"We recently stayed here for two months for a business trip with about 10 people. It took my boss 2-3 days to find this hostel, and we were all really happy with it. It's quiet yet conveniently located. The common area is super comfortable, and the shower water pressure is great and relaxing. The owner even provided good quality shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper. The washing machine and dryer were reasonably priced to use. Honestly, it felt just like staying in a mid-range hotel, and the cleanliness of the bedding even surpassed some! The owner was always accommodating and helpful. A big thank you to the owner for taking care of us for a whole month. I specifically wanted to leave this good review to commend them."

"Right above Window of the World Metro Station, the location is super convenient and walkable. There's a shopping mall downstairs with plenty of food options, which is very handy. It offers great value for money and is definitely worth staying at again."

"The service was very nice, and the girl at the front desk was very kind. However, I almost checked out because the girl in my room worked at night, and I couldn't sleep. She set the air conditioner to 30°C. I told her the room was very warm, and she finally lowered it to 27.5°C. 😂 I was roasting! Also, the bed squeaked every time we moved. The receptionist offered me another room, but I preferred to move to a different hostel"

"It was very quiet inside, which I really liked. Both the bathroom and the room were very clean. They had everything from hot water to a washing machine. The bed was really clean and comfortable. There were also some foreign guys inside, which was quite interesting."

"On arrival to Shenzhen I was contacted by the owner of the hotel who explained to me that I would be in a different room from the one that I booked. This wasn’t just a different room in the hostel, it was a different location from the original hostel I booked. This wasn’t a massive problem, it was close enough to the same location, and on top of that I was put into a three-bed rather than a six-bed dorm. The new location was good enough, the man who ran the place was friendly although he spoke no English which is par for the course in mainland China to be honest. There was a subway station very near and good food options below the building. The shower was warm and bathroom tidy enough so I can’t fault it all that much. Oh and there’s a really nice coffee shop called meet coffee below which I recommend."

"I usually never bother to write reviews for accommodations, but after having a simple lunch for over 100 RMB in Huaqiangbei today, I suddenly felt compelled to review the Qiyou Hostel where I'm staying. For just 88 RMB a night, it's not only clean, comfortable, and has warm, attentive service, but it's truly a condensed five-star hotel experience. The lobby is spacious and bright, and they offer free freshly ground coffee – yes, free! Many five-star hotels I've stayed in don't even offer complimentary freshly ground coffee! They also have free tea, direct-drink hot and cold water, and separate male and female rest areas. The guests all seem very respectful; the lounge area is really quiet. The sleeping pods are incredibly comfortable too; the bed is spacious enough, there's air conditioning, a locker for personal items, and hooks to hang things. Everyone in the sleeping area also has a locker that can fit a large suitcase. The lovely front desk staff told me that if I have a lot of luggage, I can store it in their baggage room. They have a wide selection of books available for free loan. In the evenings, you'll see groups of guests sitting in the lobby, chatting softly – many foreigners, men and women, old and young, all looking very relaxed. Besides not providing disposable toiletries, they offer everything else a star-rated hotel would. Oh, and you can buy toiletries and other common necessities from the vending machine in the lobby, and the prices are very reasonable. You can tell the owner genuinely cares. Highly recommend!"

"Extremely satisfied with this all-female hostel! It felt really comfortable and the facilities were quite modern. As it was my first time traveling alone, I had a lot of reservations about staying in a hostel, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great everything was after checking in. They even have a dedicated vanity room! The lady at the front desk was incredibly detailed when explaining everything during check-in and even helped me with my luggage. If I ever come back to this area, I'll definitely stay here again!"

"The location is prime and the entrance is located on the other end of the train station marked by 2 red laterns. There is a security guard who will open the door and only the isolated right lift can get you to 20H as the other 2 lifts need access card for activation. The hostel is cosy and the living room is big. The 2 toilets are easily accessible with no personal amenities provided. There is an additional RMB 2/night air-con fees which is reasonable for a comfortable sleep. Charging port and light is available for every bed and privacy is ensured with curtain. Slipper is also provided for every travellers. Strongly recomended for solo and budget travellers."

"As soon as I arrived I got a free upgrade to a bed in a dorm. The place isn't clean at all, I saw some cockroaches running in the beds. The building is non smoking but people were smoking in the common room, and quite often judging by the amount of ash everywhere. Overall I would suggest to go here only if you're not very regardant on hygiene and comfort, and if you're searching for the cheapest stay possible"
