"Location is great. It is located just right opposite to the Taipei Main Station. You may stay here if you have an early flight has to catch. Things to remark is they didn’t clean the room daily but they will collect the rubbish and change the towel daily which consider acceptable for us. One of my friends got bitten by the bugs and caused itching on the legs. The staff provided us ointment, offered room changing, sprayed some mist on our bed. Overall they did try their best to help."

"Facilities: Comprehensive and well-equipped, including bottled water. Hygiene: Clean and spotless. Environment: Comfortable and quiet. You can easily walk to nearby areas for strolls, food, and drinks, or take the hotel shuttle to the metro and bus stations, which is very convenient! Service: It was okay. Taiwan promotes environmental protection, so they tend to provide less service if possible, haha."

"2nd rime staying in Just Sleep Ximending and no regrets. First time was 10 years ago and today back again. Ambience still cozy and room was very clean. Main lobby area is so cozy that after a long day can come here for a hot coffee n snack before heading back to our room for rest. Highly recommended for all as location very convenient to ximending and mrt. Easily accessible. Thank you Just Sleep for the overall pleasant experience again."

"The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome. We arrived before the check‑in time, but they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and offered great recommendations for sightseeing and dining. We stayed in a family room for three people, and the space was more than enough for us. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is also great—not right in the middle of Ximending, but slightly away from the busy area, so it’s quieter and more relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant stay!"

"The Illume is a huge hotel located a few minutes drive away from the airport and a couple minutes walk from the Taipei arena. The hotel rooms are big and the pool is a great amenity. I did have some difficulty booking their room's as they change availability... Less said about this, but I reccomend returning to check prices more than once."

"My son and I traveled to Taipei for a music event. We made the decision to stay overnight and, after reading reviews, I booked Happiness Hotel for one night. Check in was easy and quick, our rooms were great, the beds were comfortable, we slept well and had a great experience overall. We would stay again & recommend it to others."

"Great hotel if you plan to spend a lot of time relaxing there. Breakfast is great with many options and the dining room is huge and comfortable, so that’s perfect if you hate to queue for a table. The spa/swimming pool/gym is definitely the highlight of the hotel if you need to work out and relax! Lowlights are location and also we eventhough the overall staff was great, we were just unlucky with a total useless lady at the front desk helping us check in. It literally lasted 2 minutes and she didn’t even give us a map and didn’t tell us anything about the shuttle bus service so we had a terrible experience on the first night getting around for dinner."

"As a 5-star hotel, I don't think they should be promoting self check-in kiosks. A 5-star hotel should provide the expected service, not tell me to use a self check-in machine – I might as well book a 3-star hotel then. And if the self check-in machine wasn't bad enough, it even had problems. Check-in was supposed to start at 3 PM, but when I arrived at 4 PM, it said my room wasn't ready yet? Then I had to go back to the front desk to sort it out. If the machines are so unreliable, why not just let guests check in at the front desk? Furthermore, before checking in, I specifically requested a high floor, and the hotel even replied that for my room type, the highest floor available was the 29th, which shows they saw my note. Yet, upon check-in, I was assigned the lowest available floor, the 12th. I had to request a change again to get moved to the 18th floor – it's just speechless. And to top it off, I can overlook the lack of toothbrushes and toothpaste, but shouldn't a room at least come with two bottles of mineral water as standard? I know there's a water dispenser on every floor, but I'm a tourist. Do you expect me to carry a bottle around everywhere? There's a limit to how 'eco-friendly' one can be."

"My room wasn't facing the elevated highway, and the soundproofing was decent; I had a view of some greenery. It was great for solo travel; they gave me a king-size bed, so I could sleep on one half and put my belongings on the other. The common area upstairs was also very spacious. Perhaps the only issue was that the bathroom was tiny and low-ceilinged. As a 165cm tall woman, standing in the bathtub to shower, my head was already very close to the ceiling. The location is super convenient, and there are actually a lot of food options nearby. I'd definitely book this place again if I'm traveling alone."

"The hotel is located near Banqiao Station, which is quite convenient if you're traveling by High-Speed Rail or public transport. Overall, it's pretty good – the facilities are quite new and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The only downside is that the breakfast ingredients were a bit subpar; the porridge wasn't hot, the noodles had a strong, unpleasant lard smell, and the fruit and tomatoes clearly weren't fresh."
