"Stayed at Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring and absolutely loved it. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and every staff member we met was kind, helpful and efficient. Service felt warm without being intrusive. I saw quite a few comments online saying the rooms are too small, but honestly I think it depends on which room type you book. We checked the room size before booking and found it very acceptable for Osaka standards — spacious enough to open luggage comfortably and move around without feeling cramped. One of our favourite parts was all the little extras included during the stay — the free late-night noodles every evening were surprisingly good, and the onsen was such a nice way to relax after walking all day. After the bath, there was complimentary ice cream which made the experience even better. Location is another huge plus — directly across from Dotonbori, within walking distance to Kuromon Market, and very convenient for exploring Namba and nearby areas. The whole hotel has a calm Japanese ryokan-style atmosphere while still being modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time in Osaka ❤️"

"The hotel staff were friendly and polite. They offered a happy hour from 10 AM to 10 PM daily, with a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks, and even complimentary ramen in the evening. There were different activities organized every day, and plenty of seating in the lounge area. They also had a large public bath. The rooms were spacious and clean. Daily room cleaning was available. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Osaka."

"The room has all the ingredients - single and non-one shoes, pijama-kimono, razor blades, watt sticks, hairdresser etc. all you can imagine. The hotel is quiet, the neighbors are not heard. Staff is friendly and responsive. 10 minutes walk from the Castle Hotel in Osaka with a park, very beautiful. Of course the room is small but it is a feature of many rooms in Japan"

"Booked for just over 300 a night, I can only say that this price is an absolute steal! The location is great, making it super convenient to get to nearby tourist spots. There's a supermarket right across the street where you can grab snacks and drinks. The hot springs were very relaxing too."

"I chose this ryokan based on a few criteria: 1) I wanted a traditional ryokan, not a Western-style hotel; 2) it needed to be close to the station and Dotonbori for both shopping and nightlife; and 3) it had to be reasonably priced. Reasonable prices are generally hard to come by in Osaka, but this ryokan definitely won out in that category. I didn't opt for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The room key is old-fashioned and heavy, and you have to hand it in every time you leave. A nice touch was the rice tea instead of standard tea bags. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"★★★★★ 5/5 Had a wonderful stay at CANDEO HOTELS Osaka Shinsaibashi and would happily return again. The location is honestly one of the biggest highlights — incredibly convenient. The hotel is directly connected to the lively Shinsaibashi area, with shopping and food everywhere around you. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is right nearby and leads all the way towards Dotonbori, making it perfect for exploring on foot. Daimaru and many well-known shopping malls are also within easy walking distance. One thing that made this hotel feel unique was the atmosphere around the rooftop Sky Spa. The rooftop bath area feels peaceful and calming despite being in the middle of the city, especially at night after a full day of shopping and walking. Such a beautiful way to unwind. The hotel itself was very clean, modern and surprisingly spacious for Osaka standards. We never felt cramped and had enough room to settle in comfortably. Another fun surprise — MiPig Cafe is only a short walk away across the area (around a few minutes), which we really enjoyed visiting. We also tried the in-room massage service after a long shopping day and it was amazing. Pricing felt reasonable and it was honestly one of the best decisions after walking so much. Excellent location, comfortable stay, relaxing bath experience and thoughtful facilities — definitely a 5-star experience for us and would stay again next trip to Osaka ❤️"

The location is excellent, making it incredibly easy to access public transit, shopping districts, and local restaurants.What I loved:The Onsen (Hot Spring): The indoor and outdoor public baths are top-tier. It is the perfect way to unwind after walking 20,000 steps around Osaka. The saunas and cold plunges are a huge bonus.Free Perks: The signature free Yonaki Soba (soy sauce ramen) served every night is delicious. They also provide free ice cream after your bath in the evening and Yakult drinks in the morning.The Breakfast: Do not skip the buffet! The spread is incredible, featuring fresh local specialties, seafood, and western options.Rooms: While typical Japanese hotel rooms can be small, the ”Premium” lineup feels modern, functional, and spotlessly clean.Minor things to note:The elevators and bath areas can get quite busy during peak check-in and breakfast hours, but the staff manages it very well.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. The amenities make it feel like a luxury ryokan experience at a reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again!"
