Water Meworld is located in the urban core area opposite the Taipei Railway Station. It is an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, MRT, bus, and passenger railways. It has an excellent geographical advantage.
"The location is very convenient, with Starbucks, convenience stores, and fast-food restaurants all nearby. However, communication with the receptionist was quite difficult. I stayed for four days, and when I called to request a shower gel refill and a bed sheet change, they only replaced the towels each time. The bed sheets were quite old and had several stains. The air conditioning worked well, but the remote control didn’t seem to adjust the temperature properly. The shower had hot and cold water, but the temperature was inconsistent and difficult to balance. The room lighting was also too dim. The Wi-Fi was generally fast, but it wasn’t very reliable, as there were times when the connection became unstable. Overall, I still had a good experience, and I think the hotel offers good value for the money."

"Close to Shilin Night Market, the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you're staying in a family room, you might end up in a corner room or one directly at the end of the hallway. Our triple room was at the end of the hallway. We had to wait half an hour for the elevator when checking out."

Guests will find Evergreen Maritime Museum, The Red House and Taipei Tianhou Temple just a short distance from the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"Hotel is located at the heart of ximending just beside carrefour hence it’s convenient. Staff though are not the most accommodating. You hae to wait exactly at 3pm to check in. There were old guests waiting and standing by lobby coz there were not enough chairs available. Wifi signal can sometimes be slow. Breakfast place is a bit limited too so if there’s a lot of guests, you have to wait for a bit to be seated. Otherwise, place is clean and well located."

The room had enough space to open my suitcase, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, I think it's perfectly fine! Note: Even for consecutive nights, only one towel is provided, so while you can wash it, if you find that inconvenient, I recommend bringing your own!"

Our hotel is the best and convenient choice for business trips, and also can travel this wonderful city. Located in the Xinyi district, just only 5 minutes can arrive Taipei 101 and night market, besides, 45 minutes from Taoyuan Airport, and 20 minutes from Taipei Songshan Airport. The facilities in each room with many international socket. Whatever you want to do, searching, watching films, updating or downloading document, it will nor be a problem.
"The room is clean with full length glass window that allows the view on a bustling cross junction of Taipei street, at an angle you will be able to see the Tapei 101 especially at night with the lightings. The space is sufficient to have 2 suitcase open up fully. The location is superb, with the iconic building and mega billboard is easy to locate the hotel from 2 streets away. There are also local eateries and 24hrs convenience stall around the hotel."

We regret that we cannot guarantee specific floor assignments. Some room types have balconies, and assignments are subject to availability.
"I had a pleasant stay at Dandy Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The breakfast was simple and okay. A nice bonus was the 24hrs coffee machine in the lobby. The complimentary cookies provided in the room was tasty. The hotel's location is excellent. It is located right next to MRT Exit 1, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Taipei. However, Exit 1 only has stairs, so travellers with luggage may find Exit 6 more convenient, which is still only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, while a FamilyMart and Subway both within a 2-minute walk. There are some room renovations going on from 10am till 6pm currently. So if you're in the room at during these times, it might be noisy because of the drilling works. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable hotel in a very strategic location, making it a great base for exploring Taipei. I would happily stay here again."

"This hotel offers a fantastic location and comfort, perfect even on rainy days. The underground passages from the airport to the city center made getting around stress-free. The room with a window felt spacious and refreshing. It's perfectly compact for 1-2 guests. ⭐︎ Location & Access It's within walking distance of Taipei Main Station via the underground shopping malls, which was a huge help in sheltering from rain and wind. Across the street from the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven, and Ningxia Night Market is right nearby. Dihua Street and Zhongshan Station are also just about a 10-minute walk away. The transportation links are excellent for getting anywhere. There's a YouBike station close by, making it easy to enjoy sightseeing by bicycle. It's a good idea to check how to use the service on a Japanese app beforehand for peace of mind. ⭐︎ Room & Facilities The room was meticulously cleaned, and the linens were spotless. While some areas show their age, the hygiene was impeccable. The sink and shower areas also show some wear, but they were perfectly functional and comfortable to use. Being in an upper-floor room with a window, it felt much more open than rooms without one. The TV offered about 40 channels, and I even found myself getting engrossed in some nostalgic Japanese shows. ⭐︎ Dining & Comfort For dinner, you could enjoy the night market or bring food back to the room to pair with a beer – both are great options. The room is compact, making it an ideal size for 1-2 people. ⭐︎ Overall This hotel strikes a great balance between convenient location, cleanliness, and comfort. Moving around on a rainy day was stress-free thanks to the arcades. It's perfect for both solo travelers and stays with friends. I'd definitely consider this hotel for my next visit to Taipei."

"The room (double deluxe?) was rather small (for 2 people may be too small), but clean enough, and had all necessary things: kettle with tea and coffee, refrigerator, cloths hungers, window with mosquito net, AC, TV, hair drier, hot water, clean towels. The room was a bit worn-down, a bit dump, and the walls can use a better cleaning. There is a nice public area and rooftop, where you can have free coffee, juices, noodles and snacks. That's a nice touch. The location is great. it's not a fancy hotel, but as a place to spend the nights in Taipei - quiet decent."

"The cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location."

Fun Stay Inn Hanzhong

"There are a few U-Inn branches in Taipei, specifically Hanzhong, Ximen, and Chengdu. Our room was converted from a residential building on an inner street, so it felt quite new. There's no fridge in the room, but everything else is normal. Since it's a new establishment, we had to walk about 15 minutes to the Ximen branch to do laundry. The reception was very helpful; they even arranged for the Ximen branch to leave a card for me in advance, as the laundry room requires a key card to open. Also, getting to Nanjichang Night Market is super convenient: just walk out of the hotel and turn into the alley (Zhonghua Road section) for about 10 meters, and you'll find bus #20 to the night market. It's a big bus stop with many routes passing through. However, be aware that Exit 1 of the airport doesn't have an escalator, so you might need to use Exit 4 instead."

This place has a great location especially public transportation , Area was awesome 360 degrees around this hotel has a lot of food options shopping and one more thing it’s 5 minutes walk to Taiwan national Museum and nearby tourist spots like xemindeng and so on. Not all the Staff was friendly ,approachable & smiley 🤣Rooms was good ,and fair enough . Amenities was okay .I appreciated the kitchen and freebies , child friendly.Clealiness of the room when you arrived was good but the cleaning service during our stay was not good 😌 . Kinda disappointing

The room was clean and tidy. There were plenty of snack options downstairs. The air conditioning was making a strange noise, but the front desk promptly changed our room, which was great. The subway and bus stations nearby are very convenient (the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the bus stops are all close by).

A small and basic but very convenient hotel in the heart of the Songshan District, within a short (10 min) walk from the Nanjing-Fuxing Station. It's a bit dated, but everything works, so why fix what's not broken. Rooms are small but reasonable size. The rates were the most reasonable in the area for the March-April high season 2026 (I stay in central Taipei quite often and know the range). The staff are very friendly and helpful, some speak English. IMPROVEMENT SUGGESTED: During my stay my room didn't have sufficient power outlets, there was no desk outlet for the laptop, the bedside power outlet was occupied by the night light. Adding a couple of outlets would make the stay more convenient. Aside from this I wouldn't change anything at this hotel, please keep it as is, and maintain the reasonable rates.

The room is very spacious and clean. They change the bedding and towels everyday and clean the room everyday. The location is very convenient also as it is walks away from Taipei Main Station. Will surely stay again here.

Yes, it's charming. Friendly staff and cozy rooms create a welcome-atmosphere. The location is excellent - in a walking-distance to Songshan Station. Even Taipei 101 is only 1,5 km on foot away. Good to know: Should you book the breakfast option don't expect a breakfast buffet, but packed sandwiches or ban baos instead. Free coffee and soft drinks are being on offer 24/7. And the nearby night market caters all needs throughout the day anyway. Ubikes rental stations are plenty to start your bike adventures in Taipei. Simply begin at the nearby Rainbow Bridge and cycle along the Keelung River.

We had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. You take the elevator to the sixth floor for check-in. The entire sixth floor is a female-only dorm, which made me feel very safe. However, the lockers in the dorm rooms are thin metal, which makes them quite noisy. Even as a deep sleeper, I didn't sleep very well 😹. Perhaps they could redesign them or rearrange the locker placement. I've stayed in other youth hostels before and rarely encountered such noise issues. Also, the hairdryer's power is weak, so I'd recommend long-haired girls bring their own.

Fantastic stay! The environment was spotless and tidy, and the common areas were cozy and welcoming. My bed was also very clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The location is super convenient, with restaurants and public transport nearby. I met so many travelers from different places, and the atmosphere was relaxed and free-spirited. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market. The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay  without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily. The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.  I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries  and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet. Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the MRT station, and there are several convenience stores right outside. However, what I really need to complain about is the bizarre placement of the showerhead in the bathroom! You can't stand and shower comfortably, and the water inevitably sprays all over the toilet seat and toilet paper (even with the shower curtain drawn properly). Even more horrifying, the hot water is incredibly difficult to regulate; it suddenly blasts out scalding hot water (not just warm).
