Very clean, every decoration is carefully thought out and ready for use. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, and there is a viewing platform on the top floor. "This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience."

"When I came to Huangyao, the happiness was given by the inn. I was lucky to book the last room of this inn during the Spring Festival. The room went in to give me a quiet experience, I really want time to be still. I really like the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room, and the roof, simple. There is also a small balcony next to it, you can see the beautiful lake and fireworks. Next time I come, I have to live here. It is very close to the Solitaire, very convenient, and the inn has two doors before and after, which is very pleasant."

As the inn is inside the scenic area, visitors must purchase a ticket before entry. The founder is a designer who returned to their hometown after drifting in Shenzhen. They established their own garden-style inn and design studio, crafting this uniquely cozy and comfortable space with their expertise. Additionally, they retained a spacious café for their own enjoyment, allowing for coffee freedom. The inn boasts a prime location with convenient parking and easy access. From the Jielongmen entrance of the scenic area, a short walk leads to the inn. The surroundings are elegant and tranquil, while the interior offers a naturally comfortable and fully functional space. The public areas are particularly ideal for photo opportunities. Coupled with exceptional service, guests are warmly welcomed to feel at home—chatting and sharing stories together. We sincerely look forward to your visit!

Service: I arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening. The proprietress asked her husband to come out early to help me with my luggage. After dinner, I walked to the store and checked in easily! GGuest UserAfter walking around the ancient town, I found that there seemed to be no more than 5 B&Bs with courtyards in the ancient town! I was lucky to stay in this B&B and drink tea and chat in the courtyard. Moreover, the B&B is only a few dozen meters away from several core attractions. It is really comfortable!
