"This is my second time staying at Hotel Excelsior with my family tand it didn’t disappoint. The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We were fortunate this time to be allocated the newly renovated  triple room and it was nice and classy. There was some issue with the plumbing connected to the toilet bowl but a staff was sent over in less than half and hour to fix the issue. The hotel room was clean and one of the concierge staff named Hazz was extremely helpful and took his initiative to help google for information on places in Ipoh we asked him about. He also gave a number of good recommendations for alternative places to visit as well. Another thing I like about this hotel is, they usually have iced lemon tea at their lobby for guests to drink. This is a godsend when guests like me return to the hotel, given the sweltering heat in the afternoon. Nothing beats having a glass of iced lemon tea before heading up to your room. We will definitely return to Hotel Excelsior the next time we come to Ipoh."

"Stayed at Travelodge Ipoh and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit small, but still cozy enough for a good sleep. The facilities were good too — the gym and swimming pool are free to use and quite standard for a comfortable stay. One of the best parts was the breakfast, with so many types of food and choices available. Another plus point is the free parking provided for hotel guests, which made everything more convenient. Overall, a good stay and worth considering when visiting Ipoh!"

"First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China."

"The hotel's location is great, and it has its own underground parking with plenty of spaces, which is perfect for guests traveling by car. The breakfast was also good, I liked it. The room was spacious and comfortable. I did notice that the pillowcases hadn't been changed, but after mentioning it to the front desk, they quickly brought us new ones, which was satisfactory."

"Excellent! [Highly Recommended] AC Hotel Ipoh – A Comfortable Choice You'll Love After Staying! My recent trip to Ipoh included a stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Ipoh, and the overall experience was so satisfying that I just had to share it! ✅ Super Convenient Location Right in the heart of Ipoh, very close to the airport (seriously, it's close!). It's quick to get to Lost World, Old Town, and all the major food areas. There's also an AEON Mall nearby, perfect for late-night snacks and shopping. ✅ Comfortable and Clean Rooms The room size was decent, the bed was very comfortable, and you could choose your pillow (just call room service for different firmness options). The bathroom was clean, water pressure was good, and the overall design was simple yet tasteful. ✅ Attentive Service The front desk and staff were all very friendly, and check-in/out was efficient. I even checked in smoothly in the early morning, and they helped arrange a parking spot. ✅ Practical Facilities There's a gym, a swimming pool (not huge, but good enough for relaxing), and a lounge for a drink. The buffet breakfast offers a good selection, especially the Nasi Lemak and Kaya Toast – delicious! ✅ Great Value for Money For a Marriott brand hotel, the price is reasonable and often cheaper than comparable hotels in Kuala Lumpur. It's suitable for both business and family travel. 📌 A Small Tip The hotel doesn't have its own large parking lot, but there's a paid parking lot right next door (the hotel has a partnership, so remember to ask about discounts). Also, the soundproofing in the rooms is just average, so I'd recommend staying on a higher floor. 💬 Summary: Clean, convenient, great service, and fair prices – I'll definitely choose AC Hotel again on my next visit to Ipoh!"

"Location within 10mins walking distance to tourist spots. Shower water was good enough. Cleanliness needs to be much improved. The bed sheet and blanket were not cleaned and stained. The screen of the television was broken. Roadside parking space was very limited, although a covered “parking garage”provided, the scary and steep narrow entrance need to have a very skilful driving techniques required."

"Had a pleasant stay at Weil Hotel Ipoh with my family. The location was excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around and finding food nearby. The service was good overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were generally clean, although there is still a little room for improvement in cleanliness. The amenities were good and made the stay comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would consider staying here again."

"I truly feel fortunate and lucky to have discovered this HIDDEN JEM of a Hotel! It is Centrally Located in IPOH, Malaysia and Shopping and Restaurants are closeby and within walking distance! The room was spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed too! The Room rates are quite reasonable and a great overall value. I think what sets this Artistic Hotel apart from others is the 5-Star Service provided by each and every member of the Team! I had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Front Desk staff and Room Attendenta and each and everyone had a positive attitude and genuinely cared if I was happy at ALL times. I believe they went above and beyond ALL of my expectations to ensure I was 110% SATISFIED with my stay. "Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kinta during my recent trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area—easy access to shops and food spots nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The highlight of the trip was definitely the buka puasa experience. The atmosphere felt like the classic P. Ramlee & Saloma era—very lively and nostalgic. There was a live band and DJ that made the night even more happening, and the hotel staff really entertained the guests which made the whole experience feel warm and memorable. Special shoutout to Prem, Adji, Feri & Zack for the great hospitality and fun vibes throughout the night. They truly made the buka puasa experience more meriah and enjoyable. 🌙✨ Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting and looking for a place with good vibes during Ramadan."
