We stayed for 2 night (6th Oct - 8 Oct)the hotel is excellent, Andy the manager and PC the front desk,they both very kind,give us very late check out while we're waiting for the taxi which delayed for 3 hours (till 6 pm)and help us to deal with the taxi driver. The room is big and clean,breakfast with a lot of option (western and Chinese),swimming pool is very good and beach in front of the hotel is clean. We'll high recommended. It's perfect for long stay or even just for weekend.

The hotel was nice. We were given a top floor room,it was really spacious, clean and had an amazing view!!Amenities and services just as advertised. The location was really convenient, lots of Chinese/foreign restaurants around. The hotel is right at the beach which is great (umbrellas and chairs were paid tho). The buffet breakfast was well organized, food selection was ok, nothing fancy. The hotel is a bit old and is lacking the feel of luxury but overall we were satisfied.

It's definitely not a 5* hotel, so don't expect much. The view is beautiful and breakfasts are more than decent. However, it's pretty much impossible to sleep because of the fireworks that literally never stop. You'd expect people to get tired and go to bed after midnight but no, the only quiet time is between 5am and morning. Well, if you wake up early, then never really. Also, it's the dirtiest beach I've ever seen in my life. So if you are looking for a good swim, look elsewhere. We were lucky to enter the water once during our 5-day stay. It's filthy, like you are swimming in a trash can.

We had a great time staying at the beautiful Howard Johnson Sandalwoods. The complex is large with many waterslides for young children to play in. However, during winter season most of the pools are closed. The beach belonging to the hotel is also clean. The breakfast spread is fantastic, with a good mixture of chinese and western cuisine. Mina the receptionist manager was very helpful in granting us special checkout extension till 3.30pm as my sister was feeling unwell during checkout and need more time to rest. I will definitely be back again and bring my children along.

(background: European but communicate fluently with staff in Chinese) The Sheraton welcomed us with a light-flooded lobby in traditional Asian architecture. A warm and relaxing impression. Location： The Sheraton is located between Xunliaowan (10min) and Shuangyuewan (30min), the two major tourist places on the peninsula. The hotel is located remotely, meaning no restaurants or supermarkets are close or outside the entrance. It shares the beach only with the Regal Resort, which is 1km down the beach. Therefore, its quiet and perfect for weekend-getaway from the busy city life. Facilities: The hotel offers 3-4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, some remain closed/not in-use (hard to tell). Food: The hotel has a lobby bar which offers drinks and small snacks. We ordered a coffee there to be served at the pool, which was challenging and took some effort, but finally possible. (Chinese speaker) The breakfast restaurant is located on groundfloor serving up to 10:30am. Apart from common Chinese dishes, I am interested in the continental food variety, here the hotel was offering very soft ”french style” baguette, 3 different types of cheese, and smoked duck breast as cold cut. Also, the hotel offered fresh salad buffet with a good variety including olives. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect fresh orange/fruit juice, which I could not find. The hotel offers a BBQ restaurant/bar at the waterfront, so we tried Shaokao around 7pm. we chose a 298Y package for 2ppl. The food quality was very poor and we had to return all sausages and ask 4 dishes to be put back on the BBQ. Any street BBQ tastes way better. First we were told all drinks are included, later a can of beer cost CNY40, So we had to pay additional CNY120. Disappointing experience for a 5 star hotel. Service: Concierge welcomed our taxi and opened the door, but did not offered any help for our luggage. Check-In took almost 20minutes (excluding waiting time) which is long for a 5 star hotel. We were told to go to the room, however, there wasn't clear signage where to find the right elevator to our room. Being at the pool, we tried to order drinks, as the hotel lobby is 10min away. It seems this customer wish is new to the hotel and we had to beg the hotel staff to find a solution for us. For a 5star hotel, I do expect being able to order/buy drinks/water at the pool area. The sunbeds at the pool needed cushions which are quite heavy and were located in a hidden area. (Hard to find for guests, so most guest just used their room towels on the hard benches). I would have wish that there is staff guiding/helping on that task. The F&B staff seems not well trained and supervised. Unfinished drinks have been thrown on the ground in the outdoor areas, food waste has been put in little plastic bags and clients tissues were used to clean tables and get them ready for next customers. We had to ask staff proactively to clean our table of used plates and bowls.

This place was amazing. Upon check in, I realized I didn't reserve the room I wanted. My mistake, as I wanted a deluxe room, but ended up reserving a regular room(no bathtub). I really wanted that tub. The front desk agent, Karry was able to make things happen, and I ended up with an even better upgrade than I could hope for. I was staying at the hotel with my wife and daughter, so I got upgraded to a suite. Incredible room, and that tub was everything I was hoping for. The amenities at Dusit Thani were great too. Fisherman's cave-great dinner buffet. The water park was stupendous, proximity to the beach - again, great. I could write a book about how great this hotel was, and I don't think I would stay anywhere else on a return trip to Huizhou. Special shout out to Karry for bringing the magic to my family's vacation.

The receptionist, Zhong Guanghai, has a very good service. During the whole stay, he can reply and provide assistance as soon as possible. Like it! ! ! The restaurant downstairs of the hotel recommended to us is good for the price, much better than the one at the entrance of the hotel. During the National Day holiday, I stayed for one more night. In the evening, there was a bonfire party and other programs in the hotel. The dolls were so happy. Overall, I was very satisfied during my stay! Will come again next time!

The various facilities, supporting facilities and services of the hotel are not worthy of such an expensive price. The hotel is inconvenient to travel in the mountains. It takes more than ten minutes to take a taxi and it is difficult to call a taxi. Facilities: The facilities are OK, but the cleaning needs to be improved. There are water stains on the bathroom sink faucet. Hygiene: When I stayed there, I called at night to ask the service staff to come in to clean the spoons and bring the crib. The crib was thrown directly at the door and left after cleaning the pool with a dark face. It felt like I owed him money. Environment: It is more suitable to play golf if it is not friendly for children. The hotel lobby has a huge sand table for selling rooms, which is not at all the standard that a star-rated hotel should have. The hot springs weren't hot either, and the hotel staff said they wouldn't open if it rained. Service: The front desk staff was very enthusiastic when answering the phone and answering things, but they forgot to call me back every time. I stayed there for three days and the experience was very average. I will not stay here again!

The hotel room that we booked was lovely, great sea view, spacious and was clean. The hotel staff was kind and helpful and they made our stay good. However, the pool was really dirty and their excuse was that it is winter, which was ridiculous (just clean the pool and let the guests decide whether they want to swim or not). It would’ve been nice if they had brochures with activities that you can do around. The breakfast and drinks weren’t too good, would’ve been better if there were options.

First time in Huidong/Huizhou. Because of the 1st May holiday, all the hotels were overpriced, so we chose this one! The room and balcony were really big, but furniture a bit old, but it doesn’t matter. Room service never changed our bedsheets, just cleaned up the trash. The swimming pool was not opened and there was not any notice about that! The hotel is just on the beach, but we couldn’t go straight down, we had to go around as all the gates had been closed. The breakfast said western type buffet, but there wasn’t any western food! If they made some little improvements, it would get the hotel really far.

The Venus International Hotel in Huidong is great! It only cost more than 100 yuan to enjoy the benefits of 1,000 to 2,000 yuan in Huizhou Xunliao Bay Scenic Area. The hotel has complete facilities and elegant environment. The sanitary conditions are very good. The key is that the ladies at the front desk have a very good service attitude and are very enthusiastic towards guests. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also great. I will stay here again next time. By the way, it's called the Venus Hotel, not the Vienna Hotel, don't get me wrong.

The first time I came to Baipenzhu here, I saw this hotel on the Internet and tried it. Come to the hotel, the location is obvious, the hotel air is fresh and I feel very comfortable. Check-in is fast, and WeChat, butler service is added. The staff treat each other sincerely, the service attitude is good, and check out in seconds. When you enter the front desk and go up and down the stairs, there will be staff to greet you, and the waiters are very polite. The room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are well-equipped. The view and location are great. We had a lovely sea view. The room was large and the beds reasonably comfortable with good new sheets. The towels were new and substantial. The large fridge was useful but the freezer was frozen up and unusable. On the negative side, the furniture looked tacky and the wooden flooring had weirdly shrunk (unseasoned wood?) leaving wide gaps. The bathroom was functional but worn and tired looking. The sink leaked when we arrived but it was fixed fairly quickly. The room was not cleeaned nor beds made every day. They only provided two small bottles of water once per booking. The apartment block is enormous and being a fine example of cheerless cold, brutalist functionalism, confusing as it all looks exactly the same. Re the beach. When we arrived it was packed and as the cleantel seem to like their trash artistically enhancing the beach and accomaning them as swimming buddies in the sea, was a bit icky until mid week when the vast numbers of beach artistes had left. Both the beach and the sea then became boringly clean and less entertaining. In summary, it's cheap and cheerless and handy for the beach. It short, a glorified no frills beach hut that served its purpose

The overall style is still more like Internet celebrities, with a sense of design but not strong. The restaurant and terrace on the roof have good views, but it is too hot in summer. 🛌Room environment (🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟): Overall clean, you can see the sea while lying on the bed. 🛝Facilities OR activities (🌟 🌟): There are no facilities except for some scenery at the reception desk and the garden on the first floor. You can get fairy wands at night. 🧑💼Service (🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟): Feeling at home, overall feeling comfortable, especially when I was thirsty and wanted to order a drink during dinner, the store delivered drinks. ❤️Advantages: There are few people, and the service and environment of the B&B are excellent. 💔Disadvantages: The beach downstairs is small and full of dead fish. A special surprise stay experience! To sum it up: Recommended! The first is the hotel style, which is very exotic, and the room is clean and refreshing; when you enter the room, you will have an unobstructed view, the sea in the distance is blue, and you can see the Spanish town below. The view from the balcony is really worth it! The size of the bathtub is just right, and the toilet and bathroom are separated from wet and dry. After playing one night, I put on my own bathtub cover and took a beautiful bath to relieve fatigue. At night, there are fireworks on the coastline all the time, and the balcony can be seen from the barrier-free large viewing angle. I am really happy and excited! The hotel is 100 meters downstairs to walk to the Shuangyuewan Beach, which is very convenient; The next day, I hurriedly checked out with the high-speed train, and left my precious bracelet in the room (I rolled it in the paper and lost it when I left🫠) and found it when I returned to Shenzhen. It was the first time I brought my children to this hotel. I had a good impression. It was very cost-effective and very affordable. The hotel rooms were clean and the front desk service was friendly. The room is located on the 21st floor. Except for the late-night fireworks, which are a bit noisy, the sound insulation is pretty good. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. You can drive around ten kilometers away. There is also a free beach downstairs. However, there was a typhoon the next day and the beach was closed. The parking fee is a daily pass, with unlimited entry and exit of 25 per day, which is really cheap for the scenic spot. I lost my room card when I was playing, and the front desk was very enthusiastic to get a replacement one. I heard that you will get ripped off if you order a single order here, so I had a group purchase at DY, which was as advertised. Next time I bring my family to play, I will choose here again.

As far as the independent swimming pool is concerned, the price is still quite suitable! After living for two days, the water was changed and filtered in the morning. The water in the pool was clean. The swimming pool was 10 meters long, moderate in size, and had better privacy. Very satisfied! The only downside is that the room facilities are aging, a little musty, and strengthen ventilation! There is a township shopping center 10 kilometers away, and there is a farm nearby to eat. If you don't want to go out, you can choose the 68 yuan set meal at the golf course clubhouse restaurant at the entrance, and the taste is good!

(background: European but communicate fluently with staff in Chinese) The Sheraton welcomed us with a light-flooded lobby in traditional Asian architecture. A warm and relaxing impression. Location： The Sheraton is located between Xunliaowan (10min) and Shuangyuewan (30min), the two major tourist places on the peninsula. The hotel is located remotely, meaning no restaurants or supermarkets are close or outside the entrance. It shares the beach only with the Regal Resort, which is 1km down the beach. Therefore, its quiet and perfect for weekend-getaway from the busy city life. Facilities: The hotel offers 3-4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, some remain closed/not in-use (hard to tell). Food: The hotel has a lobby bar which offers drinks and small snacks. We ordered a coffee there to be served at the pool, which was challenging and took some effort, but finally possible. (Chinese speaker) The breakfast restaurant is located on groundfloor serving up to 10:30am. Apart from common Chinese dishes, I am interested in the continental food variety, here the hotel was offering very soft ”french style” baguette, 3 different types of cheese, and smoked duck breast as cold cut. Also, the hotel offered fresh salad buffet with a good variety including olives. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect fresh orange/fruit juice, which I could not find. The hotel offers a BBQ restaurant/bar at the waterfront, so we tried Shaokao around 7pm. we chose a 298Y package for 2ppl. The food quality was very poor and we had to return all sausages and ask 4 dishes to be put back on the BBQ. Any street BBQ tastes way better. First we were told all drinks are included, later a can of beer cost CNY40, So we had to pay additional CNY120. Disappointing experience for a 5 star hotel. Service: Concierge welcomed our taxi and opened the door, but did not offered any help for our luggage. Check-In took almost 20minutes (excluding waiting time) which is long for a 5 star hotel. We were told to go to the room, however, there wasn't clear signage where to find the right elevator to our room. Being at the pool, we tried to order drinks, as the hotel lobby is 10min away. It seems this customer wish is new to the hotel and we had to beg the hotel staff to find a solution for us. For a 5star hotel, I do expect being able to order/buy drinks/water at the pool area. The sunbeds at the pool needed cushions which are quite heavy and were located in a hidden area. (Hard to find for guests, so most guest just used their room towels on the hard benches). I would have wish that there is staff guiding/helping on that task. The F&B staff seems not well trained and supervised. Unfinished drinks have been thrown on the ground in the outdoor areas, food waste has been put in little plastic bags and clients tissues were used to clean tables and get them ready for next customers. We had to ask staff proactively to clean our table of used plates and bowls.
