glimpse into urban Chinese life. Also the historic Dongshan district is a 10 min bike ride away. Laundry available for 5 rmb. I would 100% stay here again, especially for long-term stay."

"If you need a place overnight then this is a good budget hostel. It is surprisingly clean for it’s price. It will just depend on who will your roommates but the Lady who accepts me is so welcoming and can speak English! Downstairs has lots of foods and it is very near the shopping mall plus the metro station."

"Excellent, really great! 👍 The owner is super nice, and the other guests are good too – it's quiet and friendly. The environment is comfortable, and everyone gets their own small table. It's an all-female place and generally very tidy. The bedding is comfy and clean; I slept really well."

"There are plenty of tables and chairs in the common area, easily enough for everyone, along with three or four two-person sofas facing each other. The washbasins have mirrors, and there are about five or six showers, which is perfectly sufficient. I rarely have to queue when I go to wash up. The dorm room itself is quite spacious, and the bed is wide and well-ventilated from both sides. This location is right in a 'Red Culture' district, and the walk in is well-lit, making me feel very safe. The path is straightforward, not winding at all, and easy to find. You can take the subway to Changgang Station, Exit C1, and you don't even need to cross the road to get here – very convenient. Overall, it's fantastic! The atmosphere is great too; everyone respects each other's space and it's quite harmonious. Plus, I booked a 6-person dorm, and the front desk lady upgraded me to a 4-person dorm for free! ❤️❤️❤️ The only minor downsides are that the bathroom is a bit narrow and stuffy, and it can feel a little warm around the washbasins and showers during peak bathing times. The aisle by the lockers is a bit tight, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry luggage up to the second floor (though the front desk lady helped me, so it wasn't a big issue). For food delivery, you need to go downstairs from the second floor to pick it up outside the main entrance; if it's hot, you need to grab it quickly as it can't sit for long. The soundproofing is neither good nor bad, just average, meaning if someone in the next room accidentally bumps your side of the bed frame, you'll hear it. Also, there are two drying areas: one with two long metal rods above the washing machine, and another in the dorm hallway. Both are indoors and quite large, so it's not really an issue. Apart from these minor points, there are no other drawbacks."

"Quite good, exceeded my expectations! The bedding was clean and comfortable, and there's a kitchen with everything you need. The owner was also very thoughtful. Downstairs, there are convenient facilities and various snack shops. Plus, there are security personnel at the building entrance."

"I stayed in a dorm room for three days, and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. In the mornings, I'd walk downstairs to the cheong fun (rice noodle roll) shop for breakfast; their fresh shrimp cheong fun was wonderfully smooth and tender. It was just a few minutes' walk to Binjiangdong Road subway station, and I could get to Beijing Road and Yongqing Fang with just one transfer. Each bed in the room had its own curtain and charging port, so I had privacy when I drew the curtain. The communal laundry room was available 24/7, and it was super convenient to be able to wash and dry my clothes right away."

"What initially seemed expensive but turned out to be an incredible value after experiencing it? Look no further! The designer must be someone with rich life experience, because every detail hit the nail on the head 💗. He Ping Hostel is now my top choice for accommodation whenever I travel ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ The bunk beds, lockers, and bathroom areas are all cleverly separated. This design is truly brilliant! Plus, the room doors are soundproof, so you won't disturb anyone when handling luggage or using the restroom. There's also ample space around the bunks to move around. This is what a true youth hostel should be like, not some cramped shared apartment situation 😖. **Facilities:** The mattress is so comfortable, I can lie flat all night without feeling any soreness! The bedding is also very thick and super cozy! Although it's bunk beds, the frames are sturdy, so a simple turn won't make noise. There's even a separate changing room in the dorm, which is very convenient for changing clothes. They have washing machines, dryers, and an outdoor drying area. The common area is very spacious with several tables. **Cleanliness:** The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the aunties come to clean the bathrooms every morning. The showers and toilets are separate individual cubicles, both with their own exhaust fans 👍🏻. The movable faucet in the toilet – anyone who likes to keep things extra clean or lives in a humid climate will understand the value of this design ⭐. **Environment:** All the different functions are in separate areas, so they don't interfere with each other. They even have air conditioning in the hair-drying area, which is so thoughtful ❤️❤️❤️! Transportation is very convenient, just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and the bus stop is even closer. It's located right on the main street, not down an alley, which feels safe ✅. **Service:** The front desk lady was incredibly gentle and detailed in her introduction to me, much appreciated 🌹🌹🌹. Upon check-in, you receive a toiletries bag with a bath towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, and earpl. This bag is also super convenient for packing clothes – I love it 💕! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and love everything about it 💞💞💞. Personally, I think they're doing a fantastic job right now, and I hope the business prospers and continues to operate for a long time to come 😘."

"The pure girl quadruple room is very safe, privacy, cleanliness are online, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the public bathroom is clean and odorless.
