"The inn is located in the park so just note that the park doesn't allow Didi to enter between 8am - 5pm but it's a ~10 minute walk to the bus loop and shuttles come very often. The inn is quiet and peaceful but some of the common spaces, such as the tea room, look old and not lively. The rooms look a bit old and have a bit of wear-and-tear so it is a bit pricier for what you get in other touristy areas. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and the cleaner did a great job of cleaning our room."

"Every time I walked past Beishan Street, I'd think about staying at Xixia Lodge or just having some tea and enjoying the view. This time, I finally made it happen. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. They helped me with my luggage up and down the steps and even upgraded my room. The window overlooked Broken Bridge and West Lake – what a view! Breakfast was served with great care. It was delivered to the room exactly at the agreed-upon time and tasted delicious. On my last day, I enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea at the popular Thirteenth House Teahouse. With a pot of black tea, a pot of green tea, and two plates of pastries amidst such beautiful scenery, it was truly a delightful experience."

"Before coming to Hangzhou, I was worried about choosing the wrong guesthouse near the scenic spots. After comparing over a dozen, I finally settled on this one, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is absolutely perfect. I'm somewhat directionally challenged, and it took me three days to figure out the exact area, but it's a 3-minute walk to the zoo and a 10-minute walk to Su Causeway. There's a bus stop right outside, with direct routes to Lingyin Temple and Leifeng Pagoda. Plus, the street across is full of great food, so you don't have to go far. The room was even cleaner than the photos suggested, and the hygiene was exceptional, easily making up for its slightly older feel. The soundproofing was excellent too; I couldn't hear any outside noise at all, which meant I could get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. The owner was incredibly nice, proactively helping me with my luggage and sharing lots of local tips for sightseeing and dining, which helped me avoid many tourist traps. The value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hangzhou."

"Last week I saw that the weather in Hangzhou was good, so I set off immediately. I saw this very affordable hotel the night before and decided to check it out. The hotel is about two to three hundred meters north on the northeast side of West Lake, and it is very convenient to travel by bicycle. Although the room is small and well-equipped, you can take a comfortable bath after a day of running around. The water pressure is high and the water temperature is suitable. However, the high humidity in the room that other guests have mentioned is unavoidable. It is recommended to turn on the air conditioner for a few hours to dehumidify when going out to play or eat. There are many scenic spots around the West Lake, but they are relatively scattered, and bicycles are prohibited on the lakeside. After more than two days of sightseeing, I still haven’t visited them all. But it’s worth taking a walk along Gushan Road-Baidu Line in the evening."

The room layout is well-organized, the owner is enthusiastic and patient, the hotel environment is elegant, the service is thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and there are many disposable items provided, which is very thoughtful! It's a great value for money and highly recommended!"

"One of my favorite home stays ever. The hosts were super friendly, and served me the most delicious tea every day. The bed was very comfy and the rooms were spacious for the price paid. Will for sure ask to stay here again."

"The homestay is very close to the North Peak Cableway and the entrance of Lingyin Temple, only a few minutes walk away; there are also places to eat around, which is very convenient. The homestay is clean and hygienic, there are many disposable items to use, and it is very quiet at night. The attitude of the aunt and the front desk is very good, because we arrived earlier and helped us upgrade the room type for free; because it was a trip for three people, we also included an extra breakfast."

"From the West Lake 4.4Km, from the Xixi 5.2Km, brush a bicycle without delay, the room is small, the accommodation is OK, considering the price/performance ratio, you can give 80%. Warm service, responsive, like it!"

"What you see is what you get! The room has a Japanese style that I absolutely loved – it's perfect for photos. It offers great value for money, and they even provided complimentary welcome fruits and coffee. The owner was incredibly attentive and responsive. The overall environment is very comfortable and peaceful. If you don't feel like going out, you can leisurely sip coffee and tea in the room, enjoying quiet conversations. If you do want to explore, there are established attractions nearby like Lingyin Temple and Beigaofeng, as well as vast tea plantations. It's truly ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway. I didn't get to try the rubbings this time, but I heard they have floor heating, so I definitely need to come back again to experience that and try the owner's handmade coffee!"

"Facilities: The room was fully equipped 🛀 and the bedding was of very good quality 🛌, I slept very comfortably. Cleanliness: The room was clean and cozy 🏠 Environment: The entrance was decorated with flowers, perfect for taking photos 🌷 Service: The owner was very welcoming and provided excellent service. There was a super cute and well-behaved puppy in the house; dog lovers should definitely check it out! It's very close to the attractions, making it convenient to get around. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, but weekdays are even better for the experience 👍 I'll definitely come back next time!"
