The inn is located at the foot of the viewing platform in the Xijiang Thousand Households Miao Village. lt takes about one minut to walk to the inn.Each guest room is equipped with a full-house intelligent system and offers a panoramic view of Xijiang.There is also a leisure tea bar,reading area,and a public viewing pavilion.This ia an inn with a story.Note:li is more convenient to enter the inn form the west gate of the scenic area.
"The hotel's location is superb, just two floors below the observation deck. The night view is spectacular, so you don't have to jostle with crowds on the deck for photos. I set an alarm for 6:30 AM and captured stunning pictures of the village shrouded in morning mist from my balcony, then went back to sleep until after 10 AM. It was a fantastic experience.
Plus, the owner upgraded our room from the second-floor 'Thousand Paper Cranes' to a similarly located room on the third floor, making the view even better.
Private cars aren't allowed in the scenic area; you have to take a shuttle bus to the observation deck. The owner met us there early and helped with our luggage. The hotel also provided complimentary welcome fruit, which was a thoughtful touch.
After check-in, they gave us a detailed overview of the village's layout, including dining areas and popular photo spots.
I recommend bringing your own towels."

The hotel is conveniently located just 8km from Kaili Railway Station and 68km from Kaili Huangping Airport. Keeping busy is easy, with Chiyou Tribe - Miao and Dong Sentiment, Kaili National Stadium and Longying Miao Nationality Intangible Heritage Exhibition Hall all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Kaili hotel offers parking on site. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"Stay end Nov 2025 - solo traveler. The hostal is located in a touristic area with shops and restaurants, about 20 mins taxi drive from Kaili south high speed train station. Nice area. The property consist of a shop and upstairs dorm & guestrooms. Facilities: a common kitchen, bathroom w/squat toilet / shower and a common space aren’t new but good enough. Beds in dorm are hard wooden boards (a thick topper would be good..) lack a curtain & personal light but do have an individual socket and shelf.
Consider staying here in winter; there is no heating in the common space/kitchen/bathroom. Doubt if they turn on the airco heating at dorm during day & evening. When I stayed here, it was 1 day very cold and they allowed the airco in dorm to be turned on only at 21:00.
Is this a good place for foreigners to stay during other seasons? - I would say ‘yes’ but than again: I speak and understand some Chinese language. Kaili and surroundings (Miao villages) are lovely to visit but might be hard to get to as a foreigner without Chinese language knowledge. Unless you like a challenge and have enough money to pay for individual Didi taxis instead of shared ones.
The shop girls did their best, they helped me arrange a taxi to Langde, but they are not trained as receptionists so don't expect too much. I doubt if they speak English at all."

"首先我的評論是基於事實的。剛開始我看到評論上説可以陽台朝江，住客可以免費遊江，我想着想着帶着孩子也不在乎它貴個百來塊錢吧，在眾多民宿裏我挑了個最貴（在下司古鎮裏528元的價格已經是天花板了吧），還訂了個河畔標間，結果😓😓😓😓大熱天，我致電前台説我快到了，前台説，你快到了就進景區，找不到了就打電話他們在橋頭。那好吧，我一家四口，拖着個大行李箱，買了觀光車票進去，跟司機説去橋頭，然後我們到了橋頭，找不到再打電話給前台，前台説我也不知道你説的在哪？（其實就是遠了兩三百米的距離），好吧，又拖着行李箱又坐上觀光車到前台説的那個站下，然後又聯繫前台，前台説好，我安排人過去接你，（我心裏想終於有人幫忙拿一下行李了），結果來了個打着傘的阿姨，遠遠招手讓我們跟着她😪😪😪😪其實我想説一句，他們店家的車可以進出園區的，就不能從開始就派個車來門口接人嗎？也用不了多少錢吧。真無語➕1。終於到了前台了，剛碰到有人要住房，前台竟然拿着一堆的房卡，讓人帶着客人逐間看，逐間着挑，還便宜（480元，我聽到的，後來不知道還有沒有減了），我問了一句，在線下還能便宜點啊，前台第一次不回答，我再問，她就説因為時間已經4點多了，問題是我也是前兩三個鐘頭在網上臨時訂的，想説送了早餐彌補一下心理的不舒服吧，前台堅決不能（我前幾家酒店看我拖家帶口的，要不就跟我免費升級房間，要不就是贈送了早餐），衹能説這店家“鐵面無私”，我無語➕2😪😪😪進了房間，房間裏除了廁所有紙巾外，客房是沒有紙巾的（到目前為止，我每年寒暑假，中長假期都會帶小孩出遊，現在我大孩子已經13歲了，唯一家房間裏不配紙巾），還好我自備了，房間的紙巾沒有，廁所紙巾也不多，前台也老找不到人，那沒自備的同志們想辦法吧，無語➕3。電視機衹有中央1台，其它的收費,這也是僅此一家了吧，有的時候，累了想躺下酒店，小孩想看回電視都不能，無語➕4。😪😪😪😪😪再説空調吧，一整天開着16多，強行製冷，也沒見冷到哪去，孩子睡覺被子都不用多蓋的，無語➕5。河畔標間，以為的是看到遊船的，結果此河非彼河，原來是大河的一條小分支，除了蚊蟲，蜜蜂蒼蠅多一點，也沒啥看頭了，無語➕6。綜上所述，在在貴州10天，我換了六家民宿酒店的，這是最無語，我不評論一下下的，我對不起我的人民幣528*2=1056"

"A very satisfying stay! The owner, Brother Wang, is a seasoned guesthouse owner with experience all over the country. His service was warm, attentive, and considerate; he was always there for everyone, even offering surprising itineraries and restaurant recommendations – truly amazing! The guesthouse's decor was also very thoughtful, probably unique in the village. I wonder what surprises await after the renovations; looking forward to my next visit.
Environment: Very convenient, right next to the Lusheng (a traditional reed pipe instrument) area.
Service: Thoughtful and attentive."

"The hotel's overall environment is quite pleasant. Although a bit remote and the road up the mountain is a bit winding, the view from the hotel is well worth it, overlooking the entire valley. The housekeeper was also very helpful, turning on the heater in advance, helping with our luggage, and even bringing us a large bowl of fruit.
Compared to other accommodations within Qianhu Miao Village, this one is remarkably quiet. We were the only family staying that day, so it was quite peaceful, and we could hear the crows cawing outside. Highly recommended for those who enjoy listening to the sounds of nature. It's also perfect for small groups and team building. If you're not pressed for time, you can stay in the hotel for a while, enjoying the beautiful valley views and even wearing Miao clothing (provided free of charge) for photos.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Most of the appliances are Xiaomi. It would be even better if they could be upgraded with smart technology."
