Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. It is recommended. Everything is perfect except that the location is a bit inconvenient to use public transportation! First of all, the boss's heart doesn't make sense. I realized the moment I entered the stall. Marshmallow skewers, Bhutan gas, salt sprinkled on barbecue meat, seasonings such as herb salt, etc. were all 'free'. Considering that the products sold for a fee are sold in such places, it was not expensive at all. And the room was also very clean. Thanks to that, I was able to sleep comfortably and comfortably! There was an electric panel on the bed, so it was hot even in winter. I see a lot of separates at night, so it's perfect for sensibility with friends. . Finally, there are small basketball and football fields and balls, badminton rackets and shuttle cocks, and rooms in the wild, so there was plenty of play. I'm thinking of coming back!!

We are a family from Germany and stayed for two nights. We were extremely happy with the accommodation – the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We actually arrived one day earlier than booked, and he took great care of us, even inviting us for dinner! The cozy place was very well equipped – a large TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We truly appreciated the owner’s wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much again!

겉으로 보기엔 되게 옛날 숙박업소 같은 느낌이라 들어갈 때 여기만 제발 아니었으면 하고 바랬었는데요! 막상 들어가니까 내부 시설은 pc도 성능 괜찮고 침대나 분위기나 조명이나 굉장히 깨끗하고 모던한 방 느낌이었어요! 다음번에 근처 가게 되면 한 번 더 방문할 의사 있습니다!

Heated floors, large TV, and they had a clothes cleaning closet to help get food smells out of your clothes overnight. Provided robes and any toiletries needed without asking.

Since it was a winter trip, I requested heating in advance, but it wasn't heated in advance, so it was a bit cold. And since there's no floor heating, it doesn't seem like a good idea to use it in the winter. Other than that, the facilities were clean and the view was good, so it would have been better if I went in the summer.

Didn’t get the pickup service even though it was clearly mentioned free pickup service.

It was in a very good location, so I went on a good trip the next day.

whilst the location is fabulous, the check in experience leaves very little to be desired for. upon arriving (after a long drive from Gyeongju), we could not find anyone at the property. We didnt know that the neighbours there were not part of the property so when we knocked on their door, they got a little annoyed at us, and that we were bothering them. We ended up having to call the numnber listed on the booking site, but the problem was that the person who picked up the phone couldnt speak any english - and i kept saying check in, and he kept saying 4pm. All i wanted for him to do was to show up in person to check us in, not tell me that check in time is 4pm, which I already know! he then hung up after trying to communicate with us. so we waited and waited and called and called and called, and then, when we were just to give up to find another place to stay, a lady turned up and asked my name. We then got checked in. the room was beautiful - it was a lot bigger than what we needed. there were no chairs in the room so my poor partners' back was in pain because he couldnt really sit on the floor. the floor was also very hot through the night so we couldnt really sleep as the heat came through the floor mattress.
