Elegant Country Home that belonged to the same family since it was built in the 1920s. The house sits on 3 acres of land with a big deck and privacy. The house has hardwood floors throughout. The Large EIK kitchen is totally remodeled and has a dishwasher. Beside the dining room is our game room with a brand new Fuss ball table. There are two living rooms as well. One has a beautiful built in book case. There are two Roku Flat Screen TV'S one in each living room. We have SPECTRUM HIGH SPEED WIFI.Sign in info is behind the Modem.There is a front porch and a back deck with plenty of space to play. For the Summertime we have our new in ground pool with a privacy fence. Walk to the Hunter and even Tannersville to the Restaurants and nightlife. Great for weddings. Trailways bus stop is just down the road under 1/2 mile. You don't even need a car!Never leave garbage outside cause animals will get to it.16 people maximum occupancy! Relax and unwind in this light-filled 4-bedroom house, complete with wraparound deck and huge yard.The newly renovated main house features two rooms with king beds, one with an en-suite bathroom and one adjacent to a room with bunk beds and a desk. The fourth bedroom has a double bed. The high-ceiling great room has a woodburning fireplace stove inside, and a large wraparound deck and fire pit outside. The kitchen is stocked for a chef, or eat out at any of the highly rated restaurants of Tannersville, just down the road. Hunter Mountain is 10 minutes away; Windham is 15. In the summer there are hiking trails galore, including one a short walk down the hill that takes you along Rip Van Winkle Lake to the Boathouse restaurant, a playground, and pickleball courts. Please note that the house is adjacent to a studio apartment, which is not for rent. While the main house and the studio share a foyer and a driveway, the properties are completely separate and private. Welcome to the Tannersville Farmhouse! Situated at the top of 11 private acres, our house has the space you need, the comforts and luxuries you expect, and the views you dream of. Whether you are entertaining family and/or friends, the house and grounds will delight you. With beds for 19, a gracious modern kitchen, a pool, a hot tub, and a huge lawn for outdoor games, you couldn't ask for a better getaway in any season. The expansive grounds offer a sense of peaceful solitude, yet you are only a half mile from Tannersville's main street and a short drive to Hunter Mountain (10 mins). You are also within easy reach of charming towns like Hudson, Woodstock, Windham, and Saugerties.
On the main floor of the home, you will find the kitchen with an island counter that seats six. Marble countertops, a large trio fridge, two sinks, a five-burner cooktop, double wall ovens, two dishwashers, and many small appliances make preparing meals a pleasurable and interactive affair. Just outside the kitchen's French doors, you will find a gas grill and the pool. Past the kitchen are two full size bedrooms with a full bathroom. The dining table seats 14 comfortably and is easily accessible to the kitchen via a pass through sideboard with room for many platters of food. An adjacent table seats six.
The living room boasts plush chairs, couches, and ottomans to put your feet up on as you enjoy the wood burning fireplace. But no matter how comfortable the living room is, everyone will be vying for one of the sunroom's rockers and its uninterrupted views of the Catskill Mountains. Outside on the wrap-around porch, enjoy the landscape and the hummingbirds that grace us with their presence every year, or sit under the covered portion on stormy nights watching the lightning over the mountains.
Upstairs is a sitting room, four well-appointed bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Up another flight is the the fully-finished attic with beds to comfortably sleep five. Perfectly suited for children and young adults, this space also has ample room for two additional inflatable beds. The house is home to our extensive library with books for all ages in every nook and cranny. Toys and games for all are in the attic and sitting room.
On the patio level— a flight below the living room— is where the WiFi router is located. Through the glass doors to the outside is the lawn and another slate patio with a table and seating. The wood for the fireplace is stored just steps from this door for easy access. This is also where you will find the hot tub, which shares the expansive view from the sun room. It is stunning on a wintery night, but also lovely in the summer. Back inside, this level also has a television room, a full bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a laundry room with industrial size machines.
If you are up for a short walk in the woods, you can cross the driveway to the west and enter the woods on the path. You will walk through the maples that will soon give way to mountain pines. Continuing on the path, you will encounter the stream that is a watering place for local animals.
Upon returning home from your biking or hiking, you may be ready to take dip in our salt water pool which is medicinal in many ways. Or if it is winter and you are back from a long day of skiing, hop in the hot tub, unwind and enjoy the view.
In the town of Tannersville, you will find many restaurants (local favorites include Maggie's Crooked Cafe, The Last Chance Antiques & Cheese Cafe, Pancho Villa's Mexican Restaurant, and Mama's Boy Burgers featuring local grass fed beef), live music, antique stores, and other inviting shops. A beautiful bar awaits you for after hours at the Last Chance Tavern, hidden behind a secret shelving unit in the Cafe. If the performing arts entice you, the recently renovated Orpheum Theater— a remnant of the legendary Orpheum Chain from the 1920's— is back, hosting movies, live theater, music, and the annual Catskill Mountain Jazz Festival. TOPS grocery store is only 5 minutes away. For a wider selection, Price Chopper in Catskill is about 15 minutes away.

Never Lonesome is a stylish and cozy chalet meant for sharing with friends and family. It boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a dining table that seats 8 and a beautiful kitchen for preparing the perfect meal. Very close to Hunter Mountain, our house is the perfect place to retire after a long day of skiing or hiking. On rainy days inside, we have puzzles, games, Roku and best of all, Karaoke Microphones to sing along to your favorite tunes. In the evening, toast marshmallows over the fire pit and gaze up at the stars. We recently installed a handrail and cable spindles to make our stairs more safe for adults and especially kids! New picture coming soon!

The firepit and grill area on the front side of the house are private, but the backside of the house is very near our neighbors. They’re incredibly friendly— they help us take care of the property. You are renting the 2nd floor of this beautiful vacant house, T Lounge. Rental includes 3-Bedroom 2 Bathroom House, 3 adjacent Porches with Awning, Backyard Deck, Front Patio with outdoor furniture, Hottub, Firepit & Indoor Sauna.
The first floor is restricted it’s currently used for utilities only.
Area Points of Interest:
There are two Hunter snow slopes with skiing & snow tubing, snowmobiles rentals, Kaaterskill falls, North South lake & Colgate lake all just a short 5-10 min drive from the house.
Lakes have fishing, swimming, kayaking, boat riding, hiking, picnic areas.
NS lake is $10 per car per day, can go in & out, it has 2 designated swimming areas with lifeguards, as well as bathrooms & changing rooms.
Colgate lake if free but no conveniences.
Tannersville has lots of festivals all year long & annual antiques car show.
Windham skiing & Saugerties is half an hour drive from the house.

T Lounge has 2 separate outdoor wooden staircase entrances, 3 private Porches ( Balconies), its own Kitchen, with Washer & Dryer, a Hallway, a Dining Room & a Living Room, 3 Bedrooms with Queen Size Bed each & 2 Bathrooms with Shower each.

The Main Entrance is by private Wooden Staircase with its own Porch & Awning, from the front of the house.
Each Room in the house has its own Mysa Thermostat & carbon monoxide & smoke detector. All Bedrroms & Spa room have air conditioners. All Bedrooms, Kitchen & Spa room have fans.
Smoking is NOT allowed Indoor. Smoking IS Allowed Outdoors Only. We are providing ashtrays, for Outdoor Smoking use Only, for your convenience.
If presence of smoking is detected Indoors, a Deep Cleaning Fee Will be Retained From the Security Deposit.
Master Bedroom has a private Balcony with Bistro set with removable Ice Bucket & a private Powder Room. Powder Room has a Walk-in Shower with Kohler Converge Chrome massaging Showerhead & Toilet unit with Kohler warming seat & bidet washer.
