I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mula Hotel in Istanbul with my family, including two toddlers, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the old Sultanahmet area, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, offering a perfect blend of convenience and cultural immersion. The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze. The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable. However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated. I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels. In conclusion, Mula Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a memorable experience. Whether it’s the prime location, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food, or the unparalleled service, this hotel ticks all the boxes for an exceptional stay in Istanbul. A perfect place to stay in Sultanahmet ambiance. Its location is close to all historical places. It is a highly recommended hotel as a location. The rooms are very clean and I love the view. The breakfast is on the terrace and a wonderful view welcomes you, and the service was very good. All of the employees are professional and helpful, I am very satisfied with this interest. Seven Hills Palace & Spa is a wonderful hotel! The service is personal and attentive, and the facilities are very beautiful. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room overlooking the Bosphorous and the outdoor pool on the ground floor, which was very nice. They also have a sauna and steam room available to guests at no charge for 30 minutes each day. Do remember to pre-book. The restaurant on the property is called Vitale and you will not get a better meal in Istanbul! The breakfast is also expansive and includes traditional Turkish breakfast dishes. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel the hotel is a bit over-priced for the accommodations. Our room was quite small and I had hoped for a balcony after paying a lot more for a Deluxe Sea View room. We stayed at another hotel in Istanbul that was half the price with same level of service and arguably better facilities, and also closer to the attractions in Sultanahmet. Again, I cannot fault Seven Hills for anything during our stay, but the price is very high considering the facilities.

The hospitality service is excellent, and well-prepared toiletries. Breakfast has plenty of varieties. We select double room with sea view, it’s so peaceful when you open the big windows, watching the sea and feeling the breeze.

The hotel is very cozy, the room is clean, we lived on the fifth floor, a piece of the bay was visible from the window, breakfast was a continental buffet, we had enough food to have breakfast. There are many restaurants and minimarkets nearby. The location of the hotel is very good, all top attractions can be reached on foot. If you are not a fan of walking, you can take the tram, the stop is nearby.

Absolutely great place to stay! The hotel is placed on the heart of the city, all main sightseeing’s in walking distance, a lot of restaurants around so it’s easy to find nice place for lunch or dinner or just for cup of Turkish tea. The hotel is not big, with very stylish local design and absolutely warm atmosphere inside: a lot of respect and care about the guests. The rooms are clean and have nice design, small balconies with street view or sea view on other side. In nice cafe on the first floor good breakfast are served. Especially would like to thank Kenan from reception for his hospitality, help in every question we had, stories and recommendations about the city. It was pleasant stay :) Thank you

We’d originally booked this hotel pre pandemic and when the trip was cancelled we were told that we could rebook and only pay the seasonal difference. Fetullah was brilliant in responding to my emails and rebooking with the discount applied plus an extra room for our children We stayed here for 4 nights and everything from the service, location and the staff especially were superb. We arrived at 1.30am, everyone was hungry and Saleh who was working at the time arranged for a fresh meal to be cooked which was greatly appreciated 😊 Rooms were a very good size, housekeeping came every day and staff were very attentive and extremely helpful We had an early morning flight back to the uk and somehow my daughter left her iPad in the room. We didn’t notice until we were on the plane. I called the hotel, they hadn’t been in the room yet but quickly checked and thankfully the iPad was there. Again Fetullah to the rescue!! Assured me that it was safe and once we got back to the UK they’d make arrangements to have it shipped over to us As it happened a friend of a friend was in Istanbul at the time and kindly picked it up from the hotel to bring back. Throughout the stressful days of trying to arrange shipping the staff were so helpful and responsive to my messages I would most definitely recommend this hotel (even without the iPad incident!!) as I could find no fault, location is definitely spot on, under 10 minutes walk to Blue mosque in one direction and under 10 minutes to sea front in the other direction. Lots of little cafes and shops nearby but also nice and quiet. Staff were just brilliant I’d like to say a massive thank you to all the staff especially Fetullah who is just nicest and most helpful person Thank you 😊

I wholeheartedly believe that you would solely regret you decision to visit this hotel which you hopefully do not chose as did I. Initially, I was greeted with no Wi-Fi which was a reoccurring issue throughout my stay and a situation which has been very strange to me in all my years of traveling across the globe (mostly Pakistan) and one which I have never thought I would ever see to be so prominent in this extremely technology advanced day and age. Soon after I decided to freshen up, however much to my dismay the overhead shower was not operable and I was forced to use an extremely miniature shower head which looked much better as a bidet/lota. In addition to these problems me a regular human trying to enjoy my holiday realised that as described the hotel had neither ironing facilities nor the fitness suite they claimed to provide which was apparently closed due to covid 19 which seems to have disappeared in the UK (and around the world) since the very peculiar work events (parties) of Boris Johnson who has also disappeared. But this is not the case in this particular hotel. Lastly, the washing facilities were terrible and my laundry came back with a very bizarre smell which leaves me bewildered as I never apprehended this to be possible in the case of a laundry that had just been ‘washed’. To conclude I as you ancestor in this situation and trip advisor am advising you to not ever stay at this hotel even as the last resort in the entire of Istanbul. You’d much rather buy at tent and follow in Ottoman tradition.

The next day we were told to check out of this hotel (before lunch) We thought we would check into Sur. But that was not the case: we were told that they would check into another hotel, but later, after lunch. As a result, we did not spend a single day at Sure. We only came there for breakfast. As already written, breakfast is the same every day, modest, but quite nutritious, on the top floor, on a glass terrace, overlooking the Sea of ​​Marmara. The staff is helpful and friendly. In general, we were satisfied with everything.
